Great food. The plate I had a ate leftovers 2 more mornings. Place is clean and tidy. Has yellow walls. I'm just not a yellow guy. Waitress was timely, friendly and meal was out pretty quick.

Great food and staff. Old building small town cafe and all its charm. Our family members eat here often.

Great find using Google Maps. This small town main street style diner is a total blast from the past but in a good way. Everything about it is a tribute to all main street diners especially the friendly staff. I am sure they knew we were not locals yet they treated us like locals. The food is very good with large portions. The coffee was great and my cup was kept full. The restaurant is in an old store front but is well maintained and kept clean. You can tell it is a local favorite.

Well, homemade apple butter hole. 😋The Breakfast special includes 4 big, thick strips of bacon and a half order of biscuits and gravey. Yep, that's a HALF order 👀
Our server actually made the apple butter and it is the best I ever had and was a delight.

So very friendly! The breakfast was cooked to order and fast! Large portions couldn't eat it all!

Biscuits and gravy were delicious. Good portions. Service was friendly. Had both smoking and non smoking sections.

We have been eating at JJ’s for several years. Breakfast is probably our favorite meal One of our other favorites is the special dinner meal they serve once a month on a Monday evening of Broasted Chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, salad bar, dessert and drink for $14.99. Reservations are required.

My first time here, and it was so good!
I had the hot beef sandwich with iced tea. The meat was tender and juicy, and the potatoes were really homemade! I chased this with fresh brewed ice tea, which was exceptional. Lastly, the waitstaff was knowledgeable, sweet, and professional.
Very much worth your time and money.

Great find! Very good homemade breakfast served all day. I always look for good homemade biscuits and pancakes, and they had both.

Our server was on top of it. Friendly and kind. We could tell she knew her customers well and made sure we had everything we needed. Plus the food was very good. The bacon was amazing thick cut prime slices and the sausage patties melt in your mouth.

Separate entrance for non-smoking side. If you don't use it, you wil be walking through the smoking section. Food and service is exceptional. Very generous portions. Try the cinnamon roll. It's BIG and its amazing.

Simply Amazing! Service was top notch and food was delicious! If ever traveling I-70 between KC and ST Louis I recommend!

Very nice and quaint place. I broke down, and while waiting for repairs, I was told to check them out. I'm glad I did! The service is what you expect in a small town. They let me stay as long as I wanted while my truck was being fixed. Sabrina and Riley went above and beyond to be sure I was comfortable. I'll stop here even when I'm not broken down.

JJ's is AWESOME! It is everything I want in a diner. It was like taking a trip into my childhood. I loved it. The food was hot, came at just the right time, was enough to feed an army, and absolutely fantastic.
Service was authentic, genuine, and on point. The people and atmosphere were perfect. It would almost be worth moving to Odessa....Almost 😉
