Marcella's and the After Hours Cafe

Wonderful food located right in downtown! Employees are very warm and inviting and the FOOD IS AMAZING!!! I'd say 98% of all the food is made fresh and presentation is good too. Great place to a healthy quick bite to eat while walking through beautiful downtown Bardstown!

Great spot to stop in and grab some delicious food. The service is fantastic, and the owner takes pride in his food. This was one of the best bourbon burgers I've had, and the fries were fabulous! The Mrs had the Bardstown bambino, which is basically a muffuletta, and it was loaded with meat!! The couple with us had the chili dogs and chicken sandwich. Everyone was happy with their selections, and all agreed this would be a return visit!

We enjoyed this fun little stop! Hot dogs were great, loved the seasoned fries. Great place to grab a quick sandwich. Super friendly staff.

We’re local and decided to try this new spot for lunch after hearing great things. Some things I noticed when we first got there that could be improved: 1) The young man taking orders could greet customers as they come in, he didn’t say anything until we placed our order (a “hello” goes a long way and makes people feel welcome) 2) The front dining area floor and a couple of the tables were a little messy and could have been cleared considering they opened at 11:30 and we stopped by at 1:30 and the place wasn’t busy.

Now for the food…MY GOD. Let me tell you, if you get the pulled pork prepare to make mess lol that was the best pulled pork sandwich I’ve had in AGES! So hot, fresh, and tasty! The fries could have been a bit crispier but the seasoning was excellent. My husband loved the pulled pork nachos and had to take the rest home there was just so much. We will definitely come back and try some of the other menu items. I’ve seen many businesses come and go in this building so I truly hope this cafe remains successful and stays for a long time!

This is my son's new favorite restaurant. He loves the Smokehouse Burger, which is larger than his head. He's can only eat half of it, so the rest serves as his dinner that night. Kind of a bogo really.

I had the pulled pork sandwich with bow tie pasta and it was excellent! The bow tie pasta was phenomenal! We also ordered the bambino sandwich which was excellent! Definitely a five star. I look forward to returning and trying more food next time we are in town.

We shared the bourbon burger and the special of the day a spicy Hawian chicken sandwich. Absolutely delicious, and we will be back!

If you haven’t checked out Marcella’s yet you need to. The food is phenomenal.

We just recently visited Marcella’s. It was absolutely amazing!! Everything we ordered was wonderful. The club sandwich was huge. Enough to make two meals out of. We will definitely be back!

Everything about Marcella’s is fantastic! Great food, great service and even better atmosphere! Owners are super friendly and passionate about their business and creating fun and super tasty food! Their fries are to die for! Never have had a bad meal from Marcella’s, everything is cooked perfect!

I have been here several times and the food is always outstanding! I had the corn dog and onion rings this time and both were perfect!!

Marcella’s is always a great option! If you are visiting Bardstown make sure to stop here! The food is always fresh and has HUGE portions! They just started serving alcohol as well and we can’t wait to check it out! It’s great that they are open late at night on the weekends, because most of everything in Bardstown is closed after 9 or 10. The owners are also amazing and will always make sure you have a great experience!

The smokehouse burger is Delicious!! It definitely ranks in the top 2 burgers I’ve ever had. I’m so glad I stopped in to give them a try! I’ll definitely be back for more.

Bardstown local, we love this place! Everything we've had has been delicious but the Club is perfect as well as the Kickin' Bourbon wings. EAT HERE.

Consistently delicious! Owners are super nice! So far I have had the club, the chicken panini and the smokehouse burger and they are out of this world! That goes for the Sides too!

A laid-back late night spot serving solid food and great desserts. The best cannoli I've had in Kentucky! Excellent bar selections too!

Visited 07/13 for the first time, the club sandwich is the best one I have ever had. My husband is picky and loved the Bourbon burger. The fries are also very good, love the seasoning on them. This will definitely be a place we get food from often

First time traveling to Kentucky and everyone I know was raving about this place! The food is absolutely amazing! I got the limoncello cake, chicken pesto panini and the Chicago hot dog. I enjoyed every single bite. The staff are very welcoming! Will definitely be coming back here next time I visit! Thank you again!

Cozy, good pricing, and the food was exceptional! Pumpkin cheesecake and a bourbon glazed burger I definitely recommend.
