Great beer, great food, and a great environment. Large indoor space with lots of seating and the place has always been clean. The food is higher end “bar food” but it still hits the spot every time! Highly recommend the steak tips or the burgers!

They have a shuffleboard and a foosball table inside.

A very popular local choice. You're going to find the place buzzing most times with a foundation of loyal locals. This place is on the Maine Beer Trail so, if you're here for craft brews you'll need to check this place out. It's unique, beer is good, food is pretty good. Atmosphere is good.

Randomly chose this Brewery to try when we were hungry and in the area. The parking lot was a little ways from the entrance but there were instructions on how to find the brewery that made it easy to locate on foot. The beer selection we chose was a nice variety. They had flights of 5 at an affordable price. The food was excellent. The staff was friendly. The environment itself was exactly what one would expect from the setting of a nicely renovated mill space. Highly recommend the dill wings and some dirty fries. They were the most delicious of all the flavors. My favorite beer was either the State Parks or the Coastal Haze IPA. Staycationland was very drinkable. There was a lot of room inside the brewery and the staff was all friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the mood for a beer adventure!

I'm kind of hoping we came in on an off day, but I'm giving this place 5 stars anyway for the bartender Kira and the beer selection. We loved the beer and the whole place is amazing, but the food was really underwhelming. We'll definitely be back and try again though, we really enjoyed ourselves.

The atmosphere is perfect in the old mill turned into a restaurant by Baxter Brewing Co. Great tap list of their delicious beers. There is outdoor, indoor and bar seating. The menu had several options for all.

Great Beers, great food, and fun cocktails! The cocktails are a little on the pricey side but they’re unique. I love the atmosphere and there is a lot of seating indoor and outdoor. Trivia nights on Thursdays are great too! This is a great place that my husband and I frequently go to.

One of my favorite brewery stops in Maine. Delicious, interesting beer, with reasonably priced flights. Both the exterior and interior of the building are beautiful and eye catching in their own respects- I really enjoyed the vibe. Greeted by a gentleman in a coat and slacks, and escorted to our table with all of the service and treatment of a fine dining establishment.

Our server was Isabelle- ask for her! She was very knowledgeable about the beer, the area and it's history/future, etc.

Left with a nice buzz and a sixer of the Prost Secco (for like $7, I mean come on). Will be returning as frequently as possible.

My wife and I stopped here on our way through town in the beginning of Oct 2023 for lunch. This was one of the best brewery's we have been too. We enjoyed the industrial look, and the food was great. Wife really liked the potato skins and I had a fried chicken sandwich. If we are ever back in the area, we will be stopping here.

Amazing service in a super cool location. My only disappointment came when I realized it wasn’t closer to home. Definitely worth a stop. Those fiddleheads were epic!

Absolutely loved this place! The lighting, atmosphere and history of the building was amazing. I have completely fallen in love with the fried pickle wontons! I am not a bar fan but I will hang out here at this one anytime. Staff was friendly and polite and the lighting outside was just as amazing. It took a bit to find but Google gave very clear direction if I had paid attention better.

We photographed a small wedding reception at Baxter Brewing this fall and they did amazing! It was their first wedding and hopefully not their last. The space was beautiful, the lighting was perfect, and the food was amazing!!

We were very pleased with their COVID protocols and everything was adhered to for everyone's safety.

Highly recommend Baxter Brewing for an intimate wedding reception.

Amazing and unique beers (innuendo is my fav.). The food is great as well (burger with egg and bacon!). Super friendly staff! The atmosphere is great, you can see the old stone of the mill along the wall. Also a good place to play PokemonGo :)

Burger was excellent. Ordered med rare and that's what i got! Not overly complicated and the beef was quality.

Chicken sandwich was juicy and super crunchy!

Fried pickles were the perfect start!

BEST BEER AND BEST PRICES. I was blown away by this small brewery. 8-10 beers on tap and a flight of 4 was $3.00. ONLY THREE DOLLARS. Drafts are $4.

Yet, this place is classy, well run and organized. Most beers available in 6-pack cans and quality merch.

Big fan of their session ale and coastal IPA.

First time here.. and very pleasantly surprised to find such a 'Cozy' spot tucked in right next to the canal.
The MOST Delicious, PUB Style food with some Fantastic gourmet flavors! Everything was cooked Perfectly.. the “Baxter Burger” didn't disappoint, tasting like a perfectly charred sirloin steak! We were all SMILES. The servers were friendly AND fabulous! I'll be going back for sure!

My first visit but i will go back 100%.
The dry rub wings are absolutely amazing, as are the Brussel Sprouts. Wing night Wednesday not to be missed.
Better beer specials than other breweries.

I'd give this place 10 stars if I could just for ambiance! Walking up to it was most impressive. It's situated next to a beautiful water feature. Going inside did not disappoint. Seriously best brewery experience I have ever had! Oh and the Irish Stout rocked! This place is now my #1 date spot for me and my husband!
