Convenient location located in downtown Alton, plenty of parking was available along the street or in the lot. But let's talk about why you're heading here...the food! I enjoyed the daily special and a bowl of white chicken chili, both were amazing! And the desert selection was amazing! I had a slice of cheesecake, but three or four more selections caught my eye. Very friendly and engaging staff, even during a very busy lunch rush. I will definitely be back again!

They were busy busy and sold out of almost all pie and cake. That's how good theirs is. The owner is a beautiful soul and twin sister of the original owner. We only knew this because my son asked if she was the owner, and she let us know her story. This was an opening to the life of a hard-working woman who loved her sister and carried on her sisters beautiful little business.

An Alton staple. They have a small menu (which I believe changes daily/frequently) which is always good, but the star of the show is desserts. Had the Snickers cheesecake today, and, yup, it was perfect. The building is old, which adds to the charm of this place. And if you're lucky enough, you can sit all the way in the back and have great view of the river.

I have been coming to this restaurant with my mom since I was a kid and have always loved the food and found the atmosphere charming. Recently, we had My Just Desserts cater their famous Tollhouse Brownies for our wedding, and they were absolutely perfect.

First time there today. Absolutely wonderful. But unfortunately they'll be closing their doors on March 30th 😕

Oh my word, stopped in for Sunday dinner - the chicken pot pie special with salad & dessert? SO delicious!! Beautifully seasoned, scrumptious comfort food, & the salad was a lovely & healthy tumble of fresh ingredients. The restaurant has a warm, vintage vibe and everyone was friendly & helpful. This is a true treasure of Alton, and an essential stop if you are visiting...if you live nearby, how fortunate you are!

The salad that I ordered was more than generous and so very fresh. I hadn't had Tomato Bisque that was freshly made with tomato chunks. I had a memorable experience there. I will definitely return to enjoy another piece of pie.

I grew up in Alton and have such fond memories here. Now my family lives in Missouri, so when I visit them I don't often get back to my hometown. We made an exception this past Thanksgiving week and coming here and eating a sandwich I loved as a kid through to my teens was such a wonderful experience. Always recommend this place.

Lunch was the special of the day. Chicken panini w/pesto/thin sliced tomatoe/cheese sandwich & side of spinach cheese soup, potato chips ranch seasoning & slicled pickle. Delicious! I did not have room for a piece of radical cherry pie or lemon pie or any desert:( Sure was tempting!!!! Next time.

Made me the wrong pie, however they immediately remedied the matter and made me a fresh new one. Wonderful lunches. Best soups I've ever eaten. For owner reference-blueberry pie never thickened.

Best broccoli soup I have ever had!! Owner was super friendly as was the staff. They helped us with directions as we are from Ohio. Great experience. Loved it!!

We were visiting from Ohio and stumbled across this jewel with great views of the river. The food was delicious and desserts a must. The owner was so friendly and helpful.Definitely a must see if you are in the area.

I walked in the door and was immediately greeted with a smile. I had never been there so I asked for a suggestion, without hesitation the lady recommended Mrs Ledbetter the signature pie. That pie has a great texure and balance of flavor. Though it's chocolate it's not too rich and the crispy topping has a nice cereal crunch. The buttery flavor enhances the tasty sensation. Last but not least the pies' crust was flakey and delicious, I usually don't eat the edges but it was too good to pass up. I plan to go back with a small group because the customers I spoke with only had high praise for the food.

I was looking to grab something different to eat in Alton, and decided to go here. The restaurant has been featured in my social media feed several times. I ordered the "Damn Sandwich" and a bowl of Chicken Gumbo. The gumbo was nice and comforting on a cool rainy day. The sandwich was good and well made. Yes, you can mess-up a sandwich. Make sure if you like it hot, just ask. The service was good, my server was named Meg. She recommended the Pecan Fudge Pie, and it was very good!

Food was good, dessert was delicious. Lovely small business in historic downtown Alton. A good place to relax over lunch; don't go there if you're in a hurry.

I absolutely love this place. Their rhubarb pie and the gooseberry pie are my favorites. Pecan pie is another great choice. Their sandwiches are good too - served with a pickle and chips.

It's on Broadway in Alton - so there is plenty else to do nearby, if you're looking for a day out. The service is good, the vibe is nice, and the pies are exceptional.

The place is totally awesome! We hadn't seen each other for quite a while and was able to sit and talk and not be rushed. Oh by the way the food was awesome as well... don't even get me started on the peach pie we had... They get 50 stars in my book!!!!
