The Wasted Ink Zine Distro is a hidden gem in the Phoenix area! They have beautiful works from a variety of artists available for purchase. There is a library area as well! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. It’s such a nice space for creative support and fulfillment.

Wasted Ink Zine Distro is a haven for people who love zines and *the* place to find your next favorite read! I've been shopping at and visiting Wasted Ink since 2017 and Charissa and everyone who works there is always friendly and available to recommend zines or answer questions. I bring my kids to Wasted Ink and we hang out, find new things to read, and sit down to draw with the supplies they have available. Thank you for being a safe place that supports zinesters <3

You do not have to be an artist to enjoy this amazing space! Fantastic finds for all interests, whether you like poetry, fiction, comics, photography, illustrations, or beyond! I always find something special here, and almost always walk away with a handful of gifts for friends. Great price ranges as well, and certainly a fun date idea or a quiet place to rest on your own 💕

I work with teens and was sent to buy a couple zines, the store is really cool and has such a variety to choose from. Truly something for everyone. And the people who work there are just so so friendly.

Absolutely recommended. Hundreds (maybe thousands?) of different and diverse zines, as different and diverse as the people who read and write them. Very friendly, open, welcoming, inclusive environment. It's not just a distro—it's more of a COMMUNITY.
And I feel that the owner/founder, Charissa Lucille, deserves to win the title of Best Arizona Businesswoman.

I cannot stress enough how wonderful this store is. The workshops and community outreach. The exceptional selection of works. The diversity of the authors. Zines are so important, and wasted ink works tirelessly to empower anyone to make their art and share it with the world.

Attended a book binding class here with my sister and we simply adored it! Made a lot of cute sketch books for ourselves. Very nice space with helpful people

This is a mecca of art, music and bohemian creativity. I went for an art opening of a friend. There's a coffee place, funky retail, back patio. Art gallery opening third Friday each month.

Reminds me of my Berkeley days...art collective, free space, creative space and a rad owner!
