El Nopal Mexican Restaurant

Visited from SC and this place was awesome! Great food, good service, great margaritas. The restaurant was really clean too!

So yummy!! The margaritas were ok, but the tacos were amazing!! We got the Juan’s tacos, which were steak, chorizo, onions, and cilantro. They were so delicious!! We also got a plate with 4 of the street tacos, chicken, steak, carnitas, and chorizo. All of them were delicious! We’ll definitely stop by next time we’re in Adairsville!

My fiance and I ate a delicious and simple meal today, and will be back. I've been to the one in Calhoun, but though this one is a bit further it will be well worth the time and effort.

Update May 24:
My Steak Ranchero was overcooked, and the rice was tasteless. However the beans were okay. My 1/2 sweet and 1/2 unsweetened lce tea was one of the better ones I've had. My fiancé had a taco salad with beef, and a beef burrito, and both were delishous.

I spoke with the manager about this and he would have had me a new meal if I wanted he would have given me a whole new meal. What we ended uo with is we did not have to pay for the steak.

Now we've been in rhe Adairsville location a few times since my first review, and my meals were perfect. I figure the grill cook was having a bad day. I've had the steak before and never had one like this. We will go back.

Takeout late tonight as we pulled into Adairsville. Because we travel with a small dog, often our only option is takeout back to the motel room. El Nopal was a pleasant surprise! Really quite delicious! The guacamole was stellar, our fajita taco salads yummy, and they included an entire lime in our order because I asked for some lime to squeeze on my salad. Usually restaurants only give you a couple of little slices. Thank you for more than accommodating this hungry and weary couple! Great job!

The salsa was not as hot as most like...I loved it! They were not very busy so the long wait for drinks was hard to understand. The even longer wait for our food order was a little excessive. I like the salsa well.enough to give them a second try. It could have just been a night when someone didn't show up for their shift. All hands there were definitely working.

Kind, courteous and inviting staff. Reasonable pricing, good food. Just need to update information to reflect this place as [no longer El Nopal] but BLUE AGAVE MEXICAN 🇲🇽 RESTAURANT

Nice place for family dinner or couples, good atmosphere, for me was very clean.
Good job my hat off to all the personnel working at the restaurant. Hope the owner apprised the hard work and dedication .

Food is exemplary. Love eating here. Their food is so popular that they stay very busy. This makes eating here a little noisy and claustrophobic. The staff are great and accommodating. No complaints on this store. We love their food!

Awesome service and great food! Got the fajitas for two, and there were generous portions for both of us. Good chips and salsa too!

I would never have thought to consider ordering chicken wings until a friend HIGHLY recommended them. They are incredible...the finish, bite and sauce was so perfectly balanced! Try their wings! You won't be disappointed 😁

Absolutely love this place since new ownership started recently! They have live music which is totally what I’m sure everyone wanted in this small town! The food has gotten so much better! The live music just reminds me of a local bar that we obviously don’t have but close enough!!

My waitress was amazing 🤩, the food was excellent as always! And it's affordable, plus during the week between 11 and 2 you get free soda with your meal! How do you beat that?!

This place was great. Brought whole family here for the first time. The food was fantastic. Food was hot and fresh. Our waiter Ivan was awesome and did a fantastic job. He was very helpful when ordering and accomiddacting to ours needs with the children. They had a big selection of meals and drinks. Will definitely be going back to this restaurant. Recommend this place to anyone. Very good.

I attended a wedding where the caterer just flat out didn’t show and told us they couldn’t do anything when we called. El nopal saved the wedding so short notice and fed 50 people. Everyone was very grateful. I would give them 10 stars if I could

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant EVER! EVER EVER! Really really? Really really. Great prices, seriously good food, fantastic salsa with the chips. Every dish I've had has been amazing. Seriously though... Mexican is my favorite food and I can't get enough of this place. Steak Burrito Jumbo baby!

Recently moved to this lovely town, and decided to take visiting family here. Food was delicious, service was impeccable, and prices were great. Will definitely return.

Taco salad was good but y'all need to add refied beans to them it gives them a better taste your tomatoes should be chopped up not sliced. Your wait staff needs a update on keeping the drinks full at tables and removing empty dishes to get them out of the way. Other than that everything was wonderful. The reason I have commented this I know what it takes to work in a restaurant and how food should be prepared.
