Defying Gravitea

This was a Morning Treat! Thursday 11 am, not very busy, Comfy atmosphere, Clean and super friendly Cold Brew was Complex and Delicious. Only non- sugar sweetner is Stevia, excellent! Muffin Delicious!

Came here for lunch with a friend of mine. Friendly Staff. Amazing food. I have the sweet potato ricotta salad. I was delicious. I would highly recommend trying this place. I will definitely go back

I heard great reviews from friends about Defying Gravitea and it absolutely lived up to the hype! A very friendly atmosphere with tons of incredible gluten free and dairy free options on the menu. Highly recommend the Defying Gravitea Chicken Salad on a Brioche Roll. Keep up the great work!

This place was even better than I had hoped! I had the vegan banana bread and my friend had egg and cheese on a brioche roll with chicken sausage ( which I also sampled) both were fantastic!!! My friend's exact words " this is the best food I've ever had in my life" I can't wait to go back to try some of the lunch options. Servers were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere cozy.

This place has the absolute best baked goods I've had in years. I've been celiac for ~4 years now, and I've tried many gluten free bakeries since then. Anyone who eats strictly GF knows a huge issue with baked goods is the dry, crumbly texture. I genuinely just accepted I would never have good cake again, but I came here randomly one day and had a chocolate cupcake that was so good, I would have had no idea it was GF (and I always hate when people say that because it's usually untrue). I even double checked with the kid at the register. Since then I've had the lemon bars, scones, brownies, cookies, and more. The best thing I ever had here was a red velvet muffin (and I'm not even a red velvet person) - super moist and delicious. The people who work here are always extremely friendly and helpful, and I super appreciate that they take allergies very seriously and have things labeled. My non-celiac spouse has really enjoyed the food too. I dont live super close but I try to make it here at least once a week as a treat for myself!

Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant/cafe! Amazing gluten free and vegan options that are very tasty (even for non-gf/df eaters) and always sit well with my (very sensitive) celiac tummy. Love the cozy vibe and everyone has been very kind and inviting every time I’ve visited. I think about their birthday cake cookies and ab&j sandwich at least once a day! So glad to have a modern, local spot everyone can enjoy.

Went here for brunch a month ago and everything was so good! I had the French toast and my boyfriend had the crepes and we were so impressed. We got a bunch of baked goods to go and the owner was super helpful with suggestions. Went again yesterday and got a pumpkin Whoopie pie which was also delicious! Can’t wait to come back!

The food is amazing. When I moved to the area I was a little disappointed by the lack of healthy takeout options. This place has really made up for that! My daughter also has many food allergies including wheat so it's a relief to have an option I can trust if I can't cook for her! The owner has made cakes for us for all our special occasions and no one can tell it's gluten free. Anyone will enjoy their food and baked goods even if you eat gluten.

The food here is amazing! Every baked good is the best gluten and dairy free options I have ever had! Even my spouse who is not gluten free loves their stuff !!

Went to a baby shower where it was catered by Defying Gravitea—The food and scones were so good I needed to go try more in person. Had such a lovely lunch! The vibe is adorable and cozy. The owner and staff are so personable and welcoming. To top it off the food and sweets are just beyond delish! Highly recommend stopping in it won’t disappoint!!

Ps. As someone with severe food allergies, eating here was stress free due to their high quality ingredients made in house!

Came to Defying Gravitea for lunch and I will 100% be returning! Had the chicken salad over greens and then tried two different scones. Everything was delicious!! The scones were SO GOOD I can't wait to go back and try the other flavors. The atmosphere is so cute and cozy and the staff was wonderful. Can't wait to taste the rest of the menu!

Great little hidden gem. Fresh baked items, a charming atmosphere. You’ll feel transformed into a fairy garden. Very nice for a shower or small intimate gathering

Today was my first visit to Defying Gravitea… I recently became GF & DF and it’s been a real challenge finding places that I can eat without needing to modify everything. I’m a huge foodie so my new lifestyle has not allowed me to have many of the foods I love. My mom & I had lunch at the very cute cafe & both dishes were delicious! The staff was so friendly & the venue is very cute. I got a chocolate cupcake & a slice of lemon loaf to go & let me just say I almost shed a tear when I took a bite… I have really struggled to find anything sweet that actually tastes good… they both were AMAZING! I am truly shocked at how good they both are. I am relieved that I’ve finally found a place that I can go to and know that I am going to find options that I can actually enjoy.

Delicious food, amazing coffee, and beautiful decor inside. I went in early morning feeling sleepy and got out feeling amazing and ready for work. I’ll be back again many times. Thank you!

Nice local cafe. Been there a few times. I’m not GF but definitely enjoyed the food. Service was outstanding and atmosphere is clean and relaxed.

If you need or prefer gluten and dairy free food, especially desserts this is the place. A cozy place, serving breakfast, lunch and a variety of baked goods with polite service and reasonable prices.

I have been gluten free for 18 years. This is the best bread I have had. The owner is very kind and am grateful there is a safe place to eat in the area with great food!!

If you haven’t tried Gina’s baked goods, you’re definitely missing out! The banana bread AB-J sandwiches are so good!! Can’t wait to try the other stuff on the menu, but all I can say is that everything has been excellent so far.

I also love how spacious her shop is unlike other bakeries. Very welcoming and super clean!

Click your heels 3 times and you feel like you’re at home. The food, the atmosphere and the warm friendly face are more than ever imagined. My entire family has stomach issues and often find ourselves not feeling well after eating at other restaurants. We know when we leave Defying Gravitea we will have no issues!!! Check it out. It’s out of this world

A beautiful place, amazing food, we tried the avocado toast, lemon pound cake, and cranberry orange muffin - all SO delicious. Can’t believe it’s gluten and dairy free! Will definitely be back ♥
