Ellen's Planted Tea

Visited Ellen’s Planted Tea for the first time yesterday, and I will be back!! Lovely, calm atmosphere, beautiful plants all around displayed in a way that makes sense, and a nice selection of tea you can drink in the store or take out. I ordered a pot of assam, and it was served in a sparkling glass tea pot and real cups and saucers. Megan’s steeping suggestions were spot on. She also has a good selection of herbs and teas to buy in bulk. I can’t wait to come back and to send friends and clients here. Ellen’s Planted Tea was a spot where I could take some deep breaths of clean air, and feel refreshed and relaxed.

It was so adorable inside and the worker was so kind, they even offered to re-steep our pot of delicious tea for free! Such a calming environment just to sip on some tea, definitely will be going back.

In from out of town and went to aggieville. So many cool shops so I knew there had to be a tea shop somewhere. I googled and found this gem. I walked with with a list of Ingredients of a tea I can no longer purchase. Michael was so helpful and 25 minutes later, he had the blend perfected and also steeped up a few cups for us to try. You want a knock your lights out tea to help sleep, ask for the LaDonna sleepy blend. He logged the recipe for future reference. Outstanding customer service and quality ingredients. Thank you Michael.

I love the plants and the tea here! It's an excellent place for tea beginners and experts! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, Ellen herself is very cool and can answer any questions! They sell to go cups of tea, tea leaves (original blends and loose leaf types like Assam, Oolong, Yerba Mate, Darjeeling, Ceylon, etc) and herbs and spices and local honey! They also sell tea pots and steepers and it's a very lovely and chill place!
I bought a few types of tea and I'm excited to try them at home! A friend recommends the Ellen's Oolong blend that has a cinnamon finish!

10/10 would support this local business again!

This is a perfect combination of two that I love - tea and plants! I may have to be stopped.😅

My experience here is rather unique. I had not been a patron before today, and technically still haven’t. But this morning, my dog got loose. And after an hour an a half of chasing him down, I finally got him wrangled here. I have severe asthma, and it had finally caught up to me. The workers noticed I needed help outside and quickly rushed to our aide. They sat my dog down and made sure he was leashed and not going anywhere else. They helped prop me up against the building and gave me water to help prevent what would have been a potentially life-altering or worse asthma attack. They gave me a phone to call my fiancé, gave my dog water to help him get back to help, and even helped bandage up his foot when I noticed he had cut it on his escapade. They made sure at least one person stayed outside with me until we were all standing and ready to take my dog home.

To the man and woman from Ellen’s who helped me today, your actions created a higher probability that you saved my life and the life of my dog. Thank you.

Great selection of quality plants and really cool people that work there. Also a good spot to sit with a cup of tea to get some work done. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love the new store! I have bought some tea and a couple plants from Ellen and will definitely be back in the future.
