Alpine Cafe

Stopped here with the family during alpine vag fair. Service was absolutely top notch!! I believe our host was Cody. Food wasn't out of this world, but was good none the less. Better than expected to be honest. Loved being able to sit roadside and watch everyone drive by given we were there for the show. Again, the service was incredible and efficient.

We originally planned to try another restaurant but opted to give Alpine a try. Our waitress was awesome & the food was great. I had the Colorado Omelette and was pleased. I’d just finished 6 days on the Appalachian Trail & this totally hit the spot!!

This little cafe offers breakfast until 2pm which was perfect for us since we wanted Sunday brunch. There’s a walk up coffee window or you can sit indoor or outdoor. Lots of shade and tables if you choose to sit outside and they are dog friendly and have water bowls outside.

We ate breakfast 2x this weekend at Alpine Cafe. The staff is absolutely amazing and the food was too! Sabrina our waitress made our son feel like one of her own. Constantly checking on him and making sure he was happy. At the end of breakfast Saturday morning he gave her a big hug. We returned on Sunday morning and she greeted him with the biggest hug. And our son had to see Sabrina again before we left.
Our waitress Sunday was her daughter Nevaeh was our waitress on Sunday and she’s awesome as well. Give huge props to Stephen the chef as well. We had an array of things to eat the 2 mornings we were there and they were all yummy and delicious.
Highly recommend Alpine Cafe. We will return when we’re back in Helen.

My experience at Alpine Cafe in Helen was very nice. I found it quite charming out on the deck. The menu had some interesting items and the meal I had was fantastic. The coffee was very good too. My server was appropriately attentive and very friendly. Seems to be family oriented here and there’s plenty to look at for the kids. Highly recommended.

The food and service was great! Would definitely come back here!

The French Toast was super....
Biscuits and gravy was a lot to eat but very good. Sausage and bacon a must have.
Coffee was good.
Waitress was Johnny on the spot.
Food was fast.

Our server was great! The food came out hot & delicious! We were both very satisfied with our choices! I got the everything omelette with just about every veggie you can think of! The country fried steak was a great portion!

We had such great time at the Alpine Cafe. We were having a hard time finding a breakfast place in Helen that did not have a long wait on mother's day weekend. We had a German Shepherd and a chiuaua and we knew it would be hard to find a place to accommodate us. We were planning to take a to go order, but Sabrina offered to put a table on a reserved outside area to accommodate us and our dogs. The staff was super helpful and quickly set up everything for us. Sabrina brought water bowls to our dogs and treated us like VIP clients. The service was spectacular from beginning to end, one of the best services we had in a while. The food and drinks were amazing. We order the country fried steak, James' pancakes and Josie's french toast and everything tasted great. Thank you for making this day so special!

Great food and coffee. Friendly staff. They took over the former Chimmi's so parking signs were confusing but plentiful! The pancakes and breakfast sandwiches were very good.

The breakfast here is amazing! The French Toast cinnamon roll plate is out of this world. The mimosas are fantastic. If you want a great wait staff then this is the place you want. All were very attentive and kind. I will always eat here when we visit Helen.

Sabrina will shower you with ✨LOVE✨ as soon as you walk in. Everybody is her "sweet babies" "hot mamas" and "sweet hearts"
Look, you can get breakfast anywhere an egg is an egg and theres coffee on every corner but you won't get the service as bright, vibrant, warm and sunny as the Alpine Cafe.
Meghan and the other girls running the front were just as sweet and attentive.
The cook is back there doing his THANG too.. I see you whipping that home made sausage gravy and putting your loving touch in those pancakes!
Y'all passed the vibe check for real.
We wont have breakfast anywhere else when we come to Helen.
Next we gotta try the New York style pizza everyone is talking about.

We ate here twice this weekend. Once for lunch and the next day for breakfast. The pizzas we had for lunch were really good. The eggs were perfect. The French Toast however was crazy big and fancy. Everything was great. The service, the staff, the wait, the food. Highly recommended.

This is my first time eating here and I really enjoyed the meal I ordered. The pancakes and homemade fries were great!

We were in a Helen, GA. Walked from my hotel to pick up breakfast! The service is awesome! They even have at the window to order coffee drink to go! The food was amazing and the service! Family owned ! We had the Colorado omelette and they was plentiful for 2 people. My son had the pancakes x3 and bacon. He could not finish it all because the size were big! They give plenty of food and the food was delicious! We will be back!

We had a delicious breakfast here this morning. Extremely friendly staff. Food was much better than I’d expected.. considering they were understaffed, and quite busy on a Sunday morning. Josie’s French Toast was AMAZING!! Bring your patience and understanding in these trying times for restaurants these days. In the end , the food was worth it! We’ll be back!

Service and food were above outstanding. Everything we had was delicious but the cinnabun french toast was out of this word! Definitely coming back!!

My husband and I stopped here for the first time the other day! We both had the omelet, it was delicious and very filling! We decided to stop today for lunch. So happy we picked this restaurant for pizza. Out of all the surrounding counties this was by far the best pizza we have had in a long time. It was perfectly cooked and will be the only place we go for pizza now!!! It's a must try. Support local 😊
