The Bike Lab is absolutely fabulous! Jake is knowledgable and is very honest. His work is always great and he explains it all well. He takes all bikers seriously, even us goofy older ladies...

Dropped in late on a Friday looking for help installing a rear bike rack. Jake could have charged us for his labor, but he insisted it was no problem - had us back out the door in 20 minutes. Will definitely support this business the next time we are in town!

The perfect spot to get any kind of bike fixed, I have a road bike in the 5k-10k range and they did a tremendous job tuning it up. Will be back!

Jake, the owner/operator is awesome! I went to his shop immediately after buying a used bike to put some new pedals on it. He was so stoked on my "new bike day" he helped set up my suspension, and did a minor tune up right then and there for free. He was super knowledgeable and was really able to help answer all of my questions that I had about my first full suspension Mt Bike. Great guy, will definitely be bringing my bike back here. I wish him the best of luck with his new business

I drove an hour to anacortes to ride the local trails. I had a major break down issue with my bike. I called The Bike Lab and the owner Jake was such a nice guy and happy to help me out.
The bike shop is clean, organized and in a great location!
Jake went out of his way to fix my bike and get me back out on the trails with in an hour.
He truly saved my day!

Jake has really done a great job on his shop The Bike Lab. He’s a great mechanic, and has a cool store with just about everything you need, and nothing you don’t. Worth the 30 min drive to Anacortes to have him work on my bikes.

Stopped into this store for the first time to diagnose a minor chain issue on my new Diamondback Haanjo. Shout out to Jake, he was able to fix my chain in a matter of seconds and taught me something new about my bike. Jake definitely knows his stuff and the shop looks like a bikers paradise - I will definitely be back soon for a full bike tune up. Support this shop!

Fantastic experience with Jake today when I brought in my Trek ebike to ask why it wasn’t shifting as smoothly as it used to. He had it up on the lift, diagnosed & fixed in about 15 minutes. A totally positive experience!

Clean, organized service-oriented shop in Anacortes. I was passing through town to start a tour of the San Juan Islands and had a bike creak. Amazing. I came in to look for lower gears while on tour because my knee was hurting. Jake went out of his way to help us and ended up giving me a bike fitting. My knee pain is gone! Watching him work on my bike was magical - he was efficient and adjusted every problem he saw without asking for extra payment. 11/10 would come back any day.

I was out riding my road bike through Anacortes while on a camping trip and I happened across The Bike Lab and it's owner Jake. As someone who is an avid cyclist and has 20 years experience in specialty retail, I must say this guy and shop has got it going on. Meticulous attention to detail, beautifully appointed service shop with the best quality tools and a finely curated selection of product that is masterfully merchandised makes this the go to shop in the area for service and parts.

Jake is awesome. He has fixed my Kona Honzo DL up multiple times. The best is when it's just a quick fix and he fits me in right away so I can get back to riding. And I've seen him do this for multiple people. His new shop on 8th is very nice.

Needed a little bit of work done on my bike, brought it in at lunch and it was done by close. Jake not only fixed my chain, but realigned my rear cassette so my chain would run smoothly. Very reasonably priced.

We happened to go by the Bike Lab as we went through town on a long distance bike trip. We stopped in to see if we could get a derailleur looked at that wasn’t shifting well. He was able to work on it right away and got the problem solved. He even recommended a good restaurant so we could get some lunch while he worked on the bike. Very helpful!!

Great service and attitude! Jake's professionalism and friendliness totally counteracted my stupidity and anxiousness after I left my front wheel at home enroute to Orcas Island. This and the incredible weather and trail conditions this last few days made this a very memorable trip. Cheers Jake!
