Best sesame bagel I’ve had in years. The lox cream cheese is made fresh each morning and is delicious. Service is super friendly, Edward & Stella are great people. The interior is super clean and well laid out.p

I’ve lived in Hunterdon county my whole life and while there are some great bagel shops around, these are the best bagels in the area by far. Very fresh and soft yet crispy at the same time. The veggie cream cheese was 10/10 with chunks of fresh vegetables in it. The egg and cheese bagel I got was great too. All the employees are so friendly, today I met Edward and he was so nice and helpful and even recognized me from the day before. I took his advice not to toast the bagel and he was right! They’re so fresh you don’t need to. Great customer service, amazing bagels. Highly recommend 👍

Okay Osca Lobsta is back guys! I’m here to review City Bagel, let’s start with a couple things off that bat. First off, walk in the place is super clean, spotless you can tell the team at City bagels cares about their cleanliness. They have a large coffee station to the right when you walk in. The team is super friendly and is happy to great their customers as they walk in. They walked us through the menu and let me tell you bonus points for using Boars Head, they have a bunch of lunch wraps and deli sandwiches which I will definitely try on the return here. I got an Egg and Cheese with a hash brown and also an order of pancakes. The bagel was awesome, I’d say I like the yolk on my sandwiches a little more runny but hey it was still delicious. Now if many of you don’t know I’m a pancake fanatic. And let me tell you this is probably the best pancakes I’ve ever had. Light, fluffy, and cooked to perfection. The only thing I’d say is I love real maple syrup but I didn’t ask for it so maybe they do have it. I’d definitely recommend this place especially if Edward is around, he is the man!

Amazing new BAGEL shop in Flemington with a FLAGEL(??) What is a Flagel? I do not know but it sure is delicious! Think of a bagel smashed or flattened then baked with crusty outside and a nice chewy inside. Fantastic spreads and selection of fish from belly lox, Nova to whitefish and sable. A must stop. The owner and his family will greet you with a warm smile and handshake. Great business!

I had the most delicious bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a wheat bagel. The bagel was fresh. The bacon was perfectly crispy. The eggs were perfect. So good! And the coffee was good too.

My new favorite bagel place! As someone who is from NY originally, I haven't been able to find good, quality bagels in this area until City Bagel opened! Bagels are delicious! Homemade cream cheese is fantastic...the strawberry is my favorite!

The owners are lovely. They helped coordinate the teacher breakfast for Teacher Appreciation Week for my children's school and the teachers loved it! They even pre-sliced all of the bagels for me!

Some of the BEST bagels I've had in a long time. Very fresh! Bagels are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. ALL of their cream cheeses are very delicious as well, you can tell everything is made fresh in-house. I've gone a few times now and they never disappoint! Highly recommend if your in the area

Bagels are legit NJ/NYC bagels - really great consistency. I got a pork roll, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel and it was great! I also got some Waldorf chicken salad to-go because it looked so good. The man at the counter told me he cooks the chicken himself, and only uses breast meat and the finest ingredients. He was very proud and for good reason - it was delicious! I will definitely be going back for lunch and breakfast often!

City Bagel has the BEST Freshest bagels in town by far. The food if Absolutely Amazing! All the cream cheese spreads are handmade with the freshest ingredients so many to choose from! They also have BoarsHead meats & cheeses and REAL Grilled Chicken plus assortment of Fresh Fish for sandwiches. Soups are hand-made & to Die for! The Staff is Extremely Happy & Polite Always welcoming me with a smile! I work very close by & Always & will Always recommend City Bagel for a GREAT inexpensive meal. They don't make places like this anymore! If ya Love bagels definitely try City!

Delicious food and friendly owners/staff with fair prices. Bagels are perfectly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Plus, they freeze and defrost better than any other bagel I've found in the area. Cream cheese spreads are high-quality and homemade with a wide variety. Deli sandwiches are well-made with fresh ingredients and they don't skimp on the portions. This has become our go-to bagel spot and we're really glad they opened. They don't disappoint.

I have been looking for a real bagel 🥯 place in this central Jersey area since I moved from north Jersey and have been so disappointed with every bagel and bagel sandwich I have tried. This place does not disappoint and was absolutely worth the 20 minute drive just for a bacon egg cheese and avocado on a jalapeno bagel. Also prices are really competitive. Will definitely be back now that I found my bagel spot close to home!

Discovered this place while traveling to North Jersey for work. It has become a go-to anytime I travel this way. The family is extremely friendly, with some of the best bagels in the area. The food is fresh and you can't beat the cream cheese spreads. Highly recommend for breakfast or lunch!

If you want a great New York style bagel definitely come to this place! Bagels are fresh they have a little bit of a crunch to the outside and super soft on the inside and the flavor is out of this world! And the cream cheese is insane good! All made fresh on premises with actual pieces of fruit and or vegetables depending upon what flavor you get!!! The owner Edward is so very nice and took time to come out and talk to us and answer questions.

The owners are great. Very friendly. Gave my 2 year old a free small bagel. The bagels are crispy on outside and soft on inside. Better than other bagel shops in the area and better than my other go to in town. Real NY style bagels!

We moved to the area from Brooklyn, & were so excited to find City Bagel Cafe. The bagels are fantastic, and the family running the place is as lovely as can be. Great omelettes, egg sandwiches, whitefish, & lox as well. We’re here every weekend with our daughter, and it has become a tradition that really feels like home.

Friendliest owners! So easy to work with esp when I had a huge order for work! Delicious cream cheese and bagels! Personal favorites are the lox and fresh strawberries and their onion and garlic bagels! Can’t wait to try other sandwiches!

Couldn’t love this place more. I’m from Jersey but live in Atlanta so am constantly missing bagels and a good deli. This is my new go to place when I’m back! Great bagels, amazing owners that make you feel welcome, and specialty salads that are so tasty! Thanks Eddie!

1st I am always skeptical when a new restaurant has over 100 5 star ratings....These ratings do not lie, CITY BAGEL IS A 5 STAR BAGEL SHOP AND THE BEST IN FLEMINGTON. Super clean, with a great assortment of gourmet spreads and salads, excellent boiled bagels, a flagel? bialis and the BEST coffee( skip wawa and drive just a few feet)! Prices are more than reasonable, portions huge, and quality is top notch. The owner, Edward, is almost a Seinfeld character and will greet you with a smile and handshake and then tell you why he is the best....he is not lying. His crew( family) , all super friendly and hard at work.

February 2024…A very nice lox, cc, onion, and tomato on a still warm (at 12:30 on a Sunday) everything bagel. I look forward to returning to try their many flavored cream cheeses, especially the hot cherry pepper!

I hosted an event for 110 people. Everyone RAVED about the food and coffee catered by City Bagel. 7 dozen bagels with a variety of spreads, 80 wraps cut in half, potato and macaroni salads, garden salad were more than enough for all to eat. The wraps were delicious. Best bagels in the area!!
