Great Customer Service at this location! Placed an on-line order and needed to pickup the same day from a 1hr away drive and the manager Zack was very accommodating and took care of me to make sure my order would be ready for pickup, especially 5 days before the Christmas weekend! Bud in the hunting and guns was very helpful and friendly! Excellent Customer Service! Wish all Academy locations had great Managers and staff that care!

They didn’t have what I needed but definitely had an awesome customer service experience and the floor person went above and beyond looking for the item that I needed ( although it was too small for me ).

I found the spices that I was looking for and more. Nice selection of grills and smokers plus accessories. They have quite a few things that I have been looking for. Now I don't have to travel all over the metroplex. I'm very satisfied with my purchases and I will be back for more.

Ordered a firearm online and I picked it up at the store. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

It's an alright kept store. Good location where it's by the parks mall and restaurants but still on it's own spot somewhere else on Arbrook. The prices, I'm sure you can find cheaper elsewhere but you do have the convenience of a brick and mortar store.

All the 4 young men that assisted us in placing the fully assembled wood pellet grill in our vehicle, which was a very tight fit, we thank you! They were so diligent in their efforts and they accomplished getting this heavy grill to fit in our vehicle. I didn't get their names but they should be commended. Everyone in this store is very customer focused!

I had good experience buying at this store. I found the basket and brakes for my daughter bicikle it's always full but cashiers are so fast line to pay its was to long but it takes about 10 minutos to pay I like this store.

This is a fantastic store; we’ve bought everything from clothes, fishing rods, hunting and recreational equipment here.
Friendly suggestion, there’s always good sales, pay close attention to the items you want and get feedback from the store employees on when they put these items as mark downs and you’ll generally save 20-30% on your purchases.

Great store. This location has always been a family oriented environment. The staff maintains a fluid workplace with great communication.
My most recent purchase was a firearm. They handled my order well and was very informative regarding anything I asked. They follow their safety policies to the T.

Lots to choose from for all sports. I would like them to make the Dallas Stars area bigger but that’s just because I love them.

Went to the store to buy fishing poles. Didn't make a purchase here but they had a variety of poles here. They also have all kinds of camping and outdoor gear. Would recommend this place if looking for gear in arlington.

I buy all my ammunition here they have a wide variety of calibers usually in stock.

It was a feast for the sences ,the store was prime for the picking stocked to the nines. Staff were every were willing and able to help the store is one of the few here in Arlington,Texas that makes it were we, people in wheel 💺 have easy ability to go any were in the store with NO PROBLEM GETTING THERE.. I love it even the restrooms are easy in and easy out and that is saying a lot becuase I am 6'5" and 360pounds. I spend the average of 2-3hours when I go there they have always helped if I can't reach something this means a lot they always thank me for my service. Yes I was in the Navy for Life retired 100%disabled veterian personely I considered my self physically challenged. I still can do so much we adapt and over come and we ask for help in things I can't do. Any how I went in for ruff casual saddles that cover the toes and straps in the back an tim helped me find them up every isles till he found them then he got on his knees and toulk off my right shoe and tried a size 11 then a 12 and size 12 was it well done young man it made my day that he toulk the time and patience to treat me as nice as he did his parents should be proude of him he is a asset to Academy sports.that is why I go back over and over oh pluss the prices are low for the good quality products we get that last..

Found the infamous "hunting pants" at my local Academy and the price isn't too shabby. I'm quite happy I didn't purchase them from Amazon cuz I saved some money lol *GREAT QUALITY MATERIAL AND EXTRA STRETCH
