The Mason Jar was my favorite coffee spot when visiting Helen, GA!☕

If you love coffee + gelato, this one’s for you!

Atmosphere: The space is really small and cozy. I love the dark green accents and the shelving that held coffee beans and other items they had for sale!
Service: The workers here were constantly busy because there was always a line out the door! The experience wasn’t the most personable, but again, it could have been because of the busyness.
Menu items: The coffee here is SO good! I had the Maple Pancake latte with oatmilk 2x when I was on the trip and ended up getting blueberry cheesecake gelato when I was there. I love it when they put the little waffles on top!

There is also a store right next door that is associated with the coffee shop, so you can get some souvenirs while you’re in that area!

My first impression was wow this place is small! There were 3 customers at the counter when we came to the door. My friend and I could barely squeeze in to look at the menu, but the young man & woman working were so nice & very quick. We tried the salted caramel gelato and a cold brew coffee with cream & sugar. Both were excellent! I love the little cookie wafer they add to the gelato. Delicious & cute! The price was very reasonable compared to other coffee/ice cream type stores I have visited. The gift shop next door is also very nice with lots of handmade decor and art. They were also nice enough to give us empty cups with lids to set our gelato cups down into to take home when we couldn’t finish.

A tasty orange gelato shake in this one room coffee bar. You can easily walk by and miss this. But i recommend stooping by here if you are in Helen.

Great coffee and gelato! Perfect extraction times at around 22 secs. Staff will not hesitate to remake the drink if it’s not perfect. They will also make some drinks, such as a Cortado, that are not on the menu. I was quite pleased with my drink.

Wonderful staff and excellent coffee and Gelato. Andrew and Jerimiah were so helpful and accommodating. An absolute delight to deal with.

The coffee is absolutely amazing and a must!
I visited this small coffee and Gelato shop this past weekend (2/18/23) don’t let the size of the shop fool you their coffee has BIG flavor!! I had a hot toasted Marshmallow latte with oat-milk!! It was amazing and full of flavor and strong, not some over flavor milk like some places.
There is no inside seating but there are a couple of tables outside. I enjoyed mine while walking around downtown Helen though.
I will definitely be visiting again and recommend this shop!!

My daughter & husband enjoyed their Gelato. They got Black Forest & Passion Fruit.

The Mason Jar Coffee and Gelato was great. We each got a different flavor and we all enjoyed it. The waffle cone was nice too. I'm sure this place has a line a block long in the summer time.

Both my coffee and gelato were delicious and everyone was very friendly in both the shop and the store.

This place may be tiny but is full of flavorful options! The cold brew was very satisfying and the misses had the salted Carmel frappe which she ranted and raved about all day! Great place to get coffee and get your day started!

The prices start out a little higher here than usual coffee shops, but it was definitely worth it. The coffee was absolutely delicious and our whole group enjoyed theirs. I like the Iced Chai Latte and we will definitely come here again for coffee.

Haven't visited in a while; the interior has been freshened up and looks fantastic. I brought a friend on their first visit to Helen. She was very impressed with the service and quality - great representation of Helen! Thanks for an outstanding visit!

Sweetest staff with the best coffee! They have some really unique seasonal syrups and their coffees are absolutely beautiful. Definitely my favourite coffee in Helen!!

I work across the street and every weekend we get coffee here. The staff is super nice and friendly and the store itself is also. I always send people here for ice cream or coffee when they ask me, because I am a server and get asked a lot about Helen.

We loved the Gelatos here, passion fruit, and the cheesecake one were the hits! The price was fair and the staff was extremely nice and polite

The Mason Jar Coffee and Gelato shop is the ONLY place you need to go while in Helen, GA for your coffee & gelato fix! The coffee smell just pulls you inside. The owner of the business & his employee know how to take care of their customers. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We went each day, but he has customers that go twice a day! 😊 Please support this local business. The coffee beans are by a local business & the gelato is made by a local business for him too. ❣

I'm not the biggest coffee fan outside my own home, but the coffee was definitely delicious and the quality was phenomenal! I got the toasted marshmallow latte hot, it was just the perfect amount of sweet and coffee. Nothing over powered the other, just delicious coffee and delicious flavor. I would highly recommend this place if you are in Helen!

Affagato was soo damn good... I see now why this place is so crowded!
