Joyful cafe

Kameron and I came here today 2/24/24. So glad we did. So freakin delicious. The food is made with detail and the ingredients are all fresh. The cook/owner in house brines his own corned beef and preps the chicken by soaking it in buttermilk before tenderizing and hand battering. 🩶

Stopped by on our way to Bend based on the reviews. We both had Chciken and Waffles with a side of home fries and a side of gravy. It was excellent. You could tell the chef took great pride in his food. Highly recommend.

What a gem! Quality food and recipes. The local family genuinely cares what they are giving to their patrons. The chicken fried steak 🤤🤤 the corned beef hash 🤤🤤 and a great cup of coffee. Yum! Chef chats with you along the way and the waitress does a great job at being attentive. Kind of an old school diner vibe. Must try!

Nice thick-n-tender hand carved chicken fried steak, served with meaty from scratch country style gravy. Eggs perfectly over medium, and flavorful thin sliced potatoes. Coffee is a full-bodied, full flavor French roast like I could only find in New Orleans. The chef goes through the extra effort to process all he serves fresh, very much like I used to do at home. He even grinds his own sausage. Has Coca-Cola beverages and Coca-Cola decor. Lots of stainless steel in the kitchen and every bit of the establishment shining clean. I was given answers to every question I had about our meal. It was a pleasure that I look forward to repeating. Thank you, Steve and Heather, for such a personable experience.

Family run and everything fresh. The food is beautifully prepared to order. I had the veggie scramble and added hollandaise sauce. My hubby had the chicken fried steak. We could not have been happier with our choices. This is a hole in the wall that you would miss if you weren’t looking for it. Look for it!

We were in Klamath Falls for the day and looking for a lunch spot with our dog along is sometimes a challenge. The owner and staff here were very helpful and accommodating, bringing a water bowl out for our dog, and an umbrella to keep the sun off of the picnic table out front. The food was great, service exceptional, and both the cook\owner and server got along with our Staffy. We'll be back. Thanks !

Best breakfast experience in Klamath Falls! The food is incredible, super fresh ingredients, and the staff is extremely friendly! Just look at that presentation! Some of the best pico and homemade chips I've ever had also. (Pictured is a half order of the Salmon Benedict).

First time at Joyful cafe and had an amazing experience. Ordered the breakfast burrito, it came out prompt, hot and absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and helpful. I can't wait to come back!

I came to town to visit some family and they had nothing but good things to say about this place so they took me here for some breakfast. They were right, everything we had was delicious! I had the eggs Benedict along with some fried pickles and those were the best fried pickles I’ve ever had.. I will be coming back to this place when I’m back in town!

Pretty solid breakfast! Chicken fried steak's breading fell off really easily but was really tasty. The meat itself was fairly tender. The breakfast potatoes were the true star though. They had peppers and shallots or red onion mixed in. Super delicious. Don't skip those! Coffee was as to be expected, hit the spot but wasn't anything to write home about.

This was our 4th (5th maybe) time at joyful cafe and we have not been disappointed. The food is top notch! I tend to find what I like on a menu and stick with it but I have had something different every time and have loved it all. It is quickly becoming our Sunday brunch spot! The burgers are the best I’ve had in town, the salmon benidict is ridiculous, and my son said the breakfast burrito is the best he’s ever had! The dining area is small so it’s hard with bigger parties but worth it and if you call and tell them you are coming they are great about it.

The best breakfast I have EVER had! The salmon Benedict was delicious and very flavorful! I have never had breakfast potatoes this way but they were so delicious too! This will be my new breakfast place when I come into town. My compliments to the Chef for creating such delicious food! He was very professional and very personable to talk to. He actually stopped what he was doing, took his gloves off, came around the corner to greet my husband professionally and was humble as well as appreciative of the compliments. He explained why he started the restaurant. Way to go chef! You have made your dream come true!

Super cute mom and pop cafe. The food was worth the wait. I had the BLT with Avocado and the hubby had the Grilled Chicken sandwich. Both absolutley delicious. I may even have to say so far thats the best BLT Ive had in town. Something about the aoli sauce on the sandwich that made it amazing. Definitely a place to have a nice little breakfast or lunch.

Staff was extremely friendly and happy to fix any mistakes! They were amazing, it’s a cute little breakfast spot. The chef seemed very passionate about what he was doing. Service was fast and waitress was so nice.

This was one of our favorite breakfast places ever – it is family run, every item that we tried was prepared to perfection, and the service was great. We had the French toast, biscuits and gravy, chicken and waffle. It will be almost impossible to ever order the chicken and waffle or biscuits and gravy anywhere else. Theirs was so good that it spoiled us for all others. Next time we go, we will order an extra side of their potatoes. They are off the charts.

This morning I came in for a late breakfast for takeout. I ordered the Denver omelet and sat down at a table to wait for my order. The owners are very nice people. My omelet was awesome. What wasn't awesome was a very rude woman and her young son (why the boy wasn't in school is a curiosity) who apparently didn't like her meal. This woman very loudly stated that her meal was "disgusting". This woman obviously missed the lesson in politeness we are supposed to be taught as youngsters. She could have simply stated that she didn't like her food. Anyway the owner refunded the cost of her meal. I don't normally leave reviews but I wanted the owners to know they were appreciated by me for their service and the freshness of my breakfast.

Family owned and operated. Personable and friendly. Clean. The breakfast potatoes are so good! Eggs done exactly the way I asked. Nice sized portion. The food is made from scratch, and it shows. I drank the coffee black; I didn't need to add anything to make it drinkable. I am looking forward to my next trip to K-Falls. I will definitely stop here again.
P.S. potatoes have peppers and onions, but she told me they can be made to order without if need be.

Amazing! Stopped for breakfast while traveling because of the excellent reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Family owned, super friendly, and the chef (part owner) came out to see how we liked the food, and the server (his sister) took great care of us. Everything is made from scratch. The corned beef hash was actual corned beef they had roasted and cubed in house, then hashed it up with onions, peppers and potatoes. It was delicious.

This place is a hidden gem - we will look for you to get a visit from Guy Fieri and DDD in the future!

Hearty food and very friendly, cheerful, attentive service, even though they were kinda swamped that morning! Highly recommend for a pleasant, low-key breakfast/brunch stop. The beef chili was perfect.
