I am writing to thank Dave who gave me a tracking number looking it up on a transaction last week! He went beyond the call of duty. Deserves many thanks for helping me track an overnight delivery to Pocatello Idaho. Of importance. Great service. 👍

I see a lot of poor reviews here but I have had only a great experience with this post office. When I went in to mail something the lady was very helpful and patient. My packages are always left in a safe place. I called today because I missed a package 2 days ago and she was happy to help me have it redelievered tomorrow. Everyone I have interacted with has been polite and pleasant.

I've had nothing but great experiences here, I send at least a package a week. The staff has always been kind to me and answered my questions with no problem. Also, the gal who usually delivers my mail is very nice. She makes sure to keep our packages out of the rain and even leaves a biscuit for our dog with our mail.

Very kind staff. I've never had an issue here. Sounds like the people who do have problems here should look into a mirror first. It's not anyone else's fault you're miserable. Stay inside then. They do their job well here. I don't go anywhere else!

This is the second time where I've ordered a package from Amazon & unfortunately the post office was in charge of delivering it. It was 35 pounds & our mail person refused to deliver it. I thought you had a requirement of being able to lift 70 pounds? If you can't lift 35 pounds maybe time to retire??? I have a newborn & had to find a sitter to go pick up my package. Guess what? I easily lifted and walked through 3 doors to get out of the post office with zero help. I left a message for a supervisor to call me bc I wanted to make a formal complaint bc this has happened multiple times, and of course they never called me back. Very unprofessional but what can i do, right? Its not like I can change who I deal with, and they know that, don't they? At least the young man I spoke to was kind and understood my frustration. I have a feeling the older employees think their job is untouchable, and that's the problem.

Well just because someone has a bad experience dont mean they need to look in ther mirror. Used my debit card there over a week ago did not get anything and have still not received my money back. Called every day and keep getting the run around. Other than that yes they are friendly just need to learn how to do refunds of ever needed again.

I dread when I see USPS is delivering my package. Postwoman is rude and unfriendly. Acts like my “good morning” or “hello” is an insult. Actually gives stink eye and doesn’t respond. And don’t let there be one snowflake on the drive or have your package weigh over 20 lbs because it won’t be delivered. And it’s so fun on a Saturday when you get a note that package “can’t” be delivered and they close at noon. Try to get that package on a Saturday before noon. Good luck. Sometimes the truck isn’t even back. I used to feel bad with how USPS employees were treated and all the mess with their retirement funds and attempts at cost cutting and privatizing, but no sympathy anymore. Customer service is not what they do. FedEx almost as bad. Love UPS, now those drivers know their business and they deliver like they actually like their jobs.

The post office delivers! Not if you live on Larry Lane.
Just added pictures of the mail truck on Larry LN. I've been told several times they aren't allowed to deliver on Larry Lane. Someone lies.

New guy at the Cortland office is a bit overzealous. “Busted” me because I sent a cookbook media mail. They are splitting hairs on this because it’s not “instructional” in their eyes and media mail rate must be instructional books. I get that there are folks abusing media mail rate with boots or jeans. But cmon?! The staff is usually top rate. But I guess the new kid is trying to make his mark. Won’t be going here anymore. Feel bad for the other clerks because I liked them.

Been having a problem with our mail man for some time now. He comes back to our house throws packages curses shakes his head everytime he comes back. We've had mail thrown beside our mailbox packages dropped on the ground and have stacks and stacks of pink slips from so called delivery attempts on top of what we have already thrown out. On the other hand we have packages smashed into the mail box that say fragile or do not bend or fold but with a package that fits it's left at the office. All of this started after we asked for him to stop throwing fragile packages across the porch or leaving them on the ground at the mail box which is 500yds away and can't be seen at all. Unfortunately after Eugene left this office went down hill fast. Now we have to drive 20 miles round trip every other day to get packages. The post office supervisor is afraid to do anything or say anything to the workers or correct the problem. There are a few good workers there in the office but I've just had more bad experiences than good.
