Blackhorse Mercantile & Cafe

We Love this place. Such a nice restaurant. Great place to have a date night. I had the Chicken Ranch sandwich, it's amazing. Even the Hubby enjoys it!

Blackhorse is always top notch!! All of the employees are friendly and know their business! Most of the live entertainment is great, however the entertainment last night fell below the standards we are accustomed to at Blackhorse. I did speak to the manager about small children running up and down the staircase unsupervised, After I witnessed one, small child fall down. OK

The food is delicious! I’ve had the meatball sub, turkey club, salad bar and tomato basil soup. ALL was outstanding. The inside is beautifully done, I love the woodwork at the bar. Definitely a great addition to the town!

The tomato soup and grilled cheese were tasty. My daughter had the turkey avocado sandwich and really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly.

Really cool building, well built out and designed.

I thought the meatball sub was great and my guest enjoyed the turkey club with avocado.

I hope they add some entrees to the menu in the future but overall a good start to this venture.

What a surprise in a small town. Food was fantastic, make sure to order whatever the special is. We had the turkey Chipotle sliders. And we had to order one to go for later it was so good. We also had the water melon salad and i would put that lemon drizzle on everything! Service was fantastic and the atmosphere was modern luxury ranch with a nod to the history of the building. Beautiful architecture especially the ceiling.

Being a part of the Blackhorse family has been a tremendous blessing in my life. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is so unique and beautiful. I have had the pleasure of working beside Mary who is one of the sweetest and most professional women I’ve ever met. She is truly so kind and a wonderful team leader. The last 8 months have been so great and I look forward to many more years with Blackhorse Mercantile and Cafe!

This was a wonderful cafe. I had the Philly sandwich with fresh made horseradish sauce. Delicious!!! The building is remolded with original building flair. Service was great and the manager, Mary Barrington, personally checked on me and was so friendly and kind. I’ll definitely be back!

I absolutely love blackhorse. I love working or eating at blackhorse the staff is amazingly sweet. I have never had a negative experience here. Mary is always so sweet when I come in to eat or to come to work. She is always walking around welcoming customers and talking with them. She is always super sweet when they come up to pay or just in general. I definitely recommend blackhorse!

This eating place is fabulous. Hope they open a second on in Weatherford. The kindest wait staff, food was awesome!! The manager is a wonderful Christian lady (Mary) who is very accommodating!! They are very blessed to have her!!! We will be back!!!!

This is a great new addition to Breckenridge and we love it being located down town! So cute and has the best staff! Chasity was an amazing bartender and my most favorite waitress thank you so much ! Also wanted to thank Mary for all your help everything was fabulous 🤍

Stopped in for a mid afternoon lunch. Ordered the French dip and had a couple Dos-XX to go along with it. Was a little slow, but understandable for that time of day. Would imagine it could get pretty busy in there with the large amount of tables they have. Well worth the stop for a decent meal. Service is good and friendly. Seating area is clean and tidy. Will for sure stop in again next time I'm in Breckinridge.

So happy there’s a place like this in Breckenridge now! I travel to Breckenridge at least once a week for work and it’s tough to eat fresh and clean there.

I had the Turkey Avocado Club and it was absolutely delicious, but will definitely be coming back for the salad bar. There’s even real cool bar area with draft beer and wine.

I will for sure be making this a regular lunch stop.

Everything we had was amazing! The salad bar is very fresh and well kept.
The baked Brie is awesome soooo…..good!!!
The charcuterie boards are definitely a winner.
Try this place you will not be disappointed!
