The place looks amazing on the inside. Great place for a ♡+*Ɗɑɫë*+♡. The food was amazing. I loved the small appetizer they brought as I waited for my food. The vegetarian delight was pretty good. I probably should have ordered something else because my friend's plate looked better 😅. My only problem was how long it took for the food come out. But it was worth the wait. Definitely will be coming back to try out their other signature dishes. 😋

One of best restaurants in Houston, food is perfect services is great, very nice atmosphere. Great place for families.
Prices are resealable, actually they are below average.

This is the BEST Persian food we've had in Texas! The meats were cooked to perfection, the rice (both the saffron and the dill) had perfect texture and the subtle layers of flavor other places miss. The bread, served still warm and fresh, and the accompanying herbs and feta will change you. The service was excellent. We interacted with quite a few workers and everyone was friendly and helpful. Definitely try this place. We will be back every time we come to Houston.

We were invited to lunch at this restaurant by some friends. It's a really nice restaurant. Very neat and clean and service is excellent.
For starters we ordered the eggplant dip (Kashke Bademian). This was definitely my favorite dish.
We share the Royal Platter for 6, plus a smaller platter of rice and shrimp. It was a nice variety of food...something for everyone.
For drinks we had the mango lemonade and mango Lassi.
We enjoyed our meal.

I ordered the combination kubideh of beef and chicken. It was delicious. This was my first time trying Persian food so I had no idea what to expect. The rice was cooked just right. The butter was so good on the rice. The beef and chicken were cooked perfectly. The grilled tomatoes were even good too. Huge portion. My party couldn't finish their food and had to get it for to-go.

I also enjoyed their naan bread and hummus. The bread itself was hot and crunchy. Services were good. Our waitress refilled our water frequently. We had a large party of 14 but everything went smoothly.

Avesta Persian Grill is an excellent restaurant with a professional staff and incredible food!

Upon arriving, the staff up front was very welcoming, with a friendly greeting and we were shown to a table. First, I have to highlight our waitress Aaliyah! Such an incredible waitress, with a very engaging personality and a vast knowledge of the menu. She made my party feel like we were the only people in the restaurant. Our drink order was promptly taken and brought right away along with fresh bread and sabzi ( parsley, basil, feta cheese and cucumber), which is included with the meal.

To start off I ordered Tahdig (rice crust) which is not always available but in this instance, it was. The tahdig was brought out with a small bowl of Ghormeh Sabzi to top the tahdig. I enjoyed this appetizer so much. The wonderful crispity crunch of the rice covered in ghormeh sabzi was quite the combination. Persian Hummus and Shirazi Salad were ordered for the table as well and were both excellent.
Service was exceptionally quick and soon the main dishes of Lamb Shish Kabob and Koobideh Combination (beef and chicken) arrived. All three meats were succulent and savory. Cooked to perfection, the meats were tender and juicy. The meat was also very generously portioned. The grilled veggies and saffron basmati rice perfectly complemented and enhanced the dishes. This was a truly excellent meal and displays the quality of Persian/Iranian cuisine.
Throughout all of this fabulous meal, Aliyah was there to guide us through the journey with an authentic sense of genuine hospitality and interest in making this a memorable experience. She deserves her own five stars because her service reflected the quality of the restaurant and its food. The chef cooked an amazing meal! The restaurant itself was very clean, spacious and sophisticated.

Truly an experience and one I hope to repeat soon, the next time I’m in the area.

The food was amazing. I got the state kebab and grape leaves hummus and bread is amazing. Comes out fresh and taste wonderful. Service was very nice places clean definitely recommend.

Super satisfying Persian food at this lovely place! The seating area is very clean, nicely set up, spacious and comfortable. Probably some of the best Iranian food I’ve tried in Houston! Staff was quick and attentive! Highly recommended!

What an amazing Persian restaurant in the great westchase area!. The food was superb & the portion was humongous! Service was excellent and employees were top notch.
Don’t forget to try their tasty Persian tea .

A Culinary Gem with Exceptional Service!!! Definitely the best restaurant in Houston I have ever been. The staff his name is “Tawheed” was incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.
The food, oh the food, koobideh, Chicken, Lamb Kebabs were incredibly delicious and symphony of flavors that danced delightfully on the palates!

The first time I tried this restaurant, I must say the food was amazing. Service was very good. Nice and clean restaurant with a good atmosphere You must try this place if you are in Houston.
We tried their big family platter and it was good enough for 7 to 8 people.

Perfect spot for a Mediterranean meal.
Their new location is bigger and nicest. And they keep having the food quality.
As compliment at the begging you receive a plate with mint, parsley, feta cheese and pita.
For appetizer, I like their hummus so much. They offer great grilled food. On my last visit I had the salmon plate with dill rice. Salmon was juicy inside and rice was delicious.
Highly recommended when you are in the mood of grilled Mediterranean food

The ABSOLUTE BEST Persian food in Texas-arguably the best Persian food I’ve had anywhere. Family run with some of the kindest people I know. Always there with a smile and I’m happy to come back multiple times a month. A must try (even if there’s a wait-as there often is as the love for this place has grown) when you’re in the area! 100/10 would recommend!

I love Avesta. The food portions are huge and not bad for the price! I wish they let us sample sauces so when I’m eating rice and beef/chicken I don’t feel like it’s dry. Everything is good though. I come here often. They give huge bread with greens with a small block or feta cheese as appetizer. Everything is good and clean. To go is good too. They haven’t forgotten anything when I ordered.

Really nice place, it was a little cold today, 69F seems to be too cold… but the food is amazing, our family follow this guy since he was at the other side of this street, always delicious. We had hummus, koobideh, and chicken, perfect to our taste! Great option for Persian food.

The food is delish as always but this was my dad and my first time sitting and dining and Aliyah was amazing at taking care of us and making sure we were happy with everything. We had a great time chatting and spending time at the restaurant

Today was my first time and it really was a serendipitous evening. The food was amazing beyond belief, the atmosphere was welcoming and nice, and our waitress, Aliyah, was spectacular. We asked her questions about some of the foods and sides and she was very kind and informative. Aliyah also gave us some suggestions from the menu based on what we wanted to try. 10/10 would recommend this place.

My family has hosted several large dinner parties here (20-30 guests) and every single time we have been impressed. The food is perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked . Portions are plentiful and prices are quite affordable for the quality of the food. The most standout part of this restaurant is the top notch customer service. Every single employee greets you with a smile and is so kind and helpful and polite. I’d rate the customer service 10 stars if I could. Shoutout to the wonderful staff who took care of our large party on 1/26/24.
