Very fun experience digging through the bins and searching for hidden treasures! My friend and I went and had fun watching the resellers go crazy when they roll out the "new" bins every so often. If you stay away from the crowd, you'll have personal space and be able to dig through the bins for a while, but if you go to where the new stuff is when it's being brought out, you'll be amongst others who are aggressively digging and throwing things everywhere. Not a fan of the resellers sitting by the entrance/exit and live streaming loudly, but it was definitely a fun experience and the employees were very friendly and helpful!

Don’t listen to the negative reviews - they do not understand what this store is supposed to be. I love going here - I always find amazing stuff, and can leave with two carts full of stuff for under $40! I wish they had more headlines stuff that got switched out, but I never leave empty handed and have found amazing deals. Lots of great quality clothes too. Just have to put in a little elbow grease to dig around!

I love it! This is a great location with lots of variety to choose from. There was a lot of new with tags items as well. A nice selection of items per bin and not overflowing. There are two rows of home items as well which is a lot more than other locations. For the price it is worth it! Children are allowed and it is very neat and organized. I had a nice time!

Before you head to the goodwill outlet you have to know that it’s not your typical goodwill. Everything is in bins. There’s no sizes, colors or any type of organization. Except this location does try to put all the jeans in one place and coats in one place. Then there’s the home, shoes and bags. Which is not the case at all outlets. You have to be prepared to dig around for things. If you spend a few hours digging around you’ll find some great stuff! I will say I feel like this location has a lot more kids clothes than I expected. So if you have little ones this is a great location to check out! I’m glad there’s a closer location to me. I’ve been to the St Louis one which is 2.5 hours away from me. Now this one is a little less than 1.5 hours away. (YAY!) Once you fill up your cart you head to check out where you PAY BY THE POUND. It’s an insanely good deal! I’ve spend $40 on about 30 pieces of clothing. Make sure you take your reusable bags, hand sanitizer and some snacks after you’re done thrifting. Some people take gloves but I personally like to feel the fabric before I buy so I just wash my hands when I’m done and use hand sanitizer. I’d also wear some comfy clothes if you plan on being there for awhile.

Clearly everyone here doesn’t know what a goodwill outlet store is. THEYRE CALLED “BINS” FOR A REASON. It’s not gonna be organized, it’s not gonna be clean, and it’s mostly going to be clothes. It’s The Bins, not a regular goodwill. Most people know that going into it.

This place is great once you learn how it works. I guess it just opened so everyone is learning but the deals are good. It’s just sad stuff gets so over priced at the main stores and then ends up here for 1$! I wish one was closer to me!

Takes some digging and patience to find items worthy to take home but makes for a good treasure hunt

Si quieren ropa limpia vallan a la ross o burlington. Ya sabemos a lo que venimos es tienda de segunda mano. No critiquen

I was pleased to hear of the opening of a Goodwill Outlet (aka “The Bins”) in the Chicagoland area. This is not your typical Goodwill experience, be prepared to dig through literal mountains of clothing to find things you like.

I’m docking one star because of the parking lot. For the size of this place, the parking lot should be bigger. On a Tuesday late morning, every spot was taken and I had to park along the side of the lot.

Many people seem to hang around for hours for the rotation of the bins. When they bring out new bins, people wait until they are all out before digging through the new pile of clothing. People have multiple carts filled with items. Likely many are resellers, but you can still find some quality items, some even new with tags.

The items seemed to be about as clean as your average Goodwill store, but there were a lot of clothes with stains, which seemed more than average. Just make sure you inspect your items carefully and you’ll be fine. I would recommend visiting the Goodwill Outlet!

Went opening day and was crowded. Went back a few weeks later not as crowded. But be warned be careful where you are sorting through because you could have someone a bin over just tossing things into the pile you are trying to go through.
The employees are nice, the customers not do l so much.
And the complaints about nothing sorted. There's a reason why the clothes are priced by the pound. You have to try and find what you are looking for.
And no it's not more expensive than a regular good will. I got 3 shirts for under 2 dollars.(not 2 each but 2 all together) while the stores sell shirts for 3-5 dollars a peice

This is an outlet. It is quite clean for a thrift outlet. There are big bins of jumbled fabrics ( clothes and linens) bins of books bins of shoes ( not all matched). Bin on wares ( which means not clothing, linen, shoes or book). There are broken and damaged items. This is typical for outlets. Everything is priced by the pound. The biggest complaint for this location is they do not have cart scales so you have to unload everything onto counter scale.

Also there change bins on some I know schedule and during the switch everyone has to stay back away from that area until released by workers

It is important to be patient and polite. But you can find lots of cool stuff

Staff is super helpful and friendly. Tons of great stuff if you have the time and patience to search. There are some SUPER rude customers. In particular, a group of teen-20s guys who are regularly there and shove people and monopolize new bins, shoving all the products on top of you when you are trying to shop. If they kicked out the douchebags, the place would basically be perfect.
