This place is awesome! I took eclipse in for an engine rebuild they did an amazing job. They updated me every step of the way with phone calls and pictures & videos. The job did take a bit longer than expected but its very understandable due to delay in parts and maintenance issues they had with the shop, things that are out of their control. The quality of the work was amazing they put a lot of passion into the work Goomba, Mark, and shop owner Ethel were awesome. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking good quality work the pricing is not cheap but its very reasonable.

I was sent here by a friend who has a Subaru as well and I couldn't have been happier with the work, cost, and friendlyness of the shop! These guys know their way around Subaru's! The workers are very nice and honest from the get go and keep you updated as work is completed which is nice. The turn around time was very quick and Mark who worked on my car even touched up my engine bay and made it look top notch after the car was done! The atmosphere is very family like and professional, which is refreshing. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an honest shop to have work done. I had Ethil do an engine replacement for me and it was done fast and perfectly! The shop is clean and organized, and you can tell everyone there is a professional who takes their work seriously while still being nice and approachable. This place can fix your beater or tune your racer equally well and all things between. I have had to have other work done and the shops recommended by Ethil have all been of the same caliber.

This is my go-to place for all things repair now, and I recommend it to anyone who needs work done.

I have been a returning customer/ client for years and years. Respect Auto has conducted Clutch installation, Transmission modifications/improvements, differential improvements, oil changes, custom battery relocation work, headlight restoration, brembo big brake kit upgrade with stainless steel brake lines, amongst other things, they had recently just completed a Electric Power steering system assembly installation onto my performance vehicle which has been such a drastic improvement from the obsolete hydraulic steering system.

This Team and organization has done great work, I have nothing but GREAT things to say about their professionalism, knowledge, presentability, competence, attention to detail and performance.

I took my 2014 Honda Accord there and Ethiel and his crew helped me out. From early morning to sunset he worked on my car by installing hubcentric spacers, and lowering my car by the millimeter to ensure a proper installation. They take serious pride in their work, and I will definitely be going back for more upgrades! Thanks dudes 👍

I took in my 300ZX TT and all i gotta say is their name says it all they are really respectful and one of the most honest mechanics I have ever seen around. Usually mechanics try to just brush you off and will not even make time for their customers, but I would like to say the owner Ethil waas more than accommodating. He took his time with my car, he went throughout my whole car and answered every single question I had and was very helpful when I needed a personal favor. By far the best and most honest shop in town. The owner is a true "Car guy" and has a vast experience from all makes an models. I bring all the hard stuff to Respect Auto Works and they get it done with a smile saving me money and time.

My rsx broke down and Respect Autos gave me different options on what I can do if I want to swap it out or get it rebuild and they got my car up and running asap. Making sure that everything is running properly. This is the only shop in Modesto that I will let work on my car. I fix my own car problems but whatever I can't do, it will definitely be fixed by them.

Probably the best place you can get your car fixed in the 209. I always go here to get my stuff done and they always do the best work. They're very accurate and informative about explaining the problem and what type of fix it needs. Great staff and great help. Will come again!

These guys are some of the most knowledgeable, and honest mechanics I've ever met. The business owner, Ethil, is patient and understanding. I've never had to make a return trip, or repair his work. He doesn't advertise, and gets his business mainly from word of mouth, but remains packed to the brim with work. This speaks VOLUMES. The world needs more people like Ethil, and his crew.

Man! A superb place. Beyond great! Always take my Z33 here and man, their work speaks for themselves. They also give you options when it comes to fixing a vehicle or parts of a vehicle. Highly .. Highly recommend this place. Love their work and honesty.

I took my 86 Thunderbird here for unknown issues and they were able to find and fix with great results. They even took a video of what they were doing and text it to me awesome people would recommend to anyone.

These guys are good at what they do I would always take my cars there if I can't figure out whats wrong with it . They would update me on all the progress of what they done even better he would take videos and show me which is a plus in my books . Grade A+++++++++ and they keep it 💯 with everything .
