This place is so much fun! I went with my nephews and we all had a blast. The prices are very reasonable. So many options for sets to rent and purchase. They even had a Duplo set for their younger brother. Lots of mini figs and pieces to purchase if needed. The bathrooms were super close and there is a party room. The owner is very nice and helpful. Can't wait to come back to play.

We were there when the doors opened today and ended up staying for over an hour! It was fun to "build" our own drinks, play with Legos, and check out the sets we might like to buy for presents or for ourselves. 😀 I love the concept and look forward to seeing this place grow.

Review from Mom: Awesome fun place. Really helps with imagination. Remember you are never too old to play.
Review from teen Son: Thumbs up. Building was fun. The selection of rental sets is quite a variety.
Review from teen Daughter: 5 stars. I really had fun. The sets were complete and I liked the variety of sets available. There was even stuff for the little ones to do. Would recommend.

This place is on the 1st floor Riverwalk if you go by elevator. It's inside the plaza area, near the foods & drinks area. Its clear glass & big sign will make it noticeable so you can't miss it. We went around 1pm so expect lots of kids, the noise level to be above your expectations. There's a sitting area as displayed by the other reviewer Gina, which is mostly always occupied by families but as for a couples, I think going into the separate room would be best as the noise level dwindles a bit. They have a small Lego shop there, selling the usual stuff you can expect like the Lego store in the Kenwood Mall.

It's bright, very decorative in painting & made Lego sets for display. I forgot the drinks name but we got one that was sprite, green apple syrup & blueberry puree in 1 (black color drink). 2nd drink was sprite, blueberry syrup (blue drink) which is the most requested drink & favorite for all customers. To me it was okay, not my favorite, I'm a sour guy so the first drink was my favorite but yet I have the rest to try.

You can rent to build their sets which is the whole point
$5 for Small 30 - 60 mins
$7 for Medium 90-120 mins
$10 for Large 120mins +
The time may be off a bit but in the general area, 2 of us took the medium & took 2 hrs to build so plan your day carefully.

We came for the Newport aquarium but our stay was infinity increased by the experience we had at the Brikery Cafe! Not only did we have a blast making builds we got to make our own soda mix and but rare minifigs after customizing our own. They told us of the other museums and local places that enriched our time in Newport. If we only went one place I would have chosen the Brickery Cafe and the family agrees. We will be making a return trip in the future.

Brooooo!! This place definitely lives up to the hype! The colors, ambiance, and atmosphere was so warm and inviting. The menu for choosing your Lego set was so easy because the sets are categorized by estimated build time! Genius!! We rented a 30 minute kit and built it then played with it. Our table had a bucket of Legos that we could use as well. We picked the Adventure Off-Road Ambulance and then used some pieces in the bucket to stage a road-side oil change service on the truck, see photos.
We bought some trail mix and bottled waters, and I bought a sticker for the windshield on my motorcycle.
My buddy Dan is the owner and inventor of this place and he made us a peach soda “mock-tale” and it was so good! He used peach purée to give it a really cool texture.
Definitely lives up to the hype.
Excellent spot for a first date.
Perfect way to bond with your friends and family!
Make new friends!

The Lego rent-a-build selection is immaculate, though I wish some builds had multiple sets stocked. Sets in the rent-a-build selection are on a “first come, first served” basis, so get here early for the best sets! Set prices range from $3-12, dependent on build time and complexity.

The café also acts as a small Lego store, with many sets, figures, and loose pieces for sale.

Stocked snacks include Lunchables, Sargento Balanced Breaks, and other small "lunch bag" treats and finger foods. The café also stocks several different bottled beverages, Monster energy drinks, and makes artisan fountain sodas (Try ‘The Benny!’).

Most importantly, the staff are some of the most kind-hearted people I have ever met. They have assisted my friend group on multiple occasions by providing a quiet party room to meet our sensory needs and checked in on our table several times during a complex build.

5/5 Stars, a must in Newport.

We came here for the first time and loved it! Two adults shared a ‘large’ kit and it took us about 40 minutes. Such an awesome date night spot (great music but not busy during the weeknight we stopped in) and budget friendly! The guys at the counter were helpful and the place was generally very clean and well-organized. We will definitely be back!

had the BEST experience here. the owner is a genuine person who loves the business and is passionate about making sure we know everything about the place. There’s a great selections on snacks and drinks plus the Legos rentals are soooo cool (you can choose small, medium, or large). my friend tried doing the small one (baby yoda jn a cradle) because we came in 1 hour before closing and it was so cute 🥰 next time i come back, i’ll try for a large lol!

What a great spot! They have created a fun and entertaining atmosphere that brings me back to my Lego building heyday!
Went with my son, 3YO, multiple times and each time have picked out new rentabuilds that have been thoroughly enjoyed.
Highly recommend, especially if you are looking for something to do on a cold or rainy day!

My partner and I came in today and bought a set, had a couple of sodas, and had such a fun time building. Of course, you can order Legos anywhere, but there is something nice about supporting a small business and making a date out of it!

Super nice owner and it's obvious this store is a passion project, there was a lot of love and thoughtfulness put into the store. I would recommend checking this out!!

The pure joy on my kids faces as they got to play and build says it all! This place is really cool. The owner is a super nice, friendly guy. It’s a great fun family place. The coffee is just brew/drip but good. The shop is cool. The atmosphere is fun. This is 100% a place we will frequent as a family! Love it!

We had so much fun at the Brickery Lego Cafe! The kids already want to go back! There was 2 families that went and everyone all agreed, it was 5 stars. The atmosphere, the service, the lego selection and the set up was awesome. We are so lucky to have this cafe here in Newport/Cincinnati. We are looking forward to going again soon! Definitely recommend!

We throughly enjoyed spending an afternoon here building some lego! The atmosphere is comfortable and fun. The owners were super kind. We did an option to pair a large build rental with a specialty soda and snack - honestly this is a great deal for a couple to share and work on their build together. Excited to see this place thrive and bring folks into Newport on the levee. We will absolutely be back and encourage friends to go visit!

Great place to stop for a snack and Lego Movie themed drinks. You can rent and build sets there with the kids, super cool idea! They also sell new and retired Lego sets. I will definitely be back again and again. My kids loved it!

I took my 3 & 5-year-old Lego obsessed boys and ended up staying for at least 2 hours! They have small, medium, and large sets to be “rented” for $3,$5, and $7, respectively, or you can make it a combo (drink and a snack) for $5 more. Each table has a bin of assorted legos where you can just sit and free-build, too. The owners were incredibly nice, even when my 3-year-old spilled his drink all over a rental kit, the instructions, the table, and the floor 🤦‍♂
Such a great concept! We’ll definitely be back!
