The Rex Cafe

Wonderful and positive environment, realllllyyyy good coffee. They offered glass cups for dine in which we appreciated. Everyone was so kind and inviting. Beautiful interior and lots of seating options. We sat upstairs and the view was great. If I ever visit Pensacola again, I will be back! Great price as well.

I recently did a coffee flight down Palafox and had this place on my list!

Atmosphere: Located at an old movie theater, this coffee shop brings an old Hollywood movie vibe to life! They even have a little, secluded sitting area on the side by the windows which gives a bit of privacy and coziness.
Service: The barista who was there the day I went was friendly and helped me choose from their current specialty drinks.
Menu items: I had there small Biscoff Latte and loved it!

The coffee shop is a unique addition to the downtown area🫶🏼

Very unique coffee shop, unlike any others we have ever been to!
They had some unique flavors. The store was very cute with a pretty church in the back. The staff was very nice, and the coffee tasted great! ❤

This is such a a cool coffee shop. The employees and coffee are great, but the atmosphere is so neat! I didn't try any of the food, but it looked good. I would absolutely recommend this place.

The biscoff latte we ordered is maybe the most delicious coffee beverage I’ve ever tasted. They have a good selection of tea and coffee, and truly cozy seating. We didn’t get to sit in for a theater event, but it seems really fun and will be coming back to try it out. This is a great café to come read, work, or just chat a while. A gem in the panhandle, highly recommended 🙌🏼 ☕

I tried the Biscoff latte and—oh man!—did it taste exactly like a Biscoff cookie! So good. Great coffee options and wonderful atmosphere of Pensacola charm. Definitely check it out!

Love the Rex Cafe - We have a women’s Bible Study who meets here pretty regularly and it’s a great space. The staff are SUPER friendly and it’s downtown. Location is great and everyone there is VERY welcoming and helpful! Lovely coffee shop to read or meet with friends to catch up!! We are VERY grateful to meet on a consistent basis at the Rex Cafe! I highly recommend their signature drinks — They’re my favorite! They also have tasty teas. ☕ Check this place out if you’re looking for a good cup of Joe!!

Every time I enter the Rex Café I'm greeted with a smile. Best of all the drink that I receive at the end of the bar is made with excellence and quality. Definitely my go to coffee place!

We were served by Faith today and we were SO impressed! She made the best lattes we've had downtown, knew her stuff, and had great customer service. I love the atmosphere at the Rex! Never let down.

Everything on the menu is wonderful! Love the different flavors of Shaken Espressos and Iced Lattes. And the cinnamon rolls are off the charts amazing! 😋

The coffee here was immaculate, and so was the music I loved the animal crossing and Nintendo lofi being played. My only complaint is that you are closed Sunday but other than that wonderful place and a wonderful place inside of the theater lobby.

This is a wonderful Cafe to stop and grab a specialty Brew. The owner is fantastic, employees are very friendly and kind. All the drinks we had were expertly crafted and a lot of care and consideration goes into every creation. Definitely a great place to stop for a coffee fix on Palafox!

The woman that served me was AMAZING. She knew everything about coffee and even made me a drink she has never made before and it turned out delicious! Great customer service and atmosphere!!

1930’s movie house converted to wonderful coffe and espresso shop. Tons of seating and wonderul staff. Relaxing.

This is a really cool place to go for a good cup of coffee. The coffee came out nice and warm, but not too hot. The service was very friendly. The space with retro and unique because of the church/old theater. I'm definitely coming back to this place again.
