Diz's Cafe

I had heard great things about this place so I decided to head over with my daughter. The atmosphere inside is great. It was close to Christmas and they gave us some construction paper to make a paper chain to decorate the restaurant. We wrote little messages on them and put our chains together! It was a fun quick craft while we waited to eat. It was pretty busy and the food came out in a reasonable time. We both had the fried chicken sandwich I had mashed and she had fries. The sandwich was delicious and so were the mashed potatoes. We will definitely be back!

Great lunch spot. The menu has variety, which i like obviously, and from what I can tell, almost everything is made in-house. Our service was pleasant and swift, we stopped in for an early lunch at 11:30 and sat at the big window. Our food was delicious and made from quality ingredients. Onion rings were incredible

It took us a while to order, but they were busy. Great food! Nice atmosphere, not too pricey. A must visit!

Super comfortable dining area with a great bar. Nice atmosphere. Service is super friendly and attentive. Food is great quality and value. Fresh and delicious. Lots of love goes into the recipes. I got fried scallops on special and I’ve never seen scallops so large. They were huge, cooked perfectly and delicious. The burger looked amazing too. Fried chicken sandwich was solid and super tasty. The ceasar salad has bacon in it by default which is a welcome addition. The French fries are great too. I’ve had the Mai Tai and an eggnog martini (seasonal special) and both drinks were great; strong and very tasty. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying everything on the menu. Everything I’ve tried has been so good! Check them out.

Definitely a no frills type of place. Great for parents and their kids, for a group of people with varied tastes or work lunch. I wasn’t in love with the menu options BUT every dish at our table was freshly cooked. I appreciated the mac and cheese being an option as a side with their sandwiches. Decent prices as well. Clean establishment. Wish it wasn’t $$ for a salad if you get a protein on it but oh well. I’d suggest this place for sure.

Super friendly staff, everyone had a smile and good vibes...made for a great positive start to our morning 🌄. Had breakfast here and it was delicious. Be patient as it takes a little while to arrive, but when the food arrives they absolutely deliver on quality and taste!

Husband and I wanted to try some place new, and we couldn't be more happy with our decision to do so.
With so many options that sounded delicious, we decided to be fat kids and split a few options.
The chicken fingers were so good. And although I'm not a ginger fan, I bit the bullet and gave the sauce a try. It was so good!!
We also got the chicken parm dinner. I am a sucker for a good chicken parm and my taste buds just danced in happiness! The portion was HUGE too!!!
I can't wait to try more items on the menu.

Cute little downtown cafe with a phenomenal menu. Best chicken tenders I have had in a while. Large portion sizes, desserts are made for sharing. Family-owned restaurant deserving of community support and patronage. Waitstaff is pleasant and present without being overbearing, just the right amount of availability to make sure you have everything you need.

Wow! Wife and I went for dinner. My wife had buttermilk chicken salad with pecans and I had southwest chicken sandwich. Both were delicious. Wife and I both commented it was one of the best tasting meals we have had in a while. Other things we liked was you seat your self, service was friendly and competent and payment was taken electronically at our table. This business has it together and certainly deserves your business...

Stopped in before a show at the Rex, and honestly can't believe more people weren't in there. Sure, there are no fires or swanky high tops or booming tunes. But the food and service were phenomenal. Added bonus: you can swap out your sides to your taste, food came out quickly, portions were enough for 2 meals easily, prices were very reasonable. Can't wait to go back and have been spreading the word on a very positive experience to friends.

Stopped in for a late lunch. We had a very nice lunch from their October specials menu we had the chicken tenders and bang bang shrimp with a side of fries to share. I had an amber ale draft and wifey had a smoking loon Chardonnay. Everything was terrific had to take half of it home. Service from Skye was also outstanding. We highly recommend Diz’s Cafe.

My wife and I love this place. We just found this place one day before a show at the Palace Theatre and we figured we would try it. Food is amazing. A lot of their dinner plates are huge. Servers are super friendly and pricing is decent. I highly recommend Diz's Cafe.

Amazing home-cooked food in a laid back restaurant. The mac & cheese is stunningly good, and the chicken is legendary. This rivals Art Smith's Homecoming and other southern-inspired restaurants on taste, quality, and value. Heaping portions of from-scratch cuisine you'll be eager to try and finish, but won't be able to.

What a great place! Everything is delicious, I'm surprised it's not more crowded. The "Cafe" in the name is misleading so that might be why. When most people think of cafe, they probably think of sandwiches, coffee, pastries - light meals and drinks (non-alcoholic). No way are these light meals! Huge portions! Plus great alcoholic beverages. I hope it gets busier because this is one of my favorite restaurants in Manchester and people don't just see it and think it's a standard cafe.
Seriously - don't let the name fool you. It's not a cafe. Their food, happy hour, drinks, specials - everything - is amazing. (Also, the chairs are so comfortable.)

First time in. Staff was super friendly. Food was fresh and delicious.

Diz's does not disappoint. Our breakfast was excellent. Three egg omelet with ham, tomato and onion cooked to perfection. Eggs benedict, classic with a spicy cheddar jack cheese. I also got a single pancake. Smoke maple syrup was a great addition. Attentive service. Decor could be better, but we came for the food.

We where in town for a wedding and needed some food. Great stop! Comfort food with great flavor, great environment, and friendly staff. BIG variety! Also love that the stir fry was served with cauliflower rice!

I had my first visit to Diz’s a couple weeks ago. Honestly, I can hardly wait to return.
I enjoyed a Monte Christo sandwich and my friend dug into his bacon cheeseburger. The best
comfort food, good flavors, served in a friendly, diverse, downtown atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Came here for dinner on a Wednesday night. Had a great meal with very attentive and friendly service. The staff was great and the food tasted great. I had a chicken fettuccine that was tasty and a cocktail off of their fall menu. The drink itself was great. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a filling dinner and some great service.

This place is excellent! They just opened, and they are a perfect addition to Elm Street. Their food, service, and prices and wonderful. They have a selection of traditional American comfort foods, but with a twist. For example, the mac and cheese was made with their special queso and cheddar jack mix for a perfect zing. They also have some good beers on tap.

If you're looking for a fun new restaurant with great food and prices as an alternative to the more expensive ones downtown, this is it!
