Tulum Cafe

This place has it all.
I had the 12 oz ribeye cooked to medium and it was spot on pink in the middle, perfect char on the outside, and every bite was heaven. My coworkers had Mexican food and commented how good it was. The green and red complementary salsa was loaded with flavor a little kick. The restaurant was clean and the staff were awesome.

Overall Tulum restaurant has a good variety of options, boast great flavors across the board, and the prices are reasonable. Keep up the good work and I am looking forward to coming back. I highly recommend Tulum Cafe.

Hi everybody, we take the 3 different plates, "Carne guisada" "chicken Flautas" and "the tortilla soup" and its were delicious...see the pics

We frequently dine out. This place was clean, fresh and welcoming. My husband enjoyed the enchiladas verdes and I had the best tortilla soup EVER.

We stopped here after a long drive on I-10, and it was some of the best Mexican food I’ve had at a restaurant. We didn’t have to wait long for the food (which was nice cuz we were really hungry from the long drive!). The owner was very friendly and even offered to take a photo of us! The staff was very attentive and nice as well. The bathrooms were also really clean which was nice to see on a long trip! Definitely recommend jumping off I-10 to stop here.

We drove all day to get to Schulenburg, and I'd do it again just to eat at Tulum Cafe. The first thing I noticed was how good it smelled. The food was probably the best Mexican cuisine I have ever had. The service was great. We're going back there for dinner tomorrow night since we'll still be in Schulenburg. Why go someplace else when this is the best!

Best Mexican food in the area, hands down. Fresh, high quality ingredients. Clean, excellent service and highly recommend the Carne Guisada!

Better than Lucy's. Quiet and great atmosphere. Good food. Good service. Recommend for anyone passing through the area.

I went here with some friends for a early supper. Great service, fantastic food(seafood platter for me). Decent prices and nice little , very clean diner.

First time eating here. Had the fried shrimp special on A busy Friday night. Served with fries and a small salad. For 10.99. Great price and shrimp was tasty. And the basket of chips and salsa served to each table once seated was an added bonus. Will be back.

The food here is really good. REALLY good. The meat was tasty tasty( yes, double tasty), the chips were fresh and the servers were nice Also, they have a guacamole with roasted jalapenos and giant chunks of avocado that will probably make them famous. They are doing everything right for sure!

Great variety of Tex-Mex dishes and fantastic service. They even played the birthday song in Spanish for me 🥳 They were so great I shared my birthday cake 🎂 with the server and cooks!

Wonderful Mexican food! The tortilla soup is loaded with vegetables and chicken, and the jalapeño chikin (yes, that’s the menu name) was quite tasty but not overpowering with jalapeños. Friendly waiter!

Tejano fish, I wish I could recreate the sauce! Delicious. A little slow, which is understandable. The food is worth the wait! Looking forward to my next visit.

Stopped here on a rare day out. Staff was friendly and food was great. Prices weren't bad either. Would love to return when back in the area.

Great food, great atmosphere, great seating, and great waiter! This restaurant reminds me of the classy place in larger cities that charge upwards to $30 a meal.

Loved it! A hidden gem. I had the beef fajitas poblano and it was phenomenal. The waiters were friendly and attentive.
