I'm so happy to see this location open again. Big Rock cafe exceeded my expectations. The food and service were great. Staff was friendly and the coffee was never empty. A great asset to downtown MHC.

Got the build your own omelette with beef hash and it was awesome! Becky did an amazing job as our server. She was very attentive with a great attitude. I highly recommend this down home restaurant!

First time coming since the reopening and couldn’t have been happier. Food was fantastic, staff was so incredibly kind and attentive. The eggs benny Irish style was 10/10 and the skillet breakfast was perfect.

Big Rock Cafe is an awesome place to go for breakfast. The chef is passionate about what he does and it shows. The staff is very attentive and the portions are worth the price. You will not be disappointed!

This is a local gem. It used to be Grumpy's and it is a local favorite. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The food was great. I got the breakfast sandwich with sausage, two eggs and cheese along with home fries and was stuffed afterwards. If you loved Grumpy's, you will love The Big Rock Cafe.

Glad the place opened back up. New owner takes interest in serving what we liked about grumpy's. Coastie is back and at big rock cafe. Come and get it. The wait staff was friendly. Value added place to eat.

Make sure to double check your receipt before paying. Food and service was perfect, would give it 5 stars but we were overcharged by about $10 and the receipt wasn't itemized. Didn't realize how off the math was until after we left.

Another place that's completely underwhelming. Price vs portion vs quality. 4 corners diner has better quality, bigger portions, and MUCH better pricing. Big Rock Cafe, there's no way yall stand a chance to make it if yall don't ripoff your guests. I was dumbfounded when my $12 breakfast came to the table. Ask for extra toast ($1.75), and it's a single slice of cha-ching brand bread. This is B.S. yall. Bacon, is 2 pieces. Over medium eggs still had too much white goo. Just, wow. Coffee was meh. That place was a one & done for me...
