I had a great time here. It’s more of a hangout place then a grab and go place but the vibe is great. There’s board games and a fair bit of seating. A bookstore is right next door.

As far as food it’s mostly coffee. They can heat some of their packaged baked goods or make avocado toast. But I recommend the raspberry infused coffee that I drank. This place is dog friendly and has wi-fi.

Superofficial always has the most creative and delicious coffee drinks. My favorite is the espresso egg cream, but that was on a previous season's menu. They're always coming up with something new! Welcoming, friendly vibe, so much art to look at and very cool people hanging out there. When in Rome!

Superofficial very quickly became my favorite spot after my first visit, which was shortly after they opened. The staff and regulars are friendly and the atmosphere is so inviting.
I love to hang out and work on my art, chat with friends, and make new ones.
The menu has something for everyone! I'm a huge fan of matcha lattes, and Superofficial does them right. The Toasted Marshmallow Matcha Latte is my absolute favorite. You can never go wrong with a cappuccino, either.
The owners take so much pride in what they do, and it shows. I'm so grateful to have a shop like this in Rome!

My partner and I stopped here on our way home from the Adirondacks and we will now be adding it as a pit stop every time we're in the area! Exceptional service and delicious drinks.

I always say "America may run on Dunkin, but librarians run on Superofficial". Definitely my and several of my coworkers favorite coffee shop! The drinks and snacks are always unique and delicious and I have never had a bad experience with anything I've purchased from the shop. The staff are friendly and always have great recommendations on days where I can't make a decision! Also they've gotten to know me and my dietary restrictions and often they make my drink with non-dairy milk before I can even mention it. It's awesome that they don't upcharge for oat milk like so many other places do!

The atmosphere is great and the shop really encourages you to hang out for a while. The art gallery is always fun to explore while I'm waiting on a drink or snack!!

The events are always super fun and make me smile. It's not just a coffee shop, it's an amazing community space where my friends and myself feel instantly welcome.

A friend brought me to this shop while I was visiting from out of town, and WOW. I’m not a coffee drinker, but we ended up ordering coffee after coffee because each seasonal flavor was better than the next and we needed to try them all. The space, the staff, and the sweets (from Always Sonny) were all AMAZING, and John was so much fun and took amazing care of us. It was honestly an absolute joy spending my morning here and I didn’t want to leave. 10/10 experience, and I would drive another 5 hours again and again to visit this place!

This little gem in Rome, NY is way over due. The automosphere is welcoming and cozy. It’s got a slightly retro vibe with the color pallet and the walls are covered in beautiful art work for sale from local artists. They have art supplies for sale (support local). The staff is wonderful a friendly! Also super knowledgeable about the menu. The drinks are superb. They have a variety of pastries to choose from, all of which are delightful. I can’t recommend this place enough.

This small, coffee shop shared space with one or two craft boutiques and at the time I was there, had a large, sleepy grey mastiff lounging on the floor as a small group of adventurers enjoyed a game of D&D. Quite a cozy, eclectic atmosphere! This was one of the best iced americanos that I had on my entire Empire State Trail biking experience. Yes, it was so nice that I ordered it twice!

I tried the white raspberry pistachio latte on my first visit and thought it was so good that I made a returning trip to get another. They offer milk alternatives which is great so I opt for oat. The owner is really nice and adds to the already great experience your latte will bring you. I will definitely be returning again! 🤩

I'm visiting from Florida and my friends brought me to the coffeeshop downtown. The menu had great variety without being overwhelming, the service was fast and friendly, and most of all the coffee was delicious - they make a great latte. With the art shop inside, there is lots to look at while I enjoyed my coffee and conversation. The owner was there and very nice. I highly recommend!

One of the best coffee shops you’ll ever visit, clearly a lot of care goes into the entire experience: the cool space, the excellent service & the crafting of specialty drinks. The passion for quality and knowledge from staff is outstanding. Bonus points for sharing the space with an art gallery, which also sells beautiful items! It’s a must visit, definitely try the espresso drinks!

Stopped here while passing through Rome after a quick google search for an afternoon pick-me-up. Superofficial more than delivered! Nested inside of an art gallery-like shop is this one-of-a-kind cafe. I tried the limone italiano gabbugeen (a summer lemon latte of sorts) and was mind. blown. It was amazing! The others in my party got a supa-sprola (coffee made to reminisce a cola, also from the summer menu), drinking chocolate, an aerocano (espresso magically turned into a nitro cold brew almost??), and an iced malted mocha. What was even better than the amazing drinks was the customer service! We hoped to stop by again on our way back south a few days later but were so sad to see that they were closed Sundays. If I ever find myself in Rome again I will certainly be returning!

Come for the coffee, stay for the vibes. Supeeofficial is by far the best coffee shop you can find in Rome and in my opinion the surrounding area. The quality of the product is absolutely astounding, the menu is well curated and filled with hand crafted drink ideas fitted for the season as well as a good handful of staple items that will always have you coming back for more. If you haven't been to superofficial yet, do it right now. And if you already know about this super gem of a super shop, go again.

This place was INCREDIBLE. We were visiting from NC and we are always looking for a good coffee shop. This place surpassed our expectations!!!! The owners were so kind and intentional with every detail. Good coffee, amazing food, great aesthetic, and beautiful art. We will be coming back every time we are in NY!!!!!

I can't rave about Superofficial enough. On top of your normal coffee shop selection, they offer skillfully crafted specialty drinks and an impressive selection of tea. They take action to build community and are welcoming to all. Do yourself a favor and become a regular.

Superofficial is truly my favorite place in Rome. The staff and their quality of service are top tier, and the new food menu is amazing! The turnt puffs changed my life- last time I was in I had to get 3. The atmosphere of superofficial is unlike any other and I'm so lucky to have found this little gem!

superoffcial is what Rome has needed for a long time. Jon and Caitlin are always serving up the best coffee & drinks in CNY. I love my daily cappuccino and always look forward to seeing familiar faces when I come here. Jon's menu is fun and has something for everyone. Come for the coffee, stay for the atmosphere! The toasted marshmallow matcha was fantastic along with the turnt puff! So good, definitely will go again! The environment was awesome, I felt an amazing sense of belonging and the staff was super friendly. Such a cool community!

All I have to say is WOW. The owners are delightful and bring a warm presence to the area of Rome, the coffee beans are fresh, and the local art brings out an aspect of Rome that is sorely underrated and under represented. It's nice for once to NOT have a cup of sour coffee. Fantastic products from the cafe!

Love the spicy everything bagels -- what a nice addition! Definitely the best bagels around, hands down.

**UPDATE - THEY HAVE HOT DOGS, I love and appreciate the many events they keep up with on a frequent basis. This time was an outdoor bbq with many unique homemade hot dogs and burgers. Keep up the great work 🤙🏻
