The classic used bookstore experience. A brilliant smell, a great selection, and helpful friendly staff make this the perfect local bookstore. Definitely worth a trip.

The staff is friendly and hard-working. I don't live in Maryland anymore, but this is by far the best used book store that I've found, and I go back every year when I am in the area. I go only for books, but I know their music and movie selections are also large and diverse.

Staff is always ready to help with questions, and they allow you to stay for hours without interruption if you're looking and reading through things. An absolute dream for book lovers to relax, as long as you don't mind sitting on the floor or stools.

Best place to buy used books. Found entire Harry Potter Set for way cheaper than any other store. Highly recommend

Great place to get books dvds cds and records all for an affordable price. And they have bins where they sell dvds for $.99 to a $1.99

Took some used books to sell and it was a very simple process. We ended up taking store credit and spent it that day.n

For a book lover this is like a dream come true. Insane amount of books in every genre populating every corner of the store. They even have movie rentals in the front. Prices are equally as insane (in a good way). This and 2nd and Charles were well worth the trip from Pittsburgh!

Searching for a less than main stream folk singer of the 60s so hard to find. Found two of his albums. Glorious

Wonder Book and Video is always a highlight of a trip to Hagerstown. They have such a large collection of used books, I love browsing the shelves and exploring. You can also take books here to sell - they price by the box and you probably won't get as much as you would selling individually but they will take everything and it is very convenient. I always take the store credit option, which is more than cash, and can easily find something to buy inside.

Also - if you can't find what you're looking for in store you can go on their website to search the warehouse and have it shipped to your house for free shipping! I think you can get a discount to ship to store instead, but it is so convenient to have it come right to my door.

Drove an hour to visit Wonder Books and I’m already planning my next trip. Helpful staff -insane selection-totally worth the trip.

The mist incredible hidden gem! Found an incredible deal on four like-new Hall & Oates vinyl records and a beautiful personology-relationship book. I will be returning! The place is spacious, clean, and to every book, comics, blueray, dvd, vinyls, or t-shirt lover--- the atmosphere is true perfection. 😍✅🙌

This place is awesome. You never know what you are going to find.

I love the collections and the old book smell. I really love going there, especially for comic book single issues. I can spend like 30 bucks and get a lot. I even found some autographed book. Staff is easy-going and have a wealth of knowledge...a perfect place for a nerd like me.

I could get lost here! Amazing selection of used books. My only issue is as a librarian I wanted to organize everything using Dewey 🤣

I did notice some mold in some books but other than that, I'm in love with the place.

An incredible selection of books and will give you decent store credit for books you are looking to get rid of. They have books you didn't even know you wanted.

An utterly wonderful used book and video store with a collection big enough to rival the ancient Library of Alexandria. There is so much for every taste: Cheap VHs tapes, first edition books, comics, Blurays, everything. 5 Stars.
