Cuchara Mountain Mercantile

Attended a wedding celebration here in September and had a wonderful time. Great venue for events. Beautiful views of Baker Mountain at bottom of ski lift.

A small but very cozy place with a respectable supply of souvenirs. The food is above average and the staff are exceedingly friendly. A very small town feel in a beautiful setting serving the very best hamburgers in Southern Colorado. Yes, thats right, the best homemade buns and burgers south of Colorado Springs!!

Our family & friends had a great time here. We stopped on our way from Stonewall. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and the coffee was delicious. We even got to visit the farmers market and highly recommend if you have a chance to stop by! We will definitely stop by again soon! Thanks from your friends in Texas! ♥

Excellent food made from scratch.

Great hospitality, and those muffins they bake fresh on site are delectable! We had company coming, and I nearly bought them out, but, have no fear, they had some fresh ones just coming out. For breakfast I had a waffle with sausage, and both were very tasty. The coffee is free as is the proprietor’s kindness. I’m eager to go back for lunch, but I bought a mini loaf of fresh baked bread to make some mini-grilled cheese sandwiches for the kids this afternoon. Grandma fun with food starts at Cuchara Mountain Mercantile today! 💕

The Cuchara Mountain Mercantile has drinks, snacks, canned foods, t-shirts, backpacks, fresh baked foods, ice and fresh fruit . Staff is very friendly and inviting. Breakfast is served all day. Menu/Order forms are conveniently located at the front register. Free coffee! There are several places to sit and eat or you can get your food to go.

We enjoyed the shopping, cafe and atmosphere. Friendly helpful staff and owners. The food was delicious. A little bit of everything you might need for a stay around there. Its a beautiful place with great hiking.

This place can do wedding events, parties, or any large gathering with on-site housing and catering facilities. Mini golf - MTB - snowboarding- skiing - snowshoeing - hiking are all activities you can enjoy now and with more to come. Usually have parties for major holidays. Come out and enjoy amenities of the Rockies without the $$$$ of a mega resort.

The Sandwiches are so good! Make sure to get it on the homemade bread and you will be so impressed! They also have shirts, snacks, and a FREE mini-golf course!

Wonderful people working downstairs. Always welcoming newcomers and a great place to grab a quick breakfast, or look at the old ski resort. Really quite awesome!

I haven’t had a meal this good OR this cheap since I have came to Colorado! The sandwiches are absolutely amazing!
