Chilton Mill Brewing

Every beer I have tried here has been delicious. I have enough confidence in the quality and flavors of the beers to try styles that I otherwise typically do not enjoy. My husband and I have gone to many breweries both in the area and in other areas and Chilton Mill remains our favorite.

In my opinion they have the best, most consistent high quality beer in NJ. I can not remember a single pour that I tried that wasn't excellent. That even goes for styles I usually don't care for. Highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed. The team that owns/works there are great people who are friendly and always willing to talk beer.

Great beers, fun atmosphere, spotless taproom, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Nothing more to want in a small brewery.

Mike is such a nice and personable guy he makes coming here an absolute joy. Couples retreat is a hop head’s dream and both my gf and I loved the prugna sour. Thumbs way up for this local brewery!

Great little brewery tucked away in a shopping center, small but mighty

Rotating selection of several outstanding beers. Styles include: Belgian triples, double IPAs, farmhouse ales, German and others. I pick up a couple of growlers per week, which keep quite well in the refrigerator if we don’t drink right away. This beer is so fresh and robust tasting you won’t want store bought again.

In almost two years I've never had a bad beer. Plain and simple. There is Always something new on tap and their lineup is excellent and seasonal appropriate. Go in three times and the owner will know you. Always a good atmosphere. It is unfortunate that more people don't know about Chilton because the quality of their beer easily outstrips all other breweries in the surrounding areas.

The best beer in the area, which is saying something given the quality of Czig and other brewers.

Fantastic beer, awesome staff, great atmosphere. We love going to Chilton Mill. We’ve been customers since the beginning and have never been disappointed. Best beer in the area by far. There is a lot of love and attention put into what they do. Definitely worth visiting if you’re into beer!

I’m hard pressed to name a beer I haven’t liked from this place. Every variety from their mouth watering IPA’s, farm ales, gose, well balanced sours to lagers and Belgians are made to exacting standards. These people know what they’re doing and it doesn’t hurt that they are great people. Get there!

My only criticism is that they decide to close and go on vacation….How dare they do this. I guess there will be a lot of us sitting outside next week wondering what to do. Seriously best variety of beer from a small batch brewery that focuses on quality releases and not mass distribution. Hands down great IPAs form Hazy to west coast. They have new releases every week of all styles and a rotation of favorites that make their way back in. Owners and staff are personable and fun making it a very welcoming place to have a pint and listen to music. I look forward to their Octoberfest as always! Every time we come to Chilton we are greeted with the following: tasty new beers to try, friendly staff, cool atmosphere and great live music. They have something for every pallet - IPAs to stouts to fruity tarts and something in between. Ask for a recommendation and they won’t steer you wrong. We stop at brewery’s during our travels and nothing compares to Chilton Mill!

Listen if you like small breweries and really good beer you need to visit this place asap. The view from the patio is pretty good too.

Great beer selection! Range from non IPA dark/light or fruity beers to levels of hopped up IPAs. Crowler (32 oz can) machine goes whirrrr.

Always a great time. Mike and Lauren are great hosts, and the beer selection and rotation is always on point! I have never NOT found a beer that i enjoyed. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!!!

Awesome beer - very nice selection that rotates consistently, wonderful, friendly service (they are always open to explaining what’s on tap and giving recs), and great place to hang out for an afternoon or evening. Merch is really beautifully designed and is high quality. Definitely one of my favorite spots to hang out.

Great brewery, with nice outdoor seating area. Perfect set up, easy to maintain social distancing. Really good beer, so good, was hard to get back on the bike to continue bike and brew ride lol! I ordered the pilsner, lightly hopped, refreshing crisp cold beer on this hot, hot, day. Hubby had Belgian triple, absolutely delicious, exactly what you are looking for when you order a Belgian beer. Will definitely go back again.
