Liv’s Cafe & Deli

This place is awesome!! One of my favorite little spots on the eastern shore. It’s a cute tucked away cafe with incredible sandwiches. Plenty of healthy options, gluten free options, matcha, fresh greens, their frappes are to die for. Enjoy it all on their quaint little window seat. I do wish the back patio matched the cozy vibe/aesthetic of the front area, but how cool that there’s a hidden back patio? Easily the best option for anyone passing through the shore who doesn’t want to take the detour into Cape Charles. It’s a pit stop you’ll actually look forward to.

Liv’s does the most beautiful charcuterie boards that I’ve seen in a long time. The presentation was top notch and reminded me of the detail that goes into finger foods that you’d find on a cruise or other high end event.
Our guests were thrilled with her catering.

You'll find delicious food that's freshly made at Liv's! They also have a great coffee selection and some neat snacks, sauces, and seasoning mixes you can pick up for making your own delicious food at home. This is such a cute spot!

The "Cedar" is easily one of the best sandwiches I've ever had.

Really good sandwiches and salads. I’ve tried the Parramore (sandwich) and the Godwin (salad). Both are great, but I must accentuate the Godwin: it is sooo good. Really fresh ingredients, a decent portion size, they put a generous amount of meat in the salad, and they custom make their ranch dressing (make sure to ask for ranch with it if you want ranch).

The owners are very friendly. Wholesome, family owned, local business that I’m glad to support.

I can’t say enough positive things about Liv’s Deli. The talent alone speaks volumes and is backed up by the professionalism and helpfulness from the owner to all the staff. I ordered a charcuterie board for a family reunion following our wedding. I purposely didn’t pick anything out to see what they came up with and it was beyond anything expected. The detail and quality was impeccable and enjoyed by everyone. I am so happy to have such a great local business and will be highly recommending them whenever to whoever for any and all events. Thank you to Liv’s for making the the little details of the day so special!

Great service, friendly people and tasty food. Stopped on the way through for lunch. Got the parramore and hog sandwiches and some pasta and potato salad. Everything was delicious.

Cute little place and good customer service! I only went in for a coffee but their sandwiches looked so good. They have lots of dairy free options for coffee drinks, including dairy free whipped cream 😍 I was so excited!

Liv’s is absolutely delicious! What a cute little spot! I got the Hog sandwich which was so yummy I ate it all up and quickly and had a (not pictured) scrumptious blueberry and cream cheese scone that was to die for. Even brought one back for my in laws to try and they also thought it was amazing.

The next day I had Liv’s make a charcuterie board for my baby shower and it was a HIT! It was beautiful and so so fresh and all the guests thoroughly enjoyed the assortment of meats, cheeses, and snacks it provided

Fun stop for a late lunch. We had sandwiches which were delicious. Service was fast. Seating in the back patio was something you have to check out. Nice surprise. And, yes they are dog friendly.

I will definitely be back! What a great little cafe with excellent quality, real food made with real ingredients. We had a couple of delicious breakfast sandwiches along with a latte and a raspberry hot chocolate. Both drinks were perfect! Big thanks to the owners for providing us with a new favorite on the Eastern Shore!

Fairly new place in my hometown. Last week I took a gamble and met a friend their for lunch. Everything was excellent ! We both got lattes and shared a Reuben Sandwich and salad. The salad was good with freshness and the reuben was actually made to perfection. Seriously the best one I've had in my 65 years. I'm looking forward to next visit.
I want to add that I had the opportunity to meet the owner proprietor and she said that she and her husband started the place mainly to give her something to do to keep busy while he is at work. Her main aspect in choosing this business was based on her love of good food prepared very well. They didn't expect to make much and if it made enough to keep the doors open that would be fine

Liv's Cafe is a premium sandwich shop less than 5 minutes off of Route 13 in Exmore, VA. Well worth the 3 minute detour. It hosts a variety of pressed sandwiches and sides that left my mouth salivating for more, even though I was already full. They use quality meats in abundance and the decor was charming with an artistic flair that reminded my of lazy summer days on the patio at dusk. If you travel like I do, you are always looking for those hidden jewel locations to have a nice time and take a break with your family. Liv's is that and MORE!!!

I’ve been waiting for Liv’s to open and went by there this past Saturday and it had just opened that week. So glad I kept an eye out as I was NOT disappointed! Great set up and decor - definitely a classy looking business. Very well thought out details. Made me feel good going into a beautiful place to get my food. Made me think they care about their business and their customers. I got the Cobb salad and I can say it was the best I’ve ever had and I’m from the DC area where restaurants abound. The size was large and it was VERY fresh. The balance of ingredients was absolutely perfect. So many places throw one tomato and one slice of cucumber, etc, on their salads but not Liv’s. Every bite had a combination of ingredients along with the spring lettuce mix. The dressing I ordered was obviously home made, very delicious and not overly vinegary. Normally I can’t finish a large salad but I couldn’t stop eating mine! The other item I ordered for my partner was the Reuben sandwich. I tasted it too and it was very good. It was like a panini and whatever they used to press it made it look great. There was no greasy-ness to it like some others I’ve had. Personally I would prefer a tad more sauce on it but it was still a high quality sandwich. I hope in the future they offer a larger size in addition to this size for larger (my man’s) appetite. It would have been perfect for me but he wanted to eat more it was so good. I can’t wait to go back and try more selections when I’m back in town! Thank you Liv’s for opening up a quality and classy food establishment on the shore!

I had 'The Cedar', best hand crafted Sandwich I have ever had. The House Basil Mayo, fresh turkey, and smooth avocado was an amazingly delicious heavenly blend. To top it off I had a Peppermint Mocha Frappe that blew Starbucks out of the water. Will return every chance I get. Can't wait to return and try the other sandwiches.

Highly recommend, I had the cedar sandwich, it was delicious! Friendly customer service. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Great coffee! I like Peet's so I am a fan of bold coffee. Overall great experience, friendly staff and customers.

Roast beef and swiss with their special sauce is amazing.

Excellent coffee and mocha. My biggest regret is not coming back for lunch later in the day. The two employees behind in the counter are friendly. Seriously, the mocha and coffee were amazing.

I’m never been disappointed when I’ve gotten lunch or breakfast from here . The food is always delicious and warm . They make sure you get plenty of meat and it’s definitely worth the price . The employees are always nice and courteous. If you haven’t tried it you are definitely missing out ! Also don’t forget to get your chips ( my favorite are the dill chips ).
