Great place to have a good time with family or friends. I had the Cuban sandwich it was great. Lots of games to pick from to play. Well lit, plenty of room. Owner was super nice & sweet. Highly recommend checking it out!!

Stopped by this joint on a recommendation from a friend. We met up with my 4 year old daughter and we had a blast. Our drinks were great, the food was great, and there was a really nice selection of games for every age. We enjoyed Hungry Hippos, Count your Chickens, Guess Who, and Perfection! Everyone had a wonderful time.

Super low-key and super friendly. They make their own bagels! Nice, focus menu on breakfast items, brunch items, sandwiches, very personal service. Cupcakes are frosted to order!😍🥰 TONS of games - big shelf-full. I had a delicious breakfast burrito while my son opted for the quesadilla. Very good coffee, coffee drinks, and smoothies.

The Sweet Lair is the best. Fantastic atmosphere for playing games with family and friends. The food and drinks are great. I look forward to going back again.

Heard good things about this place and wanted to give it a try so my brother in law came on a Saturday morning for Bible study. We were impressed by the coffee, drinks and prices. Seeing all the sandwiches, quesadillas, smoothie bowls, cupcakes, muffins, smoothies, and laughing cow ice cream we wanted to come back with our families. A couple weeks later we did! We enjoyed the great food and deserts while we played the games perfection and sequence. This place has every board game and card game imaginable! I highly recommend you come visit The Sweet Lair

I recently visited sweet lair not only serves coffee but also has a great selection of ice cream, smoothies, and pastries. The friendly and helpful staff who made my first experience enjoyable. The atmosphere was perfect for family time, with an area full of board and card games. If you're looking for a fun and welcoming place to enjoy coffee, ice cream, or cupcakes, this is the place. I recommend this place for anyone who wants to enjoy a family-friendly environment.

I have had the pleasure to use Sweet Lair for personalized birthday cakes and also visited them at their storefront. I have never been disappointed. The cakes are both delicious and visually gorgeous. The owner, Bri, is always smiling and her happiness is infectious. Sweet lair is always flexing with new and exciting events and foods. I haven’t had a chance yet to try out their breakfast menu but drool over everything I see. Also the location is family friendly and my toddlers had fun playing the games provided. 100% recommend.

Always a favorite for me and my wife. Staff go above and beyond. I don’t understand some reviews complain about the lack of customers, in the morning, on a weekday. Chances are those people are probably working. I’ve also read/heard complaints about food portions and prices for this place. This sort of thing is happening everywhere! If you’re going to add this sort of negativity to a small, local business, you should also review and add the exact same thing to every other place that sells food stuffs. The food is very good, the atmosphere is very comfortable if this is your sort of thing. I’d recommend coming here at all times of the day to get a proper sense of what The Sweet Lair gives to the community.

We love The Sweet Lair for so many reasons. I’m not sure where to even start so I’ll just list some of our favorite things.

For food-
We love: the smoothie bowl, boba smoothies, the coffee flights, the lattes, the ice cream flights, macarons, (did I mention the ice cream flights? 🤣), the homemade bagels, all the paninis and the build your own cupcakes! They also make all our birthday cakes and have been for years, even before the cafe opened.

The atmosphere-
Really nice and cozy. Big tables and small tables. There’s a larger gaming area with a door for a bigger group seeking a little more privacy. My favorite is a cute semi-private area for a date night. So many boardgames! My husband and I reserved the date spot for our anniversary last year and spent the afternoon enjoying each other’s company playing some great games we hadn’t tried before and indulging with tasty drinks and treats.

The people-
Always friendly staff. Very transparent with their business and eager to correct any potential wrongs as they are a newer cafe and training staff.

The cost-
IMO the menu is about average cost compared to other coffee shops in the area.

What a fantastic and unique place to visit! The coffee was delicious. We had the coffee flight and it was a nice selection to try. The staff were super friendly and personable. A great place to play family board games and hang out. The kids enjoyed the ice cream variety. We definitely will be back! Next time we plan to do the design your own cupcake.

We love to have brunch here while playing games or just sitting and reading. They have great coffee and food and an expansive game collection. Highly recommend the sweet lair!

Awesome place to get food, coffee, ice cream (even Blue Moon!!!!), desserts, and games. Nice cold water on tap for everyone and free WiFi with a huge selection of activities. Awesome!!

I stopped in with my walking group. We were able to reserve the little room in the back. The drinks, food, service and atmosphere were wonderful. We will be back.

Cute spot. Lots of flavor choices for the coffee flight (12? Options). Was busy on Saturday morning. Hopefully they can add more seating in the future, it seems like there's room for more tables.

Stopped here with co-workers for lunch yesterday. Our sandwiches were good. Loved the variety of boardgames to choose from!!! What a fun place! Wish I had something similar to this back in NJ. The ice cream we ordered before we left was also AMAZING!

Usually I'm not a big Cafe person, but recently I've found myself in here for a few hours every week. The entire staff here is super friendly. They have good coffee, and fantastic Chai.

An amazingly chill place for coffee and games. Also the baked goods are unbelievably delicious. If you have a chance to try the macarons, without a doubt -- do! They are an absolute treat.

Bri was fabulous to work with, so sweet and helpful with creating a custom cake design! She was flexible with pickup arrangements too. The cake was as delicious as it was cute!

Heard about this place and had to come check it out while on vacation in the area. My kids and I loved it. They kept asking to go back each day of vacation. Taking my crew of kids to a coffee/ dessert place would normally scare me. (Don’t want my kids disturbing others). The place and staff were all very kid friendly. My kids could play games, enjoy cupcakes, and simply be kids. Best of all I enjoyed delicious coffee while they were happily entertained!
