Wolf Grounds Community Coffee House & Cafe

What a delight coffee house, tucked away in a beautiful location next to the Big Ditch. Very personable staff. They have traditional coffee drinks and some amazing custom drinks—I loved the Golden Milk. The menu has just enough to offer for food to. The pancakes were heavenly!

"You need to see this cafe," my father insisted. His excitement both confused me and sparked my curiosity. Why was he so insistent on us visiting this particular coffee shop? It was hot that day, and I was hangry. We walked through the door, and a beautiful demi goddess named Melissa greeted us. "What can I do for you?" She said. Her smile beamed and I was lost for words. Who is this angelic creature, and were we worthy of being in her presence? I wanted to test her, so I said "surprise me." I could see it in her eyes that this exited her. My family and I were sitting outside, enjoying each other's company. Melissa came out with our drinks. She looked me right in the eye and handed me a white colored drink on ice. When I took a sip, I knew it was the nectar from the gods that I had learned about in middle school. We ordered several gluten free empanadas. They were beyond amazing. I turned to my partner and asked him in a hushed voice "is everything that Melissa creates amazing?" I put my question to the test when I visited the next day. The answer is yes, everything that was available on the menu is amazing, because Melissa created it. On my last day visiting my family in Silver City, I went to Wolf Grounds a third time. My entire family had to be in her presence one last time. Wolf Grounds is not just a coffee shop, and Melissa is not just a barista. It is an experience, and we were lucky to have the opportunity to be in the presence of such a mystical and beautiful woman. I will go back to Silver City not just because I miss my family, but to have the pleasure of visiting Wolf Grounds.

Delightful cafe! The drinks and food were wonderful. While eating, we heard other customers exclaming how much they liked their food also.
We will be visiting again soon! Ample outdoor seating if you enjoy sitting outside.

So wonderful. The person working this morning is a great barista and an awesome person and I had such a lovely morning there because of them. Drink was good and burrito was good and amazingly cheap. Really good experience :D

Great coffee, great people, great space

I've enjoyed the food and friendliness of the staff. Now I'm wondering if they are closing down. Saturday there were no eggs or pancake batter, Sunday at 1:30 they were already closed for lunch due to lack of customers, and today (Tuesday), they were closed completely at 10:30 am.

I Love the food choices...I wish there were more options without cheese

I am a past employee, and the owner of this shop is extremely unprofessional. She does not follow proper food safety, she disrespects her employees and I’ve found out that even after I haven’t worked there for months, she continues to talk badly about myself in the community and spread rumors. She has gone through a ton of employees each one leaving because they were extremely disrespected and at the same time she won’t accept anybody’s advice or listen when anyone tries to offer help. Don’t get me wrong, the employees she has are great and her cook is really good!! However it is an extremely toxic environment because, no matter how much experience you have, in her eyes she has more and so her way goes.
