Don Pancho's Tex-Mex Cafe

We came here for my boyfriend's birthday. It was my first time and he hasn't been here since he was a kid. We absolutely loved it! Our server Becca was amazing. She was very attentive and happy. Everyone that we encountered who worked there was! The cheese dip was a very generous size. We both got the burritos....the beef tips were tender and very flavorful. The bean and cheese chalupa was good...we recommend adding a side of jalapenos. The ice cream was our favorite part...the crunchy coating?! ::chef's kiss:: We will definitely be back! Thank you for an awesome birthday lunch!

On a Saturday afternoon at 3:30 I had the best Chicken fajitas I've ever had in my life. Our waitress was kind and considerate and the prices were fair. To anyone who likes Mexican food, this is the place to be.

Note: They are currently remodeling their bathrooms and the paint/wood stain smell was quite strong but limited to that area of the restaurant.

This is one of our favorite local restaurants! We ALWAYS have an excellent experience here. The food is fantastic, the service is great, prices are affordable, portions are perfect.
My mom is vegan and I am gluten free, so it’s hard for us to find places we can eat together. Both options are available to us here.
They also have our favorite taco sauce, La Victoria, which is difficult to find. It is available upon request with your meal & available to buy at the check out.

Update: I got invited here by friends. The service was great and the chips and salsa are still to die for. Had a good time.

(Update: 2 years ago: 3 Stars) Food is still good but we don't eat here anymore because they got rid of all of our favorite servers. Now everytime you go there it's someone new or a server that acts like they hate their job. Not sure if they need paid more or just need a moral boost but if you can't keep your happy staff, or your staff happy, you are obviously doing something wrong.

Big thank you to the server Rick. He always greets you like he's happy to see you. Great attitude and great service. Every time we eat here we hope he's our server because he's never let us leave disappointed.

My family eats here often. Almost everything I've tried tastes great. My old standby was the chicken or beef fajita jr. I've recently been hooked on their chicken quesadilla but their Mexican chili burger is also a favorite. They also offer a buffet and rooms for large groups as well as the banquet side of the building for special events.

If you like tea, the unsweet is refreshing like cold water and not bland like other places. The sweet tea however is nothing like you'll get at other places either. We still like it but its definitely not what we had first expected. They also offer pop and alcohol as well.

The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are always beyond friendly. The service is always good even when they're busy. And to top it all of, 2 people can get full for under $20. They also offer military discounts if you ask even though they don't advertise it. I usually just give it to the servers though because after the low price of the meal and the high value of the service, I really think they deserve it.

Finally found time to check out Don Pancho's. Wish I had done so sooner. Absolutely Tex-Mex. The queso was thick and hearty. The salsa spicy. Even the chips were fresh and crisp. My Texas Special (enchilada, burrito and tamale) were smothered in beefy chili. There was even a small green salad. I asked to not have beans and rice. Saves room for the delicious, thick flan. The only thing missing was pralines at the register. Every thing was made in house. Definitely going back when I can.

Nice place and breakfast was great! They have a buffet for lunch that looked amazing. Ill have to come back! I forgot to take a pic of my breakfast before the to go box. $4.95 Toast, eggs, potatoes and coffee. I'm picky with my eggs and they were amazingly done scrambled of course!;)

A great restaurant with tasty food. We've been returning to Don Panchos for years and they never disappoint. Super friendly service and a storied legacy. They also have the best salsa we've ever tasted. A couple of people mentioned cleanliness issues which absolutely puzzled us because that's never been the case. Go, eat, and enjoy!

Awesome food, I mean sometimes you don't want to cook at home but your tired of burgers or you just want a certain type of food (Italian, Mexican, tex-mex etc.). On that day I wanted authentic tex-mex food and was not dissapointed.

Consistently great Mexican food for decades. A friendly staff and very good food made your way. The large menu will demand return visits.

Always has been a favorite for Tex- Mex food. Always great service. The food is top-notch every time I've come to eat, never a bad meal. The portions are plentiful and dished perfectly.

I love coming here after crew for hot air balloon I have been to don Pancho's since I was a kid and I will come back again and again

Bathrooms are very clean. I could have ate off the carpet. Food is top notch. Staff is super friendly. Beware of the lady named Serena Hawkins walking along state street offering "favors". I tried to buy her some delicious Don Pancos food but she just kept talking about her "fix". I prayed for her. Give Panchos a try and don't worry about that Serena Hawkins, she just needs Jesus and to get clean off the cracks and off the streets.

We had our company holiday party here. Approximately 50 of us, and we all ordered off the menu. Food cam around the tables, in order. Servers were polite and efficient, including drink refills. Food was delicious, and their chips and salsa were excellent too! We will definitely put this restaurant in our regular rotation! Thanks for a great experience!

Restaurant has been around for a long time. Good atmosphere, and good family friendly environment.

Great food good service, sometimes a little short handed but worth the patience.
