Everything was so good and the waiters are really nice! Get the northern salty tofu soup with you tiao for breakfast. Pork intestine noodle soup and spicy seaweed were also good.

Not sure why this places gets so little love as the food is very above average and the service is quick and efficient. Definitely come for the youtiao. The soy milk is a little disappointing as the soy bean flavor isn’t very present but still a pleasant drink. Portions are fairly generous but a little bit pricier than some of their competition. If you’re missing Taiwanese breakfast, this is definitely a good choice.

Love this place! Their service is quick and the food is delicious! The food taste so fresh and not greasy. The server told us the chefs wake up at 4am and start cooking so everything you eat is made fresh daily. We got their sweet tofu soup (made with ginger and peanuts, not sweet), the salty tofu soup (wasn't salty), the Chinese donut, egg onion pancake, the leak turnover(looks like an empanada has egg leak and green onion inside), and the beef roll. We also got their house made pastry to go. Servers are friendly and accommodating. Although this is a Mandarin speaking restaurant/community, they do speak English. So don't be shy and stop by.

Traditional Chinese Breakfast! Yum!

Everything is tasty except the beef rolls. Go to Noodle Street in Pasadena for beef rolls. The beef rolls here are not crispy and taste bleh (and spice is added without consent).

There is a good amount of parking and gets oddly crowded even in the early morning.

Pricing is very affordable!

You will not regret 🥰.
The very traditional Taiwanese breakfast with some twists.
Chinese donut, 油條,油条, is much bigger than regular size in Taiwan or mainland China.
Soy pudding, 豆花,豆腐脑, is northern Chinese style with mushroom, black fungi (wood ears) and eggs. Very very tasty, you can dip Chinese donuts in here.
Tofu threads, 乾絲,干豆腐丝, is well made with carrots and celery. Great to balance the whole meal.

They have so many other Chinese style breakfast items, I will come back to try more🥰

This a great place for some Taiwanese/Chinese breakfast. They serve buns, congee, Chinese donuts, Chinese pancakes, stinky tofu, noodle soup and more for breakfast. Everything is made in house and fresh in the morning.

Cash only and you probably would need to speak some Mandarin.

This place offers pretty authentic Taiwanese breakfast. Also, their dish was not either too greasy or salty. Recommend

Food was good, I got a bowl of soymilk, it was deliciously warm. The crispy pork chops was delicious, not overly salty, just right. The leek pancakes was really good too. Overall, a good experience, will definitely come back.

Came here pre-pandemic for some authentic youtiao with soymilk, went back just today because I was really craving it again. Just as good as before, you can't really beat youtiao from a Taiwanese breakfast place (and I go to Banh Mi Che Cali all the time lol). Now they have smartphone ordering which is great, because I know no Mandarin and my Cantonese is rudimentary (and that's being generous).
Also got a rice roll with egg as well and it made me so nostalgic. I want to eat like 7 of them. But I was full after 1 youtiao and the soymilk - I even shared the youtiao with a friend.

The best of the valley! Salty soy milk with the curllers (rice rolls) was delicious! The donuts were huge and not sugary at all. The scallion pancakes were excellent. The spice beef noodle soup really hit the spot for me. It had a nice kick and the beef pieces were not fatty and had some nice chewy tendons attached. This soup will wake you up and get you going! Kids loved the chicken porrage, fighting for more. So I had to order an extra bowl of the porrage, which you can dip the donuts. The Beijing yogurt was refreshing with the spicy meal. The dumplings were pretty good, too. The hugh bun that had everything in it was very satisfying. I can't wait to go back for more...

Update: Yes, I returned. #9 was great! #9 was rice roll wrapped in a saran wrap. Sesame noodles had a nice kick and flavor. Leek cake was very leeky. Great place for breakfast anytime!

Top-notch quality Chinese breakfast for excellent prices! The service is quick, and the food is authentic and delicious. I highly recommend the salted soy bean milk, twister cruller, and the baked turnip cake.

Great oily sticks but it is a bit pricey now. Salted soy milk was mid.

Delicious food for cheap and affordable prices! Ordered chicken and egg porridge ✅, chinese donut (super crispy and flaky) ✅, and beef noodle soup ✅ (broth very fragrant!). Will come again when I visit San Gabriel Valley the next time I’m in the area.
