Gold Canyon Cafe

My husband has been popping in to the cafe for breakfasts while we are down visiting in the area and telling me how great it is….
So we finally had time to stop in together and I was so impressed!
Atmosphere is great! They have the art/photography of a local artist on the walls for sale! I love that ! It definitely has that friendly neighbourhood cafe feel ! Our server was welcoming, cheerful, willing to share about the menu and items she would recommend in such a down to earth and authentic way. We had the Taco Salad & crazy amazing burger that I can’t remember the name of…. both were fresh & delicious! As other peoples food was going by, everything looked crazy good ! I think I might have to stop in for a Croissant Sandwich!
What a gem of a restaurant! So glad I didn’t just let my hubby keep it to himself !

Great service, great food. The beer battered dish is awesome, as well as the burgers. Their new pretzel buns are delicious, too. Also had the fish tacos, which were excellent! Good prices on cocktails, and lots of solid tap choices. Kaylee took great care of us.

Dive bar feel but quality food with large portions. The taco salad is served in a huge, fresh made, taco shells bowl! The wait staff was very friendly too.

What wonderful food, and so much of it. But we came on a day when it seemed like all the machines - orders to the kitchen, etc. that decided to make it very difficult to get orders out. But where service is concerned, we had a great waiter once we got past the hostess area which was very unfriendly, no welcome or smile. The wait time was also very long we were told it would be 15-20 minutes, actually 45 minutes. But I do understand why people rave and why it is so packed it is the only breakfast restaurant in Gold Canyon. We will try again only because the food was good.

Fine food offered from a wide-range of reasonably-priced breakfast options, served fast by a friendly staff in a lively atmosphere. Enjoy!

Busy for a Monday with one hostess and one server/bartender, both were very personable yet professional. Our food was just as amazing as the service! Fantastic portions, especially for the value and their fries are the best I've found in the area.

Reminds me of home. Great local joint that serves breakfast all day. Loved their turkey cranberry sandwich on croissant and yummy sweet potatoes fries. They're breakfasts address also amazing. Portion sizes can last me fort several meals!

My wife and I have enjoyed eating here of and on for 4 years. Nice small restaurant with good homemade fare. They have very popular daily specials. Mon is pot roast and Tue is meatloaf. Both are delicious. My wife loves their Rachel sandwich 🥪

Service was great. Ordered the Philly Benedict with a side of potatoes. Eggs were cooked perfectly, meat was seasoned well. The potatoes were a bit overcooked but doesn't take away from the overall experience. Coming back again.

Small family owned restaurant, with obviously home made, very delicious food! The Holly Burger was epic! Hand breaded chicken tenders were drool worthy! Fresh fruit, great fries. And the atmosphere was relaxed but fun. Friendly service. Highly recommend and we will return!

Our party of three all experienced different menu options and all of us gave five stars. The hostess and server were personable and friendly. Can’t wait to return!

We chose this Cafe because my son, his girlfriend and I had been to my grandsons Marine graduation the day before. I live in Mesa and he had to go to Florence,so Gold ,Canyon was a halfway point to meet so his grandpa could visit with him ,so we chose Gold Canyon Cafe.
What a nice place, food was delicious, and service was great!! Our server was very nice as well!! And they had clean restrooms (always a plus) . We probably stayed in overstayed a bit but they were very nice!!
I'd highly recommend the food, service and atmosphere!!

This place is great and the food is a great price the portions are huge the staff are kind and you can even get to go boxes. There's nice art around the walls, I highly recommend checking this place out!

Food is always great here. "Down home, home cooked" types of meals. It's not fancy, reminds me of those great little family-owned restaurants in the midwest. It stays busy so that speaks volumes for the food.

Everything we ordered was delicious and we had fast and friendly service.

Nice place, foods always great!! Home cooking quality and quantity! Not enough room on the option site to pick out a favorite dish because every time it's been great, breakfast, lunch or early dinner.
Nice comfortable atmosphere with a Cafe feel. Music...did I mention music? Probably the best low volume background music to relax and enjoy!

We had to wait 20 minutes, but the wait was worth it. Yhe food is great and plenty of it. Our server was quick and very happy person. We enjoyed it.

We went for breakfast. The service was on point and the food was delicious. I had the spinach and feta omelet and there was no shortage of spinach!! We will definitely go back

Always amazing food and service. My family moved to Gold Canyon several months ago and the Gold Canyon Cafe has become our favorite restaurant. It's clean, food is always fresh and properly cooked. Also appreciate them having a kids menu.
