Love it! This store is in a great location. Everything is organized in a user-friendly way. They have a good selection. I'll definitely wander back in.

Great new and used book store. Decent selection and very comfortable to browse through. Sci fi section made the husband happy and the interesting art and craft book section worked for me.

We were staying in Amarillo for the weekend and we decided to stop by this little bookstore.
They have a good selection of used and new books ranging from history, harlequin, mystery, sci-fi, classics, and more.
There's also a kids room in the back with children's books and seating.
Best of all, I finally found the collection of classic western writings I've been looking for, and at 1/3 the usual price.

Next time we're in town we'll definitely swing by again!

Very cute used book store! As a reader it gets expensive, this place makes it much easier to encourage reading. Especially when you can meet a local author!

Very clean. Well stocked. Very organized. Warm, friendly and welcoming.

It's got the undeniable used-bookstore-joy of going in for something specific, like innocuous Darcey Coates books about spooky stuff, finding yourself S.O.L in that regard, and walking out instead with a blind buy that turns out to be an extremely gruesome splatterpunk novel that Barnes and Noble would never dream of selling.

So yeah, pretty cool store.

Great bookstore with a wide variety, between my husband and I we bought 7 books! Reasonably priced and conveniently sited.

I am a writer and book stores are my love. I had already visited the Burrowing Owl in Canyon Texas and met the owner Dallas. I have been there twice since. We were on another signing event in New Mexico of my novel "The Reckoning
of Rance," a book about modern day Texas ranching family, beginning their end and others still fighting hard for their way. The book signing ended and brought me back through Amarillo on my way back home. Once back in Amarillo, I stopped first, the store at the location at ' From 6th Street Collective' and saw the beautiful setting there for Burrowing Owl Books. Afterwards we made our way over to the bookstore in Amarillo. Such beautiful store. We made our way through it, where I visited one of my personal favorite parts of this store and that was the private sitting room with a nice high back chair with row after row of westerns written by Louis L'Amour. I loved it. Make it your point to visit this store. Independent book stores are so important, especially for you.

Burrowing owl books has Great books at great prices so put the pedal to the metal and keep on trucking. Honk honk
