Jet Runway Cafe

This is my second time at the Jet Runway Cafe. Tucked behind the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, this is a fun local spot for breakfast or lunch with great views of the private jets arriving and departing. Today’s lunch of a spinach wrap with coconut shrimp and coleslaw was fresh, light and delicious. Our server was attentive and super pleasant despite every table being full. We have had the goat cheese salad and avocado toast on a previous visit and found them equally good.
There is parking in front, but you may have to wait for a spot to open. This place is always full to capacity. We prefer going during the week as weekends could find you waiting over an hour. We were pleased both times we visited. Will be back!

Everything is always good at JRC. From the food to the ambiance, you can't go wrong. The only knock I have is that it's always busy which is a testament to the food and service. If you haven't had the Brioche French toast, treat yourself and thank me later. Will definitely be back.

So this was a little hard to find, when you park in the parking lot, go all the way to the right and follow the awning and sidewalk until you hit the dead end.

Once we got inside, you have a great view of the runway and taxiway for the airport and it's a really cool experience to see all the takeoffs and landings while you eat.

The food was also excellent! Nothing disappointed, just a little pricey.

Nice and hidden breakfast spot. I took My best friend and he loved the food, view, service and ambiance.

Definitely recommend coming early because it gets very busy.

Excellent food and service. I had the omelette with bacon and cheddar cheese. Grits were excellent! Everything was well seasoned and didn't need anything more. Great place to take in the view and enjoy some quality food.

This place is absolutely amazing. The food, the service, the atmosphere and view were awesome. It's a hidden gem amongst a bunch of airplane hangars. Watching airplanes and helicopters land and take off through crystal clear windows was ab awesome experience. The crab cake hash I had was full of crab, not like other places where they load the cake with binders. The egg was cooked to perfection. Definitely will re-visit and recommend.

My family and I loved everything about this place from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The food and service was on point. We will definitely return but this time for a window view. I had the chicken and waffles which was good but the steak and eggs (did not take a picture) was amazing! The steak was soft and juicy.

Our server was amazing and the grilled cheese with tomato bisque was really good! The view was also pretty cool as you sit right next to the taxiways.

Good Brunch spot. Even when they are busy they run efficiently with good service.
We had a larger group with a reservation and were able to be seen within a few minutes of our reservation time. The host and waiters were great, food was delicious and served fairly quick probably within 15-20 minutes after placing our order. If you enjoy seeing air planes and helicopters while you dine this is the place to go!

A hidden gem. Great atmosphere!! If you love planes, you will absolutely love this place. Being right off the runway watching planes come and go. While enjoying a great meal. Highly recommend the breakfast.

A hidden gem at Fort Lauderdale exclusive airport. They open till 3 pm, serving breakfast and lunch. Request a window seat and enjoy the runway views of private jets landing and taking off.

We were looking for something new in the area. So glad we decided to visit for brunch today. Great views of planes landing and taking off. The food itself was delicious and the cost was great for our party of 5. The plate in the photo was the “full tank” and we added strawberries to the French toast. I’ll definitely return.

The first time I visited Jet Runway Cafe, it was for the location and enjoying the view of the active runways out the picture windows. Now, I come for the same views, but also for the food. It's really great, Today, we chose breakfast and lunch dishes. The burgers are the best, and today I tried a salmon burger and was impressed. This is the kind of place where everything on the menu is probably good. Ashley was our waitress today and she was top notch. We often see families with children here, as the kids enjoy watching planes tacu, land, and take off. It's an enjoyable place to take family and friends for a really good aviation themed meal. When we are lucky, we get seated next to one of the big windows, but every table has a decent enough view of all the action. The prices are just a bit above average, but the location on FXE's runways make it worth every cent.

One of those Hidden treasures in the fort lauderdale area... and with a unique view of the tarmac.

All I can say is Jet Runway Cafe is the place to eat for brunch. Located at Fort Lauderdale"s Executive Airport where you get to see private planes land and takeoff all while enjoying brunch. I couldn't resist looking out the window for airplanes.This establishment gets very busy, so arrive early and have patience. We waited about 20 mins for table. Food was delicious! As a matter of fact I've already been here several times and I'm looking forward to going back! Service exceptional. If you agree, hit the thumps up button below.

Everything at jet Runway was amazing. Highly recommend. The staff, the food and the location were outstanding. Made our event an A++. John Abresch made sure everything went smoothly. They were great!

A great restaurant for brunch watching planes depart and arrive right in front of you. The atmosphere nice and our waitress was very attentive. I will definitely come here again. The food was also amazing. In the attached pictures is the Full Tank customized.

Very unique place and handle our large party with ease. Food was good too. Was able to spit the bill but we made it work!

The set-up is almost sports bar without the bar, but with the noise level. To reference there was music playing but could hardly be heard over the conversations of the other patrons. Noise factor was not much of a bother, but it was definitely there. Sports bar like, also because of the 3-4 wall mounted TVs, which I payed little attention to because I had a pretty decent view of the planes landing and taking off, that I enjoyed.
Most tables were occupied, however service was pretty good considering. The staff was very attentive and accommodating, came to the table numerous times to ensure everything was okay and to check if we needed anything else. My kids got 2 Frisbees which was a nice touch.
There was not a too lengthy of a wait, although the food would have definitely been worth it. Phillycheese steak sub was fresh and hot with your typical peppers, onions and cheese (I had my leftovers the next day and it tasted the same if not better!). I had a bite of the crunchy French toast which was a delectable crunchy orgasm in my mouth. Sweet potato fries and regular fries were good as well. Grapefruit mimosa went well with my meal. They even give you remaining champagne, so you can get 2-3 more glasses of mimosa if you so desire. I had the unsweetened tea, which was okay. Overall, a great meal and experience, cant wait to return!
