Shout out to our new favorite bar tender Cierra.... kills it every time.
We've been there several times now (Mondays for karaoke) and not once have we been disappointed. $8.99 burger night is a no brainer. It's really hard for me to pick a favorite because I've been gladly surprised at how good ever plate has been. Fish tacos, fish & chips, streak quesidilla, "The Finnegan" (so good) and the NY Pastrami (it's legit) I did mine on the marble rye.
It's just another fantastic hidden gem in Port Charlotte.

If you like Arby's fries, get their curly fries here. They're better here. Amazing impossible burger and fresh salads. My boyfriend LOVES their boneless wings. Great atmosphere with daily events and specials to enjoy. Good prices. Good portions. One of the best places to eat American food in Port Charlotte for sure!

Love Finnegans. This was the first place I started going while fixing our home after hurricane and I was there a few nights each week since we didn't have a kitchen. The staff got to know me and were very friendly. Several locals are here regularly and always watch out for other folks. Truly a family vibe here. I'd love one quiet night here each week but that's just not what everyone else wants so they have great live musicians and music trivia and karaoke and people have a great time here and the food is really good. Specials every night of the week. The fries with cheese and bacon are amazing. The boneless wings are half a chicken breast each. Everything on the menu is good.

This is the quickest I've ever gotten my food 😆 but... Ruben is the best. Chili is the best... tried the chicken tortilla... fabulous. Can't beat the half sandwich, soup combo.

Great hometown bar feel. Karaoke was great, food and drinks were spot on. Met some friends we haven't seen in quite a while...this was a perfect place to catch up and enjoy a fun dinner and time together!! Will not disappoint.

First time there. The Finnegan was like an open-face roast beef sandwich but with prime rib & garlic mashed potatoes with the yummiest gravy ever! Perfection! Our server, Alicia, was incredibly efficient & oh, so sweet. Played the DJ Bingo game. What a blast! Doug is a great DJ! Check this place out for tasty food & entertainment! Oh & the bartender has talent!

I recently visited Finnegans Saturday night for the first time after being invited to join my friends for their music trivia event, and I must say, it was an absolute blast! The place was buzzing with excitement and the energy was contagious.

The highlight of my evening was definitely the music trivia. The questions were challenging yet entertaining, keeping everyone engaged and eager to show off their knowledge. The atmosphere was electric, with the whole crowd cheering and laughing together. It was evident that the staff had put a lot of effort into organizing this event.

Now, let's talk about the food. I ordered the chef's salad as my dinner meal, and oh my, it was an absolute delight! The flavors were fresh and vibrant, and the combination of ingredients was simply mouthwatering. The portion size was quite generous too, with a huge plate that left me feeling satisfied and content. I appreciate when a restaurant pays attention to both taste and portion sizes.

The service at Finnegans was also commendable. Despite the bustling crowd, the staff managed to stay attentive, ensuring that everyone's needs were met. The waitstaff was friendly and efficient, providing timely service throughout the night. Kudos to the team for their hard work and dedication!

Overall, I had an incredible time at Finnegans. The music trivia night was an absolute blast, the place was packed with enthusiastic people, and the chef's salad I had was a delectable treat. I highly recommend visiting this place if you're looking for a great time, good food, and friendly service. Finnegans has definitely earned itself a permanent spot on my list of favorite hangout spots in town. I can't wait to return for more fun-filled evenings!

Vizcaya Lakes Community had our ladies lunch at Finnegans Grill Pub and it was a very good experience. We were at least 35 women and everyone enjoyed themselves. The food was great and our waitress was the best. Such a nice clean place to dine. I will definitely be back😀

Pretty nice place, they have my favorite beer Smithwicks. The owners are awesome! Bridget and her Allie are really nice!

They have Burger Monday lunch when a burger and fries combo are only $5.99 - you can't beat the price. We ordered a burger and a cheeseburger. Both were juicy and tasty and were heaped high with toppings. We chose to eat outside, cuz, you know why, and we were the only table in use during our lunch. Service was good and friendly. I'll definitely go back again.

Came here with a family of 5, one vegan and two teenagers who eat a lot. Our server was amazing, he made our experience. Many menu items were customizable to be vegan and the non vegan meals were great as well. Live music was fun and a rowdy atmosphere!

Best local Pub around!! Food is awesome, not just your average bar food, waitstaff is beyond fabulous, and the fun and games, such as DJ Bingo and Trivia nights make this an everyday hangout that is family friendly with tons of fun! Family owned and full of charm 😍

$.99 Wing Wednesday is amazing. Boneless wings are massive. Service is kinda slow but everything else makes up for it.

We went here and had such a good time! The nachos are unbelievable and the entire staff are so helpful and friendly. The patrons are way friendly and seem to be mostly local. Its relaxed and fun and in a great location. Dont tell anyone we had too much fun but we did!

The corn beef rubin was good with the curly fries, the BLT with curly fries also good and the small house salad (pretty big) with the 2-12 oz. for $6 beer deal even better.

We have never had bad service or bad food here! Spent the afternoon here on St Patty's Day 2024 busy but awesome❣

Jen’s Wings are the BOMB!! Definitely try them. You will LOVE them. Yummy

Happened upon Finnegan's on St. Patrick's Day and knew we would be back. Food was good, service was great even though it was very busy!
