Mountainside Deli

Stopped from out of town on our way to Harper’s Ferry. Incredibly kind, hospitable service, and the owner was hilarious and a joy to talk to. Ordered the turkey provolone with all the fixings and I can honestly say it was the best sub I’ve had in years. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Passing through on the way home and very high quality, delicious food!! Platter meal plus soup came to $20. Wait time was close to 20 minutes but it's all made fresh and worth it! Spacious picnic tables outside to eat in the beautiful weather. Friendly staff and right across the street is the historic market stand.

Absolutely wonderful food. The bbq sandwiches and the crab soup are fantastic! I’m stopping by every time whenever I go hiking in the area again.

My daughter and I have made it a tradition to stop here every summer, and it's one of my favorite places ever! The food is amazing - the BBQ sandwiches are incredible, and I always eat my daughter's leftover chicken tenders because they are so good, ha! Fries are excellent too. And the people are so nice! We need to start making the trip more than once per year!

Can't believe I had not reviewed this place sooner. Owners are super friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, and they work hard to maintain their quality.

This is my second time here. The owner Julie is absolutely awesome, great customer service. Today I had pork BBQ with coleslaw and fries. The food was phenomenal, I absolutely loved the coleslaw. Im picky about what coleslaw I eat. I bought a container to take home. I'll definitely be back. If you've never been here stop by say hi, order some BBQ and enjoy the food. 5 Stars for sure.

My Dad and I love this place! He says their pulled pork sandwich is the best one in the area. They also make a great Turkey Bacon and Rueben sandwiches. The owner is also very pleasant.

Wow, what an unexpected experience. The best homemade potato chips I've ever had, the food was fresh and flavorful and the service was above and beyond. Great place to eat, will definitely come back. Highly recommend!

This deli is outstanding. Julie is terrific. The food including potato chips are made right there. I challenge anyone to tell me the food isn't the best. The chicken salad is all white meat and a meal. My home health nurses told me about them. Now when my family visits we order from the deli. Price quality and service can't be beat. It's nice in Boonsboro where everything is local. Julie gives excellent care on each order.

My son and I just had lunch/ dessert and it was excellent! Big sized sandwiches (pork BBQ and Pit Ham) and the ice cream is the best around! Worth the drive! We will be back!!

Whoever gave one star on this place must have lost their darn mind THEIR FOOD IS AMAZING. Julie was incredibly kind and the prices are fitting. Milkshakes are delicious. They didn't skimp on the portions either. A new favorite spot for the family :)

The food here is absolutely delicious and always made fresh to order! The French fries are always cut fresh when you order them and the pit beef sandwich here is one of the best I've ever had! Even though it's not always available because it's hard for them to keep up with the demand, the pulled pork BBQ sandwich is to die for! If it's not available when I come in, I regularly check for it and most times they have it when I return. It is a small place and normally only run by one person, but very few times do I have to wait long for my food. The staff is very friendly, quick, and accurate when producing their delicious works of art! Highly recommended!

First timer here. My turkey sandwich was very delicious. The lettuce was super crispy and crunchy, the flavor of my sandwich was great. Julie was super kind, told me i could call in advance to order and she'd have my food ready. The sandwich was filling. I will be back.

Just came back from surgery. Julie gets 5 stars on her soups. Home made obviously. Nothing better post OP than homemade Chicken Soup.
Big problem, she sells it faster than she can make them. Load up folks.

Cool little eatery. All I had was a cherry snow cone; which was totally refreshing. All the food coming out smelled great. Staff was really nice & friendly. Place was clean.

This is my family's 'GO-TO' #1 FAVORITE place to eat since relocating to Boonsboro 6months ago.. the food is home-cooked & always amazing.. the young lady that owns/operates cooks/serves our food is OUTSTANDING!! & ALWAYS SERVES US WITH A SMILE!!

Wasn't expecting much and WOW did this place really impress!! I had just got done hiking a bit of the Appalachian trail to find Annapolis Rock and Black Rock (missed them both because I was staring at me feet and not signs) and put in more than a few extra miles.

I got done and made it back to the car, and I was a literal hot mess. Pulled up directions to hit this place up. Confused at first because it's actually tied to a florist. Nowhere to sit but in my car (the inside was closed due to COVID). I ordered the chicken bacon and ranch sandwich, fries, and an Oreo mixed ice cream thingie (not a shake). I knew that I wouldn't finish it.

The girl working there was super friendly, she brought it to my car and held my Oreo thingie for later. The sandwich was so amazingly good. I expected something with 10% effort and a microwave. Not at all. Super fresh, and hot, and one of the best I've ever eaten (no lie) with all of the ingredients mingled perfectly within. Fries were really fresh and HOT. I couldn't finish the fries (I tried). Almost ate the paper that the sandwich came in. Oreo thingie had chunks of Oreo cookies. So, so good. I would move to Boonsboro just to eat people's leftovers once a week from here. No lie.

Julie makes everything FRESH. It's tasty and most affordable. Perhaps the best food in town. Portions are large. Enjoy. She does a great job and worth supporting. You won't be disappointed.
