Eating professionally for a living, I can proudly say frequenting this Baker every weekend is a true joy of mine, trying the weekly sweet & savory pastrie, this has literally become a hobby!

They have a variety of fresh baked breads, but What I look most forward to is the croissant of the week. This week I truly enjoyed the chorizo and egg croissant, like nothing I’ve ever tried. It was truly delicious and that is an understatement! Flaky light and delicious packed with spicy chorizo, and kale saturated in some kind of heavenly sauce! Just wow I even ate it cold in my car , that good!

I also must mention the cinnamon rolls, an item that is a permanent staple to the menu, the sourdough does not make you feel like you’re going to be sick after. And I’ve never had a cinnamon roll like this where the icing is so thick. It’s perfect for every bite and before you leave, you must get a coffee my favorite is the malted salted oat latte. Thurs - sun see yall there !

Super friendly vibes and big portions of flaky goodness at this chillaxed bakery cafe with coffee. The raspberry “cruffin” (?) has delicious fresh cream and jam inside, and worth tearing apart with others. The “cheesesteak bearclaw” was novel and savory. The melted cheese on the acorn squash pastry was satisfying and the kid enjoyed the ham and cheese gruyère thing. The olive oil focaccia is superb. Super friendly service and a table opened relatively quickly. Clearly popular.

This gem in Flemington is a must! Definitely a good idea to plan an early morning as they can sell out very easily, but the couple of times we were able to sneak out gave us some of the most AMAZING pastries!! They’re flavorful without being overly sweet (though some are very sweet and we are not mad!) so happy to make the mini hike to stop over for some treats, coffee/hot chocolate, and get some steps in at the Main Street!!

My wife heard about this place through the local news, and we decided to give them a try. We were not disappointed. The bread is fresh and delicious. The Spiced maple latte is a must. It was exquisitely well prepared and went well with the sourdough chocolate chip cookie. The service was very professional and welcoming. I will pay for quality service and food. Whenever it calls for rain, nothing beats coffee and bread in a pleasant atmosphere.

We followed Bread and Culture around from farmers market to farmers market bringing friends and family in tow and we were ecstatic once they were able to open a brick and mortar. After having their pastries, all others will pale in comparison - not to mention everything is naturally leavened (sourdough). Their space is beautiful, kid friendly and the staff is inviting. There’s no wonder they get a line around the block everyday they’re baking because it’s hard to come by such a great experience these days. Have been excited to see all the new additions to the menu and can’t wait to continue watching their bakery grow!

I’ve been a long time fan of Bread and Culture from farmers markets and I’m so excited by their brick and mortar store. It’s beautiful, the coffee is great and the bread is just as good if not better than ever before.

I’ve never been disappointed in anything I’ve tried and all I can say is it’s always worth the line

Such an awesome spot! We tried 6 different items and every single one of them was absolutely delicious. The latte I ordered was absolute perfection. On top of it all the staff members were all so sweet, helpful, and welcoming!

One of the best bakeries in the country. We like trying new things each week, but have a hard time not buying everything from the week before, too!
Beautiful seating area inside, but also definitely worth the drive to bring things back home, too!

I had the pleasure of visiting Bread and Culture today, and once again, it was an experience worth sharing. Paolo and Michelle, the talented duo behind this bakery, continue to impress with their commitment to using the best ingredients. Every bite is a testament to their craftsmanship and passion.

Today, I sampled a few of their offerings: the chorizo and egg croissant, fig danish, and blueberry cruffin. Each item was absolutely to die for, but the chorizo and egg croissant stood out as the star of the show. It’s like a Mexican breakfast nuzzled in a perfectly flaky, buttery croissant. The combination of flavors was simply amazing, and I’m already looking forward to having it again.

The fig danish and blueberry cruffin were also exceptional. The fig danish had a perfect balance of sweetness and richness, while the blueberry cruffin was light, airy, and bursting with fresh blueberry flavor.

One of the highlights of visiting Bread and Culture is the exceptional service. The staff always ensure our pastries are perfectly heated, enhancing their delicious flavors. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in every interaction, making us feel valued and appreciated as customers.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Bread and Culture in our community. Their passion for their craft and their dedication to quality make this bakery a true gem. Having visited several times, I can confidently say that each visit is a delightful experience. If you haven't been to Bread and Culture yet, I highly recommend stopping by and indulging in their delicious creations. You won’t be disappointed!

Exactly what flemington needed!
Second day of being open and the place was packed. Despite this, customer service was friendly and the line moved quickly. Bread looked amazing, but i was lucky enough to order as soon as the croissants came out of the oven. Ordered one chocolate croissant and one ham and cheese croissant. Definitely not your typical coffee shop croissant, very fresh, and very good. Drip coffee was ok, but you could really feel the love and passion that went into the pastries.
Absolutely will be back.

This is the spot. The food is just…special. Nourishing, and consistently outstanding. The staff are friendly and working as fast as they can (you literally watch them whiz around nonstop). But back to the food. It’s just…high quality, and delicious, and daring/creative/new all in the best way. There can be a line sometimes, but is the food and service worth it? In my humble opinion, yes. And we’ve met some nice people in line. If they let you give 6 stars, I would.

The best breakfast in flemington by a mile. Amazing care and detail goes into everything they make. Favorites are: country sandwich loaf, egg and bacon croissant sandwich, cardamom morning bun, citrus latte, pretty much everything is great.

I am thoroughly enchanted by this café's remarkable offerings. The establishment's commitment to superior quality and distinctiveness in its culinary creations is truly commendable. Each pastry I had the pleasure of tasting was exquisitely flaky, a testament to the chef's adept skill, creating an almost magical contrast with the delicately soft interiors—an impeccable balance of textures. The egg sandwich, generously laden with perfectly cooked egg, was complemented by a sauce that achieved an ideal equilibrium of spiciness, enhancing the overall flavor profile. In sum, this café is unequivocally a gem worth exploring, and I wholeheartedly endorse it as an essential culinary experience.

The fact that the pastries were so great on opening weekend, the time when there’s the most pressure and least protocol in place, is a testament to the talent at this bakery. The croissants are a must but don’t sleep on their bread; they were the first crusty, tangy loaves I’ve been able to get in the area since I’ve lived here! The fact that the family/ crew is so friendly is just the cherry on top. Highly recommended, but get there early if you want to try everything.

This place has the most delicious and wholesome sourdough breads. They have croissants etc. that are also popular but I just buy their breads. Their wholewheat bread with sesame and spelt bread with sesame are my favorites.
