This is the best hidden gem in central mass. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Everything from horror paraphernalia to wet specimens and everything wonderfully bizarre in between. And if you’re lucky enough to get there around Halloween time, they have a fantastic outside display that is unique each year. I got some great pictures of my friend in the electric chair last year. We had a blast. I definitely recommend this place if you like weird stuff.

Wonderful little shop I stumbled upon on my drive one day home from work. If you like the spooky, the scary, ghostie, weird, historical and down right awesome, then come check it out. All kinds of things to strike many peoples fancy. The shop owner is very knowledgeable and can tell you about everything in there. They have a fb page and Instagram, where they update new finds. The only bad thing, is because there's lots of old things, it can be a little musty smelly in there.

Absolute BEST! Such unique items and the owners are the absolute nicest and honest people you will ever meet! Selection for all different interests and if they don’t have something you’re looking for, they will try to see if they can get it or keep an eye out for it. Such a fun store!

This place is amazing. It’s truly unique and has a lot to offer for a smaller store. It’s a true horror fan utopia and the owner is very pleasant and helpful.

I finally had the chance to visit Scarce this past weekend and can’t wait to go back! This place rules!! Eliot was extremely friendly and knowledgeable!

I picked up some goodies including a Victorian mourning hair wreath. Eliot knew all about it’s history which made it even more meaningful.

If you’re into oddities, this place is an absolute must.

This is a call to macabre enthusiasts! If you have any interest in taxidermy, bones, biology, horror, spooky or occult then this store is an ABSOLUTE MUST VISIT! The sheer volume of product infilling this space is absolutely incredible. The owner is super friendly, knowledgeable, and his prices are unbelievably modest for the products that he has to offer. If you’re anywhere near West Boylston, Massachusetts this place is a mandatory stop for you! Definitely going back as soon as I can to try to comprehend even just a little bit more of what is contained in this magical shop!

The best oddity shop we have been too! We have made this our go-to for any creepy home decor, skull collecting and we get all our gifts here. Not only will you always find something to leave with but you will want to spend hours looking at everything and talking to the awesome owner.

I finally got a chance to visit scarce oddities in West Boylston. I heard a lot of good things through friends who are avid collectors but didn’t realize how cool of a spot it was until I saw it for myself. That perfect Venn diagram of Halloween, horror, bones and spooky!

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. This is such a cool hidden gem for anyone who loves horror, halloween, or serial killers. Highly recommend going and checking it out. We could've spent hours just looking and talking more with the owner. Love how close to home this is and how freaking cool it is! We got this cool metal heavy sign and lots of pins!(:

So excited that this place is so close to me! I’ve been dying to go to a shop like this and accidentally stumbled across it when I took a wrong turn. Bought the little lizard statue in the first picture for only 4 dollars! (My pet bird is attacking it) All the specimens and the antlers were also very reasonably priced. Such a fun place and can’t wait to go back.
