I visit Walgreens just about every other day. Employee Sherrie and Amy are outstanding. I rely on them for good service and advice. I feel a true sense of concern for my well being.

94 yo Mom diagnosed with Strep by Dr. on a Thursday afternoon, went to pick up antibiotic on Friday morning (knowing they wouldn’t have it ready same day from previous experience), and it still was not ready! Asked to come back after 3! This is not a refill, or a maintenance drug. It’s an antibiotic for an infection. All the Walgreens on Columbia Tpk/Rte 9&20 need to do better! I will be switching my moms prescriptions to another pharmacy locally NOT Walgreens

As a RiteAid...this store WAS great...no more.
I've totally had it with this particular store... due to a lack of professionalism by the Pharmist...her staff misinformed the status of important prescriptions, which forced my doctor to call in adjustments ...they then incorrectly filled too many drugs...when I pointed out the error...they refused to refund the mistaken and
unneeded expensive items.
Very unfair and not what normally I would have expected.

For the third time, the pharmacist has taken it upon themselves to exercise substitutive judgment and failed to fill a physician-ordered non-controlled prescription, whilst also failing to notify the patient or doctor they had done so. While the medication was not immediately covered by insurance, in all 3 cases the list price cost was less than $100. However, the pharmacist decided this meant the patient would not want to have the medication and simply did not fill it, and did not notify the patient or the doctor. In the first instance, I asked them not to do so, and told them to always fill medications regardless of cost. In the second instance, I reminded them of how choosing this behavior was exercising substitutive judgment, causing a patient to be without medication, and outside their scope of practice and likely liability insurance. We are now at the third instance, which means a public warning due to safety risk, and written complaint to the Board and Walgreens corporate. This is a significant change from the pharmacy and pharmacist of even 2 years ago. I used this pharmacy exclusively for 11 years and recommended it. I now must warn against using this pharmacy due to the new pharmacist and her concerning choices.

The recurring problems I have encountered in obtaining a critical medication have not only caused me unnecessary stress but have also put my health in jeopardy.

Every single month, I have faced inexplicable difficulties refilling my prescription at your pharmacy. The most disheartening aspect of this ordeal is the fact that each time I encounter these issues, I am given a different excuse, which only serves to exacerbate my frustration.

To outline a recent incident, I called in advance to ensure that my prescription would be ready for pickup on time, given my upcoming vacation plans. The automated response initially indicated that no prescription existed for me, forcing me to endure over 20 minutes on hold to finally get through to a representative. The misinformation I received was distressing and unprofessional. After this unnecessarily long wait, I was informed that the prescription would be ready by 10:30 am the following day, and I even received a confirmation text message to that effect.

However, when my partner visited the pharmacy as instructed, there was no prescription ready for pickup. The blame was shifted to my doctor, with your staff claiming they had called it into the wrong location. This explanation is not only unfounded but also entirely unacceptable, as this prescription is a routine refill, and there is no possible way for my doctor to make such an error since it has already been called in.

These recurrent issues have reached a point of complete exasperation. Not only has your pharmacy wasted my time and caused immense stress, but it has also jeopardized my health by failing to consistently stock my life-saving medication. This is an inexcusable lapse in service, and it reflects poorly on the reputation of Walgreens Pharmacy.

It is my sincere hope that this feedback will prompt you to address these issues promptly and efficiently so that other customers do not have to endure the same frustrations and health risks that I have faced.

This location has consistently poor service. Yesterday I had surgery and had prescriptions sent to this pharmacy. I arrived after an hour later and they told me they would be available tomorrow. After pleading with the person she told me an hour. I decided to go in to talk with the pharmacist. She came over to me with a stern defensive stance and look, I advised her I was in severe pain from surgery and asked if she could get my meds done asap. She said "There are 10 people in front of you. Its going to be an hour." And no one standing in line.

Pharmacy is an absolute joke to deal with. Highly recommend going elsewhere. Drive thru hasn’t worked in over a month. Staff don’t know how to do their jobs.

Think twice, think 10 times before considering Walgreens for your Prescriptions. Disgracefully incompetent And each different person will always give you the wrong information. Guaranteed you will get your home delivery of Meds after you run out And more likely not at all !!! Ridiculous amount of time holding on the phone waiting to speak with someone. No notification at all that your medicine will not be delivered to you so you are left on your own not knowing if you will get it or not. They don't care if you receive your meds or not, and of course meds save lives. This they do not know.

Arguably the worst pharmacy I have ever seen. Terrible service, chronically slow, need to get it figured out.

Worst pharmacy I ever had to deal with in my life . They are constantly out of a drug you may need or there is a problem filling it . . Then you call in for a refill and go to pick it up, pay for the drug drive home and find out it's not the drug you called in . I ask myself are these people on drugs .

Seriously what is wrong with the pharmacist at this location? I came in for COVID testing and had an appointment but was told they couldn’t accommodate me since I arrived early. They said it has to be within 30 minutes of my appointment time, but there was no car behind ours.

We have to leave for the airport and now I have to find another test location outside of Albany.

I find it absolutely ridiculous that they couldn’t accommodate me even though there was NOBODY behind my car. And it was a rapid test. Give me a break!

The pharmacist should practice compassion and care but this one is totally 💯 being nasty to the customers.
