Vitale's Delicatessen

I ordered two bagel sandwiches for breakfast. Bagels are fresh not the typical local cardboard, eggs were cooked nicely (not rubbery or burnt) and they use a generous amount of cheese. Owner was exceptionally personable and made my sandwiches perfectly to order. Wish I had known sooner I could get good bagels in this area! For the record they carry Boars Head cold cuts as well. I'll definitely be back to try lunch!

I accidentally ordered 12 hoagies from here instead of a similarly named place in Scranton. They delivered them to Scranton at no charge and all of the hoagies were excellent. I really appreciated them going out of their way to deliver and will definitely order from them again. Especially if I am out in the Poconos.

Excellent!!! We ordered here last night. Food was ready quickly, given our fairly large order. They were friendly but most important, the food was EXCELLENT!! Large portions and great quality!!

Great sandwiches. Best in the sounding area. If you want a good sandwich pass up the local pizza places. This is the place to go. I wouldn't send you to a deli to get pizza. I'm not going to send you to a pizza place to get a sandwich.
Service is quick too. Pleasant and friendly staff.

Oh my god! They're breakfast! Sandwiches and stuff are so good. I can't wait to try lunch and dinner items. Give them a shot. They are open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. they just opened this past Monday. In effort! Something tells me they're going to be busy. Please support the local business. It has been a long time since we've had anything like this in the area. Let's show them some love.

Absolutely phenomenal food! It's rare that I take one bite of something and decide that I have a new favorite spot, but that's what happened here. I'm originally from NJ, and I haven't had a sandwich this good since I lived there. Plus, the wide range of menu items means I'll never be short of something new to try either! So happy to have a spot like this in the Poconos.

stopped in for some Boars Head cold cuts. A pleasant surprise they have all the foods my family loves. Will definitely be back.

Got a 12 inch Italian that was definitely the best I've had sinced I moved to Poconos from outside Philly.Everything was fresh just perfect,an took maybe 5 mins after I ordered, definitely be going back!!!!!!

Consistently delicious breakfast sandwiches, just like they were made at a deli in NY. Nice selection of Boars head by the pound, various deli foods/salads and the imported bread (loaves, rolls, etc.) is authentic. So glad to have a good place local !

Really great sandwiches! Had the Texas Cheesesteak and Turkey with Bacon on Rye. The quality and quantity were both better than we expected. And these days we really can't say anything is cheap. But compared to other take out places. And considering the size and quality of their food. They are well worth the price. We will be going back often. I suggest you do to.

Best Italian hoagie I’ve had in my entire life. Little pricey but worth it!

Just had the Broccoli Rabe Grilled Chicken sandwich and I’m blown away by how fantastic it was. All of the flavors blended together beautifully and made for the best lunch I’ve had up here in years. This was my first time in and I guarantee it will not be my last. Cannot wait to try more from Vitale’s!

The best food around each sandwich is better than the next. Coming from NJ this deli is a much needed spot around here. Their raviolis are great also their vodka sause. BRAVO VITALS AND WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD.

Fiancé and I decided to try Vitale’s while running errands, I ordered a buffalo chicken sub and he got a cheeseburger with waffle fries and mozzarella sticks and woooow it was fantastic. Ive been looking for a good buffalo chicken sub since moving her three years ago, i can confidently say that it was the best ive had! The amount of meat and toppings they give you is incredible, and while i was shocked at how expensive it was, it was definitely worth it! We will definitely be back!

Just got this place for lunch! Me and my boyfriend split a Cuban and The Effort which was a reuben and it was delicious!!! Love the bread, and they are so generous with this potion for the price. Definitely going to be my go to place :)

So happy to have found this deli. This is definitely going to be our new go-to spot. Sandwiches and salads are fresh, flavorful and delicious.
