This is a great spot with a large menu of brewed coffees and teas. They were open on Sunday, and they have a small dog-friendly patio too. The iced jasmine tea was excellent, and so was the iced coffee. They bake fresh muffins and cookies. The owners are friendly and gave us tips on the local area.

I visited here for the first time last Thursday, and had a delicious, made to order iced coffee, and a beautiful, homemade carrot nut muffin. I had a pleasant conversation with the owner as she was making my order up. I visited again today, this time with my husband. We both enjoyed our custom, coffee order, and dark, espresso, muffin, and cranberry pumpkin muffin. Once again, enjoyed a friendly conversation with the owner and her husband. I would definitely recommend Paradise coffee!

I absolutely love stopping here for coffee and a tasty snack every time I travel to La Veta. Today we had a Carmel latte and a walnut, carrot and spice muffin. Both superb! The owners are so sweet and friendly. I brought a friend up with me and had to show her my favorite little stops and she has mentioned multiple times how much she enjoyed this little shop and the conversation with the owners. I’ll continue to stop in every chance I get!

Great coffee shop! Coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is very La Veta (laid back and inviting)! They serve VERY large muffins and cookies.

We stopped in to Paradise Coffee yesterday to grab some quick coffees. My purist hubby got the dark brew of the day and I had my usual cafe mocha. Both hit the spot. We were offered a homemade cookie or muffin before paying and, silly us, declined. After finishing our beverages we decided to get a couple of muffins to go for dessert later that day. OMG, the HUGE carrot cake type beauties were absolutely scrumptious! So big we split one. I can totally appreciate baked perfection at high altitude. Highly recommend their coffee and baked goodies!

Stopped in for just an iced coffee, but heard the large beautiful muffins were a personal recipe and homemade there, so had to try them. Our group got blueberry, chocolate espresso and carrot walnut. All were FABULOUS! That ended up being our lunch, and it was one of the best lunches ever. Highly recommend the coffee AND the muffins!

EXCELLENT ! ! ! Ended up here based on reviews while road tripping to the Sand Dunes. Absolutely 5 stars! Their knock off of Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce latte was actually better... Lighter and not as syrupy. All of our 4 coffee drinks were great. But the Muffins and giant cookies are clearly their specialty... super large and crazy flavorful, and baked fresh on site ALL day. And the owners behind the counter were really nice to! So yes, drive the 3.5 miles of the highway and go here!

Friendly staff and a perfect road trip stop in a cute town. Not to mention great coffee, we didn’t try the pastries but they looked great too!

Great find! Been here twice . We loved the coffee I had iced chai latte and a giant chewy chocolate chip cookie. Muffins were crunchy on top and flavorful. Atomsphere is homey, great place to catch-up with a friend. I especially loved talking to the informative couple that owns this shop. Bonus they also have outdoor seating

Passing through LeVita don't miss Paradise Coffee- fabulous dry cappuccino and memorable muffins, yet, best part of this Coffee Shop are the Owners and Atmosphere! Very hospitable, knowledgeable and down to earth owners who serve up an atmosphere that will have you staying awhile watching the local color on Main Street while making acquaintances of interest just sharing this space! And coming back for more! Oh, dont forget, Farmers Market happens in their parking lot on weekends- mmmm mmm good! My best memory of Paradise Coffee is how it made me feel- welcomed, satisfied, having fun and connected to good folk!

Went on a Sunday, and it was one of the few places open. The people were so nice, and the area is absolutely gorgeous. I definitely recommend taking a stop here if you are passing through, whether its to Cuchara or the Great Sand Dunes. This area is a little slice of heaven, and this Coffee is a little spot of heaven within heaven. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I stopped by off the Train. Great coffee , Barista was so friendly and nice we stopped by the next day for another cup but they were closed.It was before noon on a Tuesday. I wish her the best of luck , maybe sending someone to the train platform with some discount coupons might drive your business off the train a little . Love it though , go if you have the chance

The cutest little coffee shop in all of Colorado!! The owners are so friendly and the coffee and baked goods are beyond delicious!!

My husband and I love this place! We first came here 2 years ago while we stayed in Cuchara for our wedding. Now we've come back twice during this stay. Their panini are delicious and their coffee is 10× better than Starbucks!! Definitely recommend!

My business partner and I traveled through La Veta last winter. We stopped by and had a cup of coffee and the two best breakfast sandwiches either of us had ever had. The selection and atmosphere was fantastic. The people, genuine. It was a real treat. This year, when we returned (9-20-2015) We made sure to make the trip back to La Veta in hopes to find that little coffee shop still open. As before, we were more than impressed. Everything was delicious and the people there were very welcoming. It was a pleasant experience yet again, and I look forward to returning next year.

The homemade muffins are absolutely delicious and the owners are very congenial people

Amazing coffee, great decor, friendly staff, clean bathrooms, and tons of information is available about the town from pamphlets to a concierge like book that details what is available in the town. Might be a bit tight for the wheelchair bound, but should still be alright!

Fantastic little coffee shop right on the main street in La Veta! Great coffee and appropriate snacks to go with it while on a morning stroll. Very friendly and homey atmosphere with local artwork on the walls. I plan in stopping here for coffee when passing through La Veta!! Great job!!
