Dairy Queen

The new owners are fantastic. Met them at the soft re-opening. Very friendly people and they are a great addition to Bemidji. Our ice cream was perfect and we can’t wait to see what they do once they get settled. Excited for them to open the Grill & Chill on the other side of town.

Today, it was over 90° and humid. We needed a cool down. This Dairy Queen is tiny. There is not enough room to eat in, but they have benches and a picnic table. There were several people in line, and I assumed there would be a long wait. They had 2 walk-up windows and were surprisingly fast. We were there less than 10 minutes. People were happy about the speed and good ice cream treats. I will definitely go there again. Kudos to the owner and employees!!

Summer blizzard flavors are back! We had the Summer Berry Cheesecake blizzard, the Cotton Candy Blizzard and the Berry Cake Cupsation. Everything is always so good and the staff very friendly.

Busy place on opening day! It wasn't a long wait and the cashiers were fast & friendly.

This is a wonderful Dairy Queen location not only because of it's ice cream and staff, but also because of it's epic location. It is a great place to go to if you are in downtown Bemidji or walking around the lake. The view of the lake is great and the seating area is great. The staff are nice and make the blizzards and other ice cream products relatively quickly.

My kids' first time eating Dairy Queen (they've only ever had custard before). Fast and friendly, and great view of the lake.

This dairy queen has been here as long as I can remember. It seems funny to me that people would eat ice cream in such a cold place, but they seem to always have people there buying.

My experience with them has been great. Quality product just like any other Dairy Queen in the US.

This Dairy Queen is a summer staple for my family and I'm sure many others' as well. I've never been disappointed. You know what you're getting when you come here and whatever it is, it's going to be delicious.

Great service and, of course, delicious treats! They did forget to put the malt in my malt, but took care of it in an instant when I let them know. My wife's small Blizzard was almost twice the size of the container! Perfect stop on a hot day!

Now that the lake side is the only DQ left it makes me a bit sad I'll have to go for a drive in the winter months if I want any DQ but the fact that it is on the lake means you get a great view of the lake to go along with your ice-cream. The staff are great and so nice. Its also near Mc Donalds so if you get a burger or something else there but want ice-cream you won't have to rely on there ice-cream machine working because you can just go get a blizzard from DQ instead

This is a walk- up DQ with all the ice cream treats normally found on a DQ menu. Lakeside sitting makes the visit special. Delightful employees, efficient service and the brownie blizzard was delicious. Enjoy!

Our favorite hang out spot! They are clean about their space, they always have masks on (never even pulled under their nose) the icecream is worth every penny and the service is quick.

Perfect to come here on evening date and watch the sunset over town and look out on the lake. Nice to walk across the road and over to the lake shore too, saw a family of ducks nibbling around close to the sand.

Super helpful friendly staff. Offered to take a family pic outside. Cool treats were yum yum yummy. First time here since the 90’s. Fun to be back

Tried the sea salt truffle blizzard, was excellent! Fun to visit in the summer. For those of you coming to Bemidji to visit, they are right on the lake. Wonderful place in Bemidji!

I love going here. My kids love there ice cream and food.

Beautifully located near Lake Bemidji, Lots of outdoor seating. Very nice potted plants are aranged making it a sweet stop.

Small homely outdoor DQ. What else is there to say. Grab some ice cream or a dog and go to the park down the road. Great service.
