Strang Hall

One of our favorite places when everyone wants something different. Lots of variety from Chef driven restaurants. Favorites include Bahn Mi, Brie and Apple Sandwich and great tacos. It's similar to an adult food court but kids (and dogs in the outside space) are welcome. Lots of seating indoors and out. Offers a full bar and even a private space.

I went to a 5 coarse chef dinner at Fenix on Monday 1/15. To those who have never had an exclusive 5 course meal or tapas at that matter, each dish is portioned exactly how course meals are supposed to be and that is to be satisfied and not full. Which is exactly how I felt by the end and I weigh about 210lbs if that helps. When it was time for 5th and final course (dessert), I had the perfect amount of space in my stomach left for it. They had a classy atmosphere with soft subtle jazz music playing. As for the food, I think 75 per person is a deal compared that of places that do a similar style of dining (small plate/tapas) around the KC area. You could tell each dish was meticulously arranged and that each ingredient served a purpose and wasn’t just thrown on for visual appeal. Every flavor hit and they were even able to compensate for food allergies. Over all, I would highly suggest you get tickets anytime one of these meals are presented over at Strang Hall. Chef Chad did an exceptional job and would rate this dinner and experience with 3 claps and a Rick Flare. (5 Stars)

I love this place because there is something for everyone. We had friends visiting and instead of picking something everyone had to like, I went the route of everyone having plenty options. Great fun casual atmosphere. I’d say all the food is good. I went with tacos from Fenix: two pescado frito and one hot chicken. DELICIOUS. Beware, the hot chicken definitely has extra kick from the jalapeño but personally I love it. I definitely give them points for originality in their flavor. We shared the brie fondue from Norcini which we enjoyed as well. Everyone in my group left a happy camper. I’ve always been satisfied with the bar staff as well. They have a nice courtyard area for when the weather is nice too. This is a place we love to frequent.

It's kind of like a mall atmosphere that has multiple places you can eat in one. You order from any place you want and you get a text message when your food is ready. Easy enough. I've been twice now and the food has been great each time.

An awesome place for family gatherings, happy hour with friends, or simply just hanging out with your partner! This upscale food hall place has so many choices of food to choose from various restaurants from East to West! American to Asia food.

There are options to sit inside or outside. The turf grass outside is good to let young kids run around while adults eat.

I would recommend ordering and paying for food from your phone and it will tell you the estimated time when the order is ready. Once the food is ready, you will receive a text to pick up food at each restaurant.

Parking is along the street. No reservation will be taken here.

VERY neat atmosphere! Totally the type of place you'd go to after work with some friends to grab a bite and a drink. I was there on Taco Tuesday, so of course I got tacos. They were having a special, 3 taco's for $10. The tacos were so good, I had to try the pizza! No lie, I went to the next stand over and ordered a pie. Let me tell you, it was amazing! Everything was. I can't wait to visit town again and visit Strang Hall.

Always an amazing selection, no matter what you are craving. Perfect for families or groups who may want different types of cuisines. Atmosphere is great...well organized and clean. Outdoor space and great cocktails are bonuses!

There is a Strang Hall Insiders Facebook page where the individual restaurants post specials and featured menu items regularly. Definitely worth joining the group.

Amazing concept. Perfect spot if nobody can decide what kind of food to get. There are a variety of different cuisines available here and we went twice in one week. As a warning, the Birria quesadillas are served with a chunky red salsa not a consome so if you are a fan of authentic Birria this should be a pass. Other than that the rest of the food was frankly delicious.

Really cool concept! Food was good! Ordered from two different spots to test it out! I had the beyond burger with slaw, and the chips a guacamole. Nothing was standout, but done well. I did have a cocktail too! My friends was wayyyy better, but I don’t remember their names sadly.

Love this place! The concept and vibe are inviting, open, and aesthetically pleasing. The food court approach (although this is far trendier than a typical food court) gives lots of flexibility for dietary needs and different food options. I enjoyed the Bun Rice Noodle Bowl from Anousone it’s a bonus that Gluten and dairy free with zero modifications! It had such delicious flavor. I got the curry chicken and would definitely order again. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful delight of culinary experiences. I had the small pizza and salad combo from Solstice. Very tasty and super fresh. I was very happy with my choice. I got to choose up to three toppings for my pizza and several options for salad. I had the ceaser, sooo freaking good. Can't wait to go back and try another spot.

I absolutely adore Strang Hall. Each visit has been wonderful. It truly offers something for everyone and is perfect for large work groups due to its ample space. Additionally, the outdoor area is fantastic for kids to play and run around in. Today, we indulged in some delectable sushi from Tora Zushi and tried out the food from Fenix Taco, both of which were absolutely delicious. The staff at both eateries were incredibly friendly and provided excellent assistance in choosing our orders. I highly recommend trying the birria quesadilla if you're new to Strang Hall - it's simply amazing! I'm already eagerly looking forward to my next visit.

We've ordered this online numerous times during the pandemic and finally wanted to go in and actually try it. The food is amazing. We have tried 4 of the restaurants and all have been amazing! Can't want to go back to the the other 2! It's like a mall food court that grew up and went to culinary school, and now it's sophisticated, classy, fresh, and delicious!

We were not sure what we wanted for lunch, nothing ordinary for sure. This is the place! It has some thing for everyone! It is like you pulled 6 of the best Food Trucks in the country into a building! Variety is what you will find here! Food was all delicious. Eating area was as clean as you could get. The Margaritas were on point. The court yard was huge and had tables. The yard was green and well taken care of and had lawn games to play! Eat inside or outside you choose! Everyone at all the restaurants were super friendly!

Great new concept in Overland Park with a variety of food choices, easy ordering and wide selection of drinks with high ceilings and a cool interior. Love the outdoor game and conversation area lit with lawn lights at night.

This is the perfect addition to this up-and-coming neighborhood, but I would love to see more distinct attention on plant-based options both for the prevention of chronic disease so rampant in this country, and the protection of the planet - job one for anyone concerned about the future.

I’ve been here a handful of times. The food was delicious 🤤 every visit. It’s like a food court with multiple restaurants. The place was very clean. Parking was so so. I’m not too familiar with the area and parking around gets full. It’s free parking. Overall, I enjoy coming here and love the different food options. I would recommend this place.

We had a company dinner here and it was a really great idea!! The food was great and having options to choose from was the best! Very reasonable prices and really great quality! The staff was super friendly and genuinely kind. They explained how everything worked for people who had never been there and the wait for FRESH food was minimal!

So this is a neat place. Perhaps a modern fusion cafeteria I would say. There are a good selection of different cuisines plus a bar at Strang Hall!! Believe it or not, Fenix wings are the best we have had in years. The flavors and heat are just right. The meat is tender and skin slighly charred .. Let's just say we are impressed and surprised with these wings!!! A crispy pork belly bahn mi sandwich from Anusone is also quite tasty and worth mentioning. Tora's grilled eel rolls and Norcini's pizza will quiet your hunger and craving for sure. You gotta give it a go.

PS. If you like pretzels, try Norcini's pretzel bites. It comes with delicious beer cheese sauce!! YUM!!

Strang Hall has become our core spot for family almost every get-together we plan last minute. There are usually 8 to 15 of us, depending on the occasion, and Strang has always been able to accommodate us without worrying about a reservation. When it comes to food, there is something for everyone and every restaurant has great food! The outdoor spot is fun for everyone, and I hesitate to give such a positive response because I'd rather keep this gem all to myself. Enjoy!

I really liked the variety of food available here at Strang Hall. I had the Mac and Cheese from Norcini. It was delicious - super cheesy! This is a great place to meet friends for food and drinks! I also enjoyed the open atmosphere. There was plenty of room to sit and plenty of space in the nearby parking garage.
