Grizzly Manor Cafe is a gem in Big Bear, CA. The cozy, local vibe, coupled with their mouth-watering breakfast menu, makes it a must-visit spot for anyone in the area. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a quirky, warm atmosphere that only adds to the unique dining experience. The staff is known for being friendly and attentive, ensuring your meal is as enjoyable as possible.

The menu is a breakfast lover's dream, with options ranging from their famously large pancakes to hearty breakfast combos that include eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon. Their French Toast breakfast is a personal favorite of mine—perfectly cooked, dusted with powdered sugar, and simply delicious.

Portion sizes are generous, to say the least, so make sure to bring your appetite.

This place came highly recommended from friends and now I come here for breakfast every time I'm in Big Bear. There's no way I can come and not stop by for some food. I've been coming here for the past two years now and it never disappoints me. I try something new every time and have loved everything. On my previous visit I had the French Toast and it was amazing. This time I had to try the Blob and my friends tried the different pancakes. Then tomorrow I'm definitely going for their waffles. The place isn't that big, so make sure you get there early or you'll have a little wait because everyone loves the food here. It has a nice old school diner slash nostalgic feel to it. You definitely can't go to Big Bear and not have breakfast here at least once.

Make sure you go early with enough time to wait. It's totally worth the wait though, food is delicious, service is great! Gets a little crowded but that's expected in a small place. Definitely a must go place in Big Bear.

We had brunch there on Sunday around 9.30am. Expect a long wait (1.30 for us), but they will let you know the wait so you can go for a walk and come back later. The portions are huge, the vibe is everything and the staff so kind! We had the Sissy boy, big fat and some sides. We will definitely come back to enjoy this old fashion breakfast dinner.

This place is incredible. It's my first time visiting Big Bear, and this place is making the best first impression. It's small and there were a few families ahead of me to get tables so I got takeout (which was so fast!) and took it back to my cabin. The 5 minutes I waited for my unbelievably delicious food gave me just enough time to snap some pictures of the sticker walls (and ceiling) and one of the many good doggos enjoying a meal with their people. The music is good, it's a mix of locals and tourists which is always a good sign, and the service is incredible too. I will drive to Big Bear just for this place TBH. It's that good.

Delicious breakfast!! It's worth the wait if you aren't in a hurry!! Chicken fried steak and biscuits/gravy were so good!! Quick, friendly service!

Everyone that works here is so nice and the food is always great. Their prices are very reasonable. Bring a sticker and add to their walls and grab a cup of coffee before mountain biking or snowboarding

Parking was limited but it was worth the wait. Truly enjoyed the vibe here. The employees just loved being there and it brought me back to my military days. Had the burrito and Chef Doug hooked it up, a massive pancake and eggs and hash brown. Definitely a place to try and come back to. Thanks Fabian for the awesome service! Oh and bring a sticker to put on their wall. Leave your mark!

Great spot for late breakfast! Food is good and comes in huge portions, but the best part is staff - always smiling and friendly!

Great vibe. Awesome staff. Food is tasty. French toast is a must try. We did not try the pancakes but the people we asked who did say they are delicious and big. I had the (Don't Ask dish) big portion needed salt and pepper (but that's why the S&P is at the table) sausage patty was big and tasty. (Thing to remember when ordering biscuits and gravy ask to have some sausage cooked with the gravy)
The whole staff was very friendly and full of life. If I lived in big bear I would surround myself with friends like the Grizzly Manor staff. It's a small building with a huge pulse.

This place was FABULOUS! 10 small tables and a half-bars seats at the bar. Open kitchen, and though the menu claims the staff is salty, they were AMAZING to us, even though I had to be a snowflake. I'm currently on a Low-Iodine Diet in preparation for radiation therapy, so I had to ask about 8 million questions and the chef himself came out WITH the giant box of oil he cooks with, not because I asked him to, but because he wanted to be SURE I could eat and be ok!!! I brought my own LIDsafe salt and LIDsafe coffee creamer, and I got to actually eat with my boyfriend while on vacation #priceless. He got the Fat Pat, and reports that everything was delicious, only 'problem' was everything was piping hot 😂
For those on LID, I got a side of 1 egg White and a side of hash browns. 10/10!!! Sorry for the progress pix - I was hungry and excited lol

Great spot! Glad we got a chance to eat here, and on Father's Day no less. Definitely recommend getting here early! Food was delicious (pancakes are no joke!), and service was wonderful. We're definitely coming back here on our next trip to Big Bear Lake 😁

Hash browns is to die for and the biscuits and gravy is "home made style", so good. Portions are huge and it will keep you going all day.

Such a vibe, the walls have stickers and pictures from guests. Food was great. The pancakes were huge. Staff was great. They played pop music which was a vibe. Long wait but worth it. We will be going here every time we go to Big Bear

Came here Saturday 7/30/22 around 7:30am, walked in and sat down at a table, no waiting. I was surprised to see there's only about 10-11 tables. My first time here but when I go to Big Bear I've always seen people waiting outside, lots of people. Get here early and you don't wait. After coming here I see why people will wait for an hour to get seated. Service is great! Our order was taken within 5 minutes and our coffee was poured within 2 minutes of sitting. I had the biscuits and gravy within Louisiana smoked sausage and eggs and hash browns and the portion was huge. It was amazing. All the dishes are huge. You haven't had a pancake till you've come here. It literally is hanging off the plate. You will not need lunch after coming here. I will be back.

Came for breakfast and loved it all. The ambiance was small town friendly, everyone chit chatting with one another while the chef prepped our food. The food portions are big and delicious. It was very nice to meet the General and he came and served us coffee!! Thank you! Would recommend and gladly revisit when in town.

Although we've been to big bear, I've never been brave enough to endure the potentially long wait at Grizzly Manor. This time, we decided to give it a try. I'm VERY glad we did. The wait could be 20-60 minutes. There may be only about 12 tables a few seats at the bar but this place was awesome. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was great. The biscuits and gravy are fantastic. The pancakes are fluffy and flavorful. Get the hot chocolate, you won't be disappointed. I will definitely be back
