Had’s indian cuisine

This was my first time at this restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised with all aspects of it. The inside is very nice, better than pictures show. The buffet has a great selection of mild Indian food ( my mouth can’t handle spicy food) . The staff extremely welcoming , polite and attentive. I had three different staff approaching my table.
Just an above average experience, with amazing food that looks fresh, taste fresh, and have a clean and organized presentation. The naan was also delicious, and the price is great. I’ll definitely return.

We’ve been going here for a few months and keep forgetting to review. We’ve visited all the Indian restaurants in Milwaukee and surrounding areas and this is by far our favorite.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. They remove your plates when you’re done with them in a timely manner and ensure you have water at all times. Water is included in buffet price but have other drink options available. We’ve gotten the tea and it’s very good.

They have a big variety of food including several desserts that are all good. They have vegetarian and some vegan options as well.

They are kid friendly and I’ve seen them interact in a positive manner with other kids and our own daughter.

Parking is in a parking lot and there’s always plenty of spots available.

This is further from our house then the other Indian restaurants but we always go to this one because food is always fresh and tasty and staff is always welcoming and attentive.

Price is less than other Indian buffets too but food is definitely better. 🤗

If you haven’t tried it out I would definitely suggest doing so, you won’t regret it. We’ve gone with family and friends and they’ve all loved it too.

A truly hidden gem! If you enjoy Indian cuisine, this is the place to go, small buffet set up however each dish is clearly made with amazing ingredients and care. I tried every dish and they were all amazing! Great vegetarian options as well. So glad I was introduced to this place! Great price also!

My husband and I ate here for our very first time tonight. The food was excellent! The service outstanding. I had a lentil dish and my husband had the coconut beef curry. Our Naan bread was delicious. We both had a beer from India. At the end of the meal, they brought us warm towels to clean our hands. Overall, it was a great experience and we will be back.

Finally got to experience this buffet after seeing it on Facebook for so long, and boy was it worth it!!!
I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy food, and they prepare the food mildly. So I was able to try so many different things!!!

They also provide lots of sauces and condiments to add to amp up the spicy, and my family were all enjoying those too.

We will come again!

My experience with Fried fish & curries with Fresh butter Naan are too gud .

Wow, what a great place. Food is excellent!!! Staff is very friendly and patient. Choices are large on the buffet. The flavors were excellent. Everything tasted very fresh. The decor, all though simple, was nice and very clean. My son and I had the buffet, which we will definitely return for.

We finally had the chance to try the lunch buffet today and it was fresh and tasty. My husband loved the tandoori chicken which had a deep grilled flavor. They had a wide variety of options. I loved the bread and butter chicken. Everyone was super friendly and it was exceptionally clean. We will definitely return.

I recently visited Had’s , and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a memorable meal.

The menu offered a fantastic selection of dishes, each bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. I particularly enjoyed the Bhel Puri, which was a perfect blend of savory and sweet flavors. The presentation of each dish was also impeccable, truly a feast for the eyes.

However, what truly set this restaurant apart was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that every need was met throughout the meal. From recommendations on the menu to timely refills , the service was top-notch.

Overall, my experience at was exceptional. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience with great food and excellent service.

I was in town for a friend’s birthday and wanted to grab something to take home for dinner to enjoy after I made the long drive bAcl — so happy I chose Had’s!!

Ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala (spice level ‘hot’), Chicken Korma (spice level ‘medium’), Chicken Biryani, Garlic Naan, and Butter Naan. I recommend these all, but especially the Paneer Tikka Masala and Chicken Korma with the Garlic Naan!

Had’s has ample GF options and vegetarian options. Parking was great, too, if that’s a concern. Didn’t sit down as I was doing take out, but the restaurant environment was clean and welcoming! I’d come in for a sit down meal if the circumstances allowed it.

All was excellent. I’m honestly bummed they aren’t located in the STL area so I could go back whenever I want!

Will absolutely be returning next time I am in town!

After seeing numerous mentions of Had's on Facebook, and being a HUGE fan of Indian cuisine, I decided I needed to try out the lunch buffet.

Conveniently, Had's was open on the 4th of July, so my wife and I went for lunch.

We were sat immediately, and went right up to the buffet, filling our plates with a little bit of everything, knowing that we'd have to save space for a second plate at least.

The first plate was mostly vegetarian dishes, all of which were incredible. The star of these was the Paneer Shahi, of which my wife said "This is the perfect Indian dish".

Our second plates were mostly meat, with a mix of chicken and goat dishes. Again, nothing disappointed. The naan was light and fluffy, and the fried Poori was also great.

Dessert was some gulab jamun mixed in to some kheer, and was an absolute delight.

Had's is now our #1 Indian Spot in MKE, and a contender for best restaurant overall.

EDIT: We went back for dinner, and had the Shahi Paneer, Saag Paneer, and Had's Chicken Curry again, all ordered at medium spice. Dinner was just as good, if not better, than the lunch buffet. Had's is our new go-to spot for Indian in MKE (and we've had a LOT of Indian food)

Very delicious and will be coming back. The service was great everyone was so nice. We had the diner for two the non vegetable option. Highly recommend to try a few options. We will be back to try the buffet next time. Also a very good price for the amount you get.

Came here for dinner after wanting to eat here a few weeks. It didn't disappoint. It was cozy and warm atmosphere. Great service and great food. The lamb briyani was excellent. They even gave a warm towel at the end, I loved that. I will be back InshaAllah.

Best buffet currently in the Waukesha/Milwaukee area. Fresh selection of authentic Indian cuisine. The day I went they had a great grilled fish special on the buffet. Wonderful service as well.

My husband and I love attending the lunch buffet at this restaurant. The staff is always welcoming and attentive. The food is incredibly delicious and there is a wonderful variety of foods offered. The prices are also reasonable.

Came to Had's Indian Cuisine for the Lunch Buffet, on a Saturday. Walked in around 12:45 pm - the place was packed! Everyone was eating from the Lunch Buffet.
The variety of food on the buffet was generous. The foods looked very pretty, and their flavor was also very delicious!
I took small samples of many of the items, and was not disappointed with any of them.
There is a dessert section of the buffet. It was very colorful and yummy.
At the end of the meal, I was full and happy. 🙂

Best egg curry I have had outside of Asia! Super nice and friendly and the food was amazing! We found our new favorite Indian place! So accommodating and easy to work around food allergies too!

I really enjoyed the food at Had's, the appetizers especially were great. For authentic Indian papdi chat and samosas, it's an excellent pick. The chicken korma also stood out as particularly delicious.

Finally had a chance to try the lunch buffet here. It was delicious. Just walking in, we commented how wonderful it smelled. There were two soups, numerous entrees, salad, sauces and several desserts -- something for everyone. My favorites were the lamb curry, fried fish and chicken tandoori. They bring warm naan to your table. The food was fresh and regularly replenished. Service was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.
