This doctor diagnosed me with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, which I was seeking the diagnosis for YEARS.
Saw a doctor at this same office about two years prior who told me that it wasn’t a real diagnosis so I couldn’t possibly have it.
Not going to say that doctors name, because I’m not trying to destroy that doctor’s reputation, but hopefully she sees this and gets with the program, because telling patients with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome that they have Idiopathic Angioedema can be very dangerous or even mean life or death for that person.
This doctor is great, listens to your concerns, doesn’t rush the appointment, etc.
Very grateful for her and NP Taylor for treating me like a human being.
Was told for years by so many different doctors that the condition either didn’t exist, was too rare for me to have it, that it was just anxiety, etc.
Have been laughed at, hollered at, talked over, for simply trying to advocate for myself (respectfully), when I knew something was wrong.
