My original plan for this old print of my grandma's senior photo was a brass/gold frame and no mat, until Sunny mentioned we could do something to accentuate her blue eyes which is an idea that hadn't even crossed my mind. I've always been told by my family that I have her eyes, and the fact that they thought of that without me mentioning it is just so special. Worth the wait and the money! Now excuse me while I sit and stare at this for the rest of my life

There are so many art supplies. I just wandered around in the tiny shop for half an hour, soaking it in. Absolutely wonderful!

This is the best art store and frame shop in the mountain west. They have more calligraphy supplies than you can shake a pen at. And best of all they know what their talking about.

Always good to work with these guys, they are very efficient and have you on your way as soon as physically possible.

Best place in Helena to buy art supplies. And the BEST best place to get your art framed. I own an art gallery and. I'm an artist, so I'm picky about my recommendations. Hands down, Martha Johnson and her crew are meticulous, accurate, on time with their framing - and fair prices. Deb, who owns the biz with Martha, is on top of the kind of art supplies artist in Helena are seeking. In spite of the difficulties in obtaining materials in our current environment, Deb works hard to make sure that us artists have what we need to make our art! I truly appreciate their existence and Helena and support this small locally owned business with all my heart.

Fantastic store whether you need something framed, want to buy a standard frame, or are looking for materials for a project. So many cool things in this store. You can browse even if you don't know what you want to do.

Wonderful staff that go above and beyond to help you with any art supplies and picture framing questions. I came in with a 24x36in picture that I needed framed quickly. I was hoping for a three day turnaround. Needless to say they got my frame and picture with glass ready for me within hours. Thanks a ton😁

Honestly, this should be your "Go To" for any art supplies you need. They have a good variety of great quality products and will gladly order in any in depth specifics you might want if they don't carry it in store. They are very polite, courteous, and very helpful here! I only shop here for my new art supplies.. Don't miss out

Got a Sta-Wet Palette and a few birchwood panels from here. Love that they are locally owned and have a variety of high end materials. Would love it if they carried more Golden products, like the Heavy Body Acrylics though.

Took in photos to be framed -- very satisfied with friendly, creative and helpful service. Owner is former Ben Franklin framing manager. Took all framing requests to her. Will continue to use and recommend Queen City Framing. Costs a little higher but outstanding results make it worth the price.

Wonderful local art and framing shop. The ladies are creative and helpful. The prices on the art supplies are a little higher than online or at the box stores but it's worth it for the friendly and competent service.

Amazing experience and very helpful insights when custom framing art pieces. Tons of choices for framing and mats. So glad they know their business otherwise I would have been there all day!
