Great selection of beer and single barrel bourbon. The lady that was our server was super friendly and fun to joke with. We all split a Tachos appetizer and then had the chicken sandwich which was very tasty. We may go back again tonight as the server said their cheeseburger is amazing as well.

Great brewery in Downtown Bardstown. They have a large selection of beer along with food. We only tried a pretzel, but it was really good! The outside patio area is a great space, and they were setting up for live music the Saturday evening we were there. There is not a dedicated parking lot, but we had no problem finding parking nearby.

We came in today for a late lunch. We were seated promptly with super friendly staff helping us. The food came out really fast, which was great because we were whiskey hungry from our tours! My husband had the smash burger, and I had the salad with grilled chicken. We shared the fried pickle app and it was really yummy:) The fries were really good too, perfectly hot and crunchy! The watermelon cocktail was Awesome 👌!

We are visiting from Georgia and had planned on visiting Talbot Tavern for dinner. We met several locals that STRONGLY suggested we not go there (said the service is poor especially to tourists and the food is just ok) but to try Scout & Scholar. We are so glad we did!! First of all, our waitress Tiffany was absolutely wonderful! She guided us through every decision made. We got the Tatchos, Bangers & Mash, and gluten free Steak Smash Burger. I also had the sour beer flight - Peach within Reach is so good! Food was wonderful and the atmosphere was great! We hope to visit again

Our experience at Scout & Scholar was fantastic. Our waiter did a phenomenal job and always checked to make sure we were good. We both also really enjoyed our food. The beer was fantastic. I got to try a flight of all five of their sour beers, and they were delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! They also have a gluten free menu for those that need it.

We had a blast here! It was recommended by a friend, and when we checked it out it definitely met our expectations. Service was great and there’s bar seating, dining seating, and an upstairs lounge area where they also host bingo nights! The food was really good, we weren’t too hungry so we stick with starters. We’ll be back!

The beers are amazing 🤩. Get the sampler! They have a good bourbon list too. Also tried the fried pickled basket with fried jalapeno, sweet peppers, onions and pickles-so good! Outdoor seating too

This is a busy place, especially on the weekends, but if you can get a table you’ll be happy you did. I got a flight of their beers, two of their “Scouts” (the more inventive, unusual brews), and two of the “Scholars” (made with tried and true brewing methods), and they were all delicious in their own way. Their beer menu is extensive, and they only offer in-house or collaboration-brewed beers (no Bud on tap or anything like that).
The food was pretty delicious, although I personally found some of it over-salted. I recommend the brunch — they have some really fun options.
The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We ate outside on their patio, and it was a pleasant atmosphere.
This place is definitely worth a visit.

I wish I had a place like this near me. Wonderful beers, a great selection of bourbon, and the food was excellent. It's also just an absolutely beautiful venue (the decor is so cool - you gotta check out the paint can art in the side room - it's brilliant!). We could have hung out here all weekend, and there's a game room upstairs too! We loved it!

We absolutely loved this place. Really interesting beers split between scout (adventurous) and scholar (traditional) - with something for all tastes. Everything we tried was excellent. They do bourbon flights and cocktails too.

Food was so good we ended up eating there twice. Erica was a fantastic host and looked after us both nights we were there.

As a former fan of the craft beer scene, this place excited me in a way I hadn't felt about beer in a long time. The tap menu is extensive and has variety abound. The food was also very good for a brewery. My wife got the wedge salad and I had the chicken Bahn mi. We split the pretzel for a starter. Out of the beers the 40 mile breakfast was outstanding!

Cool atmosphere with several seating options including bar, near bar with TV views, quieter second room and outdoors. Nifty collection of their own beer maybe 2 dozen offerings. Good food and two prep/presentation options on several items (scout and scholar). We waited about 10 minutes for a 3 top on Sunday. This seems like a popular place.

Went for a Valentines date with my fiance, the food was great, our server was attentive despite it being busy, and the building was gorgeous. My fiance doesn't drink, and i can't due to medical reasons, so i have no input on that. Overall, we had a fantastic time, and i would definitely recommend going!

OUTSTANDING!!! This needs to be on your list if you come to Bardstown!! The food and beer was amazing, all of it. The service and hospitality is ultimately what pushed this to 5 + Stars. Thanks to Sydney and Kevin for the service and conversation.

P.S. Looks for the hidden gnomes....

We loved this place! The pretzel appetizer was delicious with queso and a bbq/ honey mustard dipping sauces, the pretzel was huge. We both chose the The Scout burger which was one ofvthe best burgers I've ever had! Truffle fries were amazing too! Super cool atmosphere, outside seating area and a good selection of games to take to your table to play. The service was great also.

Had lunch recently, and it was excellent! We were a party of three, and started with the nachos. I then had the BLT, and another in the party had the chicken salad. All of the entrees were cooked perfectly, and the BLT was great! The nachos had a nice zing to them, and the chicken salad was also great. Plus, they have an awesome beer menu. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Bardstown.

We are traveling and like to find cool spots along the way. Fantastic place! Comfy chairs and lots of beers to choose from, we ate and taking some ‘snacks’ for rest of our ride. If looking for something local…CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!

One of the best places to eat in Bardstown. The pretzel is a great appetizer. The prime rib sandwich was delicious. The restaurant is always clean and staff are very attentive.

What a great spot in the heart of downtown. Super clean establishment, beautiful decor. Great beer selection, and the food was hot, fresh, tasty.

God check it out. You won't be sorry. The staff was nice, And in a time where most restaurants are struggling to find enough people to stay open, these folks had an army of people running around.

Keep up the good work guys!

Cauliflower is amazing. I really liked the kale salad but it could use a few more toppings. The chicken wings were awesome. Our server is top notch and everything has been great all night.
